 Le Cirque Des Horreurs is a place of madness and wonder. It's cynical beauty attracts the eye, and distracts the mind. Created and run by one man alone. No apprentices, no heirs, just he in all his humble glory. Caelius Razvan, or as others refer to him as Ringmaster Raze, or simply Kale, is the man behind the curtain. A demon, of sorts. Bound by a pact with Lucifer, Kale must sacrifice innocent souls in order to remain alive. Will the guilt of his actions take over or will his heart fade to black with the whispers in the night?
Feeding off of souls to replenish his energy is no way to live. What will become of the trapped souls bound to Kale? The fire manipulator, the psychic, the illusionist, the shape shifter, and even the man gunning for Kale's position as ring master, all have their secrets. The trick is, who is loyal, and who is plotting against others? What will become of these 'freaks'? And most importantly, who will make it out alive? So step right up! Look this way! Okay everyone! I need everyone to test their pretty posties and once they are all up I will open with Kale. I took the last girl because I don't want to wait anymore. If someone else would like it please let me know, I'm not sure how well I will do playing so many as I play roughly six or better in another rp as well as this one. If not that is fine too. Also I need separate icons for the twins to finish the pairings list. This list is subject to change as the story progresses. Any other questions, concerns, ideas, plot twists, etc feel free to message me. No godmod, no fighting within the guild, yada yadda okay let's go!

What you do, is you're decision. You control your stars.❞ I'm just going to add a little more information about my character, Magnolia Moon. Some of you may remember the old picture I used for Magnolia. Sadly, the model I was using didn't have any more photos. So I thought it would be a good idea to switch up and use something else. I can across the pictures of Ariellah and fell in love. She's just so beautiful and looks nice. "Now here's a little more information." Magnolia obviously likes the ringmaster, but she see's that Cassandra is very close to him. To be honest, Cassandra intimidates Magnolia and she knows that the feisty girl could kill her without hesitation. So when someone asks if Maggie likes Kale, she instantly tells them "No!" She never wants word getting out that she does like him, if so, Cassandra might come after her and snap her in half. Magnolia is nice to Cassandra and will be willing to help if she could but she will never cross the woman. Ever. Whenever Kale tries to be nice or if he ever tries to help with the chore that can be a little much for Maggie, she pushes a little more and brushes it off like it's nothing when Cassandra is near. Despite her feelings with their ringmaster, she is never scared of him. Even when he eats a soul, others turn away or make yucky faces, she sits there and shrugs it off like it's nothing. Kale knows that she thinks that he isn't so scary to her. But while both are away, if she was to ever hear ill will about the Ringleader, she is the first to stick up for him. It upsets her since he did open his gates to us, who asked for his help. Magnolia's readings are always accurate between the stars and cards. With her psychic abilities, she move objects and know where someone is. But she never wants to cheat since it kills the 'hide and seek' factor, unless it was urgent. Okay, we need to start this role play soon cause I'm itching to play!WHEN YOU FUMBLE ALL YOUR BANGLES

