Die Fluegel der Freiheit
Caitlyn nodded. "We ran into each other when Mei was out taking some photos, and then she did a cosplay photoshoot for me." Which had gone desperately, crazily wrong thanks to a very weird youma...
And thinking of youma, she considered. She knew Jude and Mei were both Senshi, and if she wanted anyone on the team she was desperately trying to form, she wanted Jude, because his power was strange but useful and because he'd already saved her life once, and so given the opportunity she would absolutely want to fight with him again. But would Jude or Mei be angry with her, for revealing their Senshi identities in front of the other, when they barely knew each other? She took a breath, scanning around to make sure no one would be close enough to overhear.
"She's one of us, actually," she said, her voice dropping so hopefully only the people at her table could hear. "And, uh, Jude, I'm sort of...forming a team? I've asked Mei to join, but I'd really like you to as well." She needed more friends, more people she could trust, and she definitely needed the ones she already knew and trusted by her side as well.

Shanyume
Had Mei of been drinking her tea at the moment, she would have no doubt just choked on a tapioca ball. Instead she found herself looking at Caitlyn with a look of disbelief.
She wasn't mad, no... she was just... surprised... yes surprised would be a good word given the choice of topic and their current location. At least her green haired friend had been vague with her choice of words as 'one of us' could mean just about anything. In all honest it was nice to be able to meet someone else who is familiar with the war that's been going on, she just kind of hoped he felt the same way.
Instead of speaking up Mei looked across the table at Jude watching his reaction all the while turning puzzle pieces over picture side up keeping an eye out for edge pieces.

Like that, Cait had outed both of them -- Jude's eyes flashing onto Mei, straw in his mouth, to see her just as surprised as him. Not upset, but somewhat alarmed. He knew so few people out of uniform, that it was strange to so casually add someone to the fold, and it made him shift uneasily where he sat.
"Oh. Um." He swallowed and stared down into his cup, chewing on a bead of tapioca and trying to figure out what he was supposed to be. "A team? That is. Sure? maybe."
