Hallo und Wilkommen!
My name is good enough left unsaid, so just call me Yoshi. To those of you looking around here, do as you please. You can chat with me here (quoting helps), suggest a roleplay idea, or even pick from a list of various ideas that have popped up in my head over time. I'll give you the ins and outs in each post to come, but this is the introduction. If the avatar or roleplaying style didn't give it away, I'm a pretty laid back guy with a twisted side. Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty passive and relaxed most of the time- but when it comes to roleplaying I can't get enough of action, romance, violence and gore. I tend to go into excruciating detail, so just be warned about that if you decide to want to roleplay with me in something of a grim nature.
Anyhow, I have a tendency to ramble on a lot. I tangent a lot too, so forgive me if I seem to get side-tracked during a chatting session. It's just simply a part of my nature. I guess I can give you a little something for your troubles; you can learn a little about me here. I'm a pretty reserved person, so I tend not to give out personal information at all, or very little if I've made friends with you. Honestly if I don't know you in person I tend to keep mostly to myself in that aspect, but you can coax it out of me if you're friendly enough (sometimes). Anyway- I hope that people will join me for a roleplay, although I may decline some (no offense if I do, it may simply be something I am against or I may not be able to with everything going on.) As it stands, I believe I'm in 8 roleplays. If things end up picking up (especially in the one I'm moderating) I may be unable to take on new roleplays or may have to take a hiatus from a roleplay. (Out of fairness I tend to choose the one with the least activity or the one that I've been in for the least amount of time). Please do not take offense to this; I don't go targeting people.
I suppose that leaves this to be started up. I hope to see some interested souls float around in here.

Alright guys, here are my personal guidelines for what I'm open to and such: Like I said before, I'm a pretty chill dude. Like everyone else though, I have my reservations. In this sections I'll give you my lowdown of everything I will or won't do. If something's not on here and you're wondering if I'm interested / willing to do it, just bring it up! ^^ I'd be more than happy to consider anyone's ideas.
Here's some things about how I roleplay: I'm a straight male, so I play straight males. (I also will play creatures, depending on what they are.) No offense to any other sexualities or females, but I stick to my comfort zone on that. I tend to play characters in my own age group, but I can do otherwise if necessary. I don't do anything that has to do with explicit content that isn't violence, blood, or gore. Please don't ask me to do anything sexual; I'm telling you now that I won't. I love original characters and roleplays, but I will also play pre-existing storylines from books, movies, games, etc. The only thing I won't do is play a character that isn't original. If you created it and want me to play it, fine. If you ask me to be (example of something relevant that I like) Edward Elric and do a 'fanfiction' sort of thing, I'll have to decline. Ask me to make up my own alchemist and you want to play as a pre-existing character or an original character- by all means go for it. Just because I'll only really play as an original character doesn't mean I'll limit you to that same basis. That wouldn't be fair (or fun for some). I think that's really it, although you can ask whatever you want and I'll try to answer to the best of my ability.
Things I will absolutely NOT do under ANY circumstance (I had to actually go looking up these things in past roleplay guilds I was in so that I remembered half of the stuff):

Yaoi / Yuri (no real clue what it is but it's been hinted to me that these are things that I don't do)

Any Fandoms that I don't know (no offense, I just don't want to do research to do an RP)

I didn't have any ideas, but then I saw some of yours and I was reminded of an old plot of mine. I've tried it out a few times. It's funny because people are always like 'LJAERFPOAIWERLKJ043JSDF I'M SO EXCITED' and then I get ditched crying
Oh well.
I is/can be a combination of a few of your pairings, really, and some other elements can come into play. I have a whole slew of ideas but...yeah.
It does sort-of require you playing a pre-fab-ish character.
Like, there's this character in old folklore called the Erlking...basically he hunts things down and kills them LOL. Just for fun. It's an old, Danish legend.
I was kinda thinking more modern day. Like, he's kinda lost his jurisdiction and there's lots of rules placed over him (depends on how 'faerie' you want to get here) but he still hunts. Maybe he hasn't hunted in a while, blah blah...idk. Whatever.
And then...he for one reason or another, starts to 'hunt' my character. Like...she could be anything. Human, something else with a random tie to his past or something (ie: ancestral). Whether that turns into something more than a crazy obsession...I dunno. Haha.
I know it sounds specific, but it's really, really loose. It's open for interpretation on all sides...I just threw out what was in my head to give a clear picture of what it entails. If you want to change anything, that's totally acceptable.
And if you're not interested at all...well, that's acceptable too xD

Well, you certainly have my attention, although I'm not sure that's what you want since it's mostly comprised of confusion. What do you mean by pre-fabish? I don't really understand that concept; perhaps I'm thinking too black-and-white about the topic. In keeping with this I'll go ahead and clarify my question and expand on it. Since this Erlking you've noted is from Danish lore, does it have a set bio, description/picture, personality, abilities, appearance, etc? If so, I'd have to respectfully decline. I'm fine with using an archetype to structure out a Character Profile Skeleton, but I can't play as characters that don't have an "OC Aspect" to them, otherwise it becomes very difficult for me to maintain the character and my interest. The main reason I put that up there is because in the past it has made me some enemies in the RP community. Anyhow, to delve further into the topic, what do you mean by faerie? Zombie Girl Squadron. It's basically Charlies Angels meets the Avengers meets Team Fortress 2 meets Magical Girl shows...with zombies.

Elenielle sorry, lol. That was a bit confusing. I meant 'pre-fab-ish' in the sense that there are a few archetypes to follow but nothing set in stone basically he's an ancient supernatural creature who hunts things for fun. What i meant by 'faerie' is the whole lore there about the fae world and the winter and summer courts, but we don't have to worry about that.

Not having to deal with the whole faerie thing would be wonderful. Perhaps he lost power over the ages or was placed under a restrictive spell for millennia, and now that he's free he's weakened considerably and needs to regain his strength. Oh omg ahaha as soon as you mentioned Goethe I thought about it for a second and remembered "Der Erlkönig" from a German class I took. Gotcha.

Unfortunately with moderating a zombie survival roleplay of my own, I'm set on those for now. :c sorry bud ummm...this isn't a zombie survival role play...like at all....I'm not sure if you actually checked out the rp or not, but this is litterally NOTHING like a zombie survival rp, infact the only similiarity is that there are zombies....sentient...over the top....anime hero zombies....that you play as...to fight monsters. That's like saying Army of Darkness or Hell Boy are zombie horror movies...it's just not true, it's a completely different genre.

No the rp is set in the same universe as another rp I run, which is a super hero rp. So the dark forces in question refer to super villians, evil organizations, and other monsters that are an issue, but aren't exactly running rampant. The world itself is on a whole rather stable, it's just the human governments have come together to create the Zombie Girl Squadron so that they have a weapon that's under their control, rather than having to rely on superheros that act for themselves and don't necessarily follow any one governemnt's orders. The idea is that the humans making up the G.H.A are paranoid that letting meta-humans run things would essentially make the human race obsolete, so employing the ZGS is basically a premptive measure to try to remain relevant. They're basically a para-military/superhero group, just all made up of zombies to give it an interesting twist. And the issue isn't that you misunderstood the rp, but that you miss classed the rp and then wrote it off entirely because of it's genre, one you falsely put it under in the first place. Which hopefully one can understand how that'd be irksome. The reason I questioned if you had read it was because I went out of my way to make it very clear that it wasn't the typical zombie survival style rp. Any sense of condescension is only because I tend to use exaggerated language to get my point across, since the issue sprung from the premise not being clearly communicated in the first place, being blunt is my means of assuring I'm clearly understood.