     A little bit more about Jesse! Though he is very book smart, he doesn't understand the world he is living in. To him the entire Cirque is just a place for all of the misfits to come together and live peacefully. He understands that some are immortal but knows nothing of how they came to be that way. He doesn't know or understand what the ringmaster does, and is completely oblivious to the soul trades. He has convinced himself he was dreaming when he woke up from the fire, and doesn't really care to relive the memory. Aside form all of that, Jesse is the sweetest guy you'd ever want to meet. Very considerate, and chivalrous. He believes in behaving like a gentlemen, and he respects women, even if they don't deserve it. It is very rare for Jesse to fight, unless the situation demands it. He likes his job, and though he feels under appreciated most of the time, he rarely complains.
Working out is a hobby of his, though he isn't very dedicated to it, it is an easy way for him to pass the time. He is built rather well, and loves himself exactly the way he is, even though he doesn't really feel like he belongs. He has no special abilities, or power, other than the fact that Kale can't extract his soul. Believing that to be a dream, Jesse thinks nothing of it. "I love conversation, especially if the topic intrigues me. I graduated high school, and law school, but here I am. Don't get me wrong, I like it here, but I sometimes wonder if I made the right choice. I have my secrets, just like everyone else, but there is something greater keeping me here, I just haven't figured out what that is yet." Jesse usually stays in his own head while working thinking about everything and nothing. 'I haven't been on the stage yet, but Ringmaster Raze said I would be on call. I've never preformed a day in my life. Hopefully they'll never need me and just stick to me fixing things around here like the rides, stables, caravans, trailers, and whatnot.'
Friendly to everyone, polite, smart, helpful, and handy as all get out, there isn't much to hate about Jesse. His downfalls include his getting easily frustrated when stressed, violent when defending or protecting someone, and his very sweet nature that allows others to use him as a doormat. There is no one in particular he dislikes, though some people give him that 'bad feeling'. He loves to work outside, just not so much when it is cold, visit the animals and build them new things for their acts or cages, and walking around to socialize in his spare time, making sure anyone who needs help gets it. One request though, for Earthly, could you make the size bigger on your text? It is hard for me to see and it'll be impossible when I have to read posts on my phone.       A little bit more concerning Cassandra. She is one tough b***h, and proud of it. She is extremely protective over Kale, and gets jealous rather easily when it comes to him. She was his first soul, and has stood as his 'right hand lady' ever since, helping him build the life he now adores so much. She and Kale have their ups and downs but what do you expect having known someones for decades upon decades? Though they never really established a solid romantic relationship, they have their sinful rendezvous from time to time. Cassie hopes for things to blossom between them, but in the back of her mind she knows Kale is incapable of the emotion. "I understand that he isn't exactly able to 'love' per-say, but to see other women trying to get with him, really pisses me off. I have feelings for the guy, I always have, but hey, what can you expect? He is the descendant of true evil. Anyway I like where I am at, and though we have our intimate nights together on occasion, I don't mind it when we venture out for different partners. Variety is key. Why be a saint when you are already damned?"
Being second in command comes naturally to Cassie. She is the only one who has been there from the beginning, and knows exactly how Kale wants things done. She takes care of most issues, but when it is out of her hands, she takes it up with Kale personally. Cassie is the type that is described as the 'eats nails for breakfast' kind of girl. She is easily angered and has an attitude not many can handle. 'I may not be what I seem inside my head. Tough b***h on the outside, idiot with feelings on the inside.' She has her bold opinions as well. Kale is her number one, nothing and no one can top him as of yet. Maggie, that psychic little nuisance, irritates Cassie in several ways, and dislikes her quite a bit. The twins don't bother her, nor does their sister, they seem to leave her be nine times out of ten. Jesse is kind of a pathetic whelp in Cassie's opinion, being mortal and powerless. She usually calls on him for 'b***h work'. As for Cathleen, Cassandra quite likes her. A girl after her own heart, she would say, if she still had one. Finally there is Zach, that devilish magician. She finds him challenging her more often than not. Irritating son of a b***h he is, but for one reason or another she occasionally appreciates a spat with someone who can keep up.
If you are on Cassie's good side, then she is helpful, and a great person to have on your side. If she is your enemy, it is suggested that you watch your back, for she is a fan of torture and is most practiced in the art of it from recently to ages and ages in the past. Her powers consist of strength, invisibility by will, and occasional fire manipulating. The fire is a new thing developed for her, but she can lift a man three times her size, up over her head by the neck, without a second glance if she wishes. So watch out for Cassandra, you never know when she will turn up behind you.  OOC:

 Tightrope Walker/Assistant/Acrobatics
Little sister to Jack and Finn “I may not have gone where I intended to go .♡.Well my name is Piper and this is my post, isn't it pretty? Okay well really, this is how it will look when I'm actually speaking, "Here I am talking right now, do you hear me?" Well that's me talking right there. Want to see what it looks like when I'm thinking about something?

Okay, so I guess I could take some time and tell you about my character, Piper. As you may already know, she the tightrope walker, specialist in acrobatics, and when it is needed, assistant to her twin brothers' performances. She does pretty well in her performances, in fact, she is pretty confident in them. Things change as soon as she gets off the stage.
When you see Piper, her twin brothers are usually attached to her, one at each side. There are cases where her brothers will go and mess with peopel just for fun, but other than that, they usually keep to themselves.
Of course Piper is grateful for her brothers', but she also gets frustrated with them sometimes. It's their fault that she can't really talk to anyone without getting her tongue twisted. In fact, even looking at the opposite sex makes a large blush cover her face.
When it comes to other members of the cirque, she's not really close to anyone. It's not that she doesn't like any of them, it's just...she just hasn't gotten to know them. She wishes she could be outgoing and make friends, and maybe she could if she just stuck her neck out there, it's just hard.
As for anything special about her? There's not really anything special besides just her ability to move, like her flexibility and speed, it leans a bit above average. Other than that, she's just a normal girl. but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.”

      And now for our Ringleader! Caeluis Thanatos Razvan is several decades old, a few centuries in fact. Frozen in his twenty four year old frame for all eternity, he feeds off of human souls to regain energy and power, and souls lie in the depths of people's hearts. In order to feed from a soul, Kale must plunge his fist into a living breathing human chest, and extract the beating heart. With a short incantation, he holds the heart to his own chest, and a blinding light emits. The heart is then absorbed into his bloodstream, and therefore replenishes his system. For added energy between souls he can consume human blood and regain a far lesser amount of energy that way. He needs one soul per week, that is four murders per month.
"I used to feel terrible about the crimes I was committing. Though I derive from the depths of Hell itself, I am not what you would expect. I can hold emotions such as guilt, sadness, loneliness, happiness, excitability, pleasure, pain, and so on, though the only emotion I cannot grasp is love. My heart never began beating, though I have one, it's been broken since my creation. Anymore I tend to pick off cruel beings for my benefit, ones I don't see worthy to keep on living and polluting the air. From time to time a fresh young woman is quite a treat, but I tend to feed off the evil in the world." Kale is cruel. His emotions are very well masked and the only people ever able to read him are Cassie and Maggie. He cares about every advocate he has in the Cirque, as he sees them as his children. He protects them from the outside world, provides food, shelter, and employment, not to mention a place to belong.
To keep an advocate, he takes their heart, just like a normal feeding, but instead of absorbing it, he locks it away and keeps it safe. If he no longer needs your service or you need be punished, he will retrieve the heart from it's safe place and either stab it with his Hell Blade, or absorb it. He has taken so many lives over the centuries, and become jaded on what is reality from fantasy. The Cirque is his most prized possession, and he would kill anything or anyone to protect it. Short tempered, in control, and harsh. He is baffled by Jesse, and the inability to withdraw his heart. Cassie keeps him grounded when his head starts to spin, but Maggie, he keeps for company as he enjoys her conversation. He pays little mind to the twins unless they are causing trouble, and even less attention to Piper, though he keeps an eye on all of them. Cathleen seems content when near Cassie, so he allows her to deal with the walking temper tantrum. As for Chloe, he barely notices her, and it appears that is how she prefers it. Not many like having to talk to him but hey, he is use to it by now. "People fear what they don't understand..."  OOC: Okay! Once all the pretty posties are up I will jump up to start this thing! I am so excited! Thank you guys for being so patient! And thank you Earthly for your edit and your willingness to help me out! Means a lot!!

 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  I solemnly swear Well this is Finn and Jack Harries, the trouble makers of the Cirque. Most people can't tell them apart, and they usually wear the same clothing on top of that, although the colors may vary slightly. They are the tricksters and magicians in the group. During their performances, they aren't afraid to charm the crowd with their looks and devilish attitudes.
They take great care in their sister. They would never admit it themselves, but they get jealous rather easily when it comes to Piper. They want her attention, and for her to give it to no one else. She is the only one who really understands them, and doesn't see them as just a pair of clones.
Well Finn usually is the one who thinks things through, but he does have his moments. He is the kinder one of the two, and is more willing to reach out and talk to others.
"This is what it looks like when Finn is talking."
Jack on the other hand is the more moody one. He is the one with the short fuse. He has major trust issues, and only consoles with his brother and sister. With that, he is also the more rebellious one, and takes bigger risks.
"This is what it looks like when Jack is talking."
All in all, once they do get close to someone, they are protective of them. It's hard to get close to them though because of such the high wall they have built around them and Piper. As for anything special about them, well Finn just as a way of telling how a person feels, no matter what. It's sort of a gift I suppose. Jack on the other hand, heals really fast from any kind of injury, that's why he is more willing to take more bigger risks. that I am up to no good.

  I'm so ready for this! How about anyone else? Anyway, I will be taking over the role of Chloe. Lynzi has too many characters on her hands for this role play. I don't want her to overwhelm herself. Here is a little about Chloe. She thinks that Kale and Cassie are... rather terrifying. She tries to avoid them at all costs and get her orders from the other workers. She keeps a low profile and makes sure that she doesn't make much noise when it comes to the shows. Maggie... She's a little weird, but a nice girl. Her predictions are accurate, but she gets weirder when anyone brings up the Ringmaster... Cathleen can be mean and harsh. She's just a lighter version of Cassie... Fin and Jack are nothing but trouble and always messes with my tickets, but thankfully their sister, Piper helps me find them. She's such a nice girl. A sane person in this crazy place! Then there is one other sane person... Jesse... He's the exact opposite of Ringmaster Raze... He's nice, sweet, handsome... Oh! Excuse me, I'm drooling.... He helped me from that awful day. I rather not discuss it. At all... I wish that Jesse wasn't treated so badly here. Oh yeah, there is that one guy... what's his name...? Oh! Malachi! He's okay... A flirt I think, so I try to keep things kinda distant from him... he reminds me of Maggie though... They both have a slightly same past with somewhat of the same abilities. Oh well.

Welcome! Welcome! Come one, come all! Step right up! It is a brand new season for Le Cirque Des Horreurs! New acts, new faces, and new mysteries await! Don't dawdle about, hop to it! You are going to miss all the excitement! The fliers for the new season were scattered everywhere, from the streets to the internet, world wide. It was early in the morning, and the Ringmaster was the first to wake. He stirred, and as soon as he registered the day, a devilish grin grew along his face. Showering, and dressing to perfection, he applied his usual black and purple makeup, wearing a gothic styled suit to match. He replaced his piercings with brand new shiny silver jewelry, and finished by putting on his many rings and necklaces. He grabbed his top hat and cane, and decided to go out and see to it that everyone was busy to get everything ready for the season's grand opening.
He went into Cassie's caravan, without knocking of course, and shook her less than sweetly. "Cassandra, for the love of darkness, get your lazy, hungover, a** out of bed. There is work to be done." He rolled his eyes at her protests and exited her caravan, moving right along with other matters to attend to. He passed by the twins and Piper next, stopping briefly. "Are you three ready for your opening act tonight? I trust you got your costumes adjusted? We wouldn't want another wardrobe mishap now would we gentlemen?" He asked, referring to the previous season when their costumes ripped during their act, displaying a little more of the twins than anyone would have liked to see. He gave them a warning raised brow before turning on his heel, pleased that they were seeing to it.
Cathleen was next as he passed by her, nodding a bit to acknowledge her. He didn't particularly like dealing with her so he dodged her as best he could. Seeing she was at least ahead of Cassie, he was pleased enough. He looked over to see Chloe spill an entire box of raffle tickets all over the ground. Rolling his eyes, he sighed, growing tired of her constant clumsiness. He left her be, and bumped into Jesse upon taking a step. "Oh there you are, look, there is a problem with one of the supporting beams in the main tent. I need you to see to it immediately." Kale said before dismissing himself gingerly, and knocking on Maggie's caravan door. Hoping she would at least be ready, he knew she would be able to make his morning a little better. Wanting to see weather the night would be a success or failure, he waited patiently, checking his face for smudges. OOC: HAVE AT THEE!
