The demon blade was actually amused by all the colors and all the lights around her. Misty was actually looking as a little girl and not the massive murderer Scarlet had carefully raised. People were just gambling as if they didn't matter about being within Scarlet's range nor hers. Would it be that the addiction to adrenaline and the thrill of gambling were part of Scarlet's madness. Misty still had much to learn but hoped Scarlet would help her understand all better.
"We are not eating these?"
Asked already referring human beings as objects rather than persons. Then again she turned over to her mistress once she was asked a series of questions.
"This place is amazing... no more than just amazing Scarlet sama."
She replied once she had a chance to speak at her mistress.
"Bigger risk, bigger rewards right?"

Misty would smile lightly at her mistress knowing now there werent as many eatable souls as she thought.
"Oh I won't tell anyone Scarlet sama"
She replied, yet she bit her lower lip trying not to focus on the clients since she started to develop anxiety to eat them and she wouldn't want to scare her mistress clients away.
"I know I was a weakling before Scarlet sama showed me the true path to follow. But I'm fearing I might had given that bad habit to my friends."
She said feeling pity for Kuro, Ene and Yuuma, being forced to bear with a weak companion who showed them how to be weak.
"I'm really going to feel bad if I end up eating them easily just because I made them weak"
She said already not minding the idea of eating their souls because of her brainwash. Her priorities had been now switched to Obey Scarlet as first and feeding the demon blade as the second.
"Scarlet sama I don't want to be rude but could we talk in a more private area...I think i'm getting hungry just by looking at your clients."

As the brunette followed her Mistress along the casino she couldn't help but to feel hunger by watching all those lonely souls betting their lives away in the games. Misty played with her fingers trying to remain as calm as she could before her Mistress, she might had the chance to ease her hunger later.
Fortunately for her, the view suddenly changed to appreciate the beauty of the casino. Where no more living being could be spotted but bright lights and colors replaced them with grace, style and luxury.

She was finally at ease when the elevator hit the last floor. The madness was overwhelming subduing her in a moment of ecstasy where her pupils grew wider, a bright smile on her face was marked, her hands were shaking as she felt the urge to kill someone again, to feel the warmth of blood sliding down her blade. But in a matter of minutes everything was over and she was brought back to reality by her Mistress who called her over.

"Y-yes Scarlet sama."

Despite her little high moment she walked gracefully to take a sit next to the bed Scarlet was resting. Infested with madness or not, Scarlet had also showed her some manners and how she needed to be classy at all times. Or at least while she was in presence of her Mistress.

"I'm terribly sorry."
Said about almost loosing herself in that intoxicating moment of madness.
"I assure you have my undivided attention now Scarlet sama."
Assured the brunette waiting to know more about her Mistress.

The brunette nodded lightly.
"I'll do it... but if that were to come I need to get stronger for Scarlet sama."
She replied in a more serious manner.
"Last time I was too weak and I let Shinigami to take me away from Scarlet sama... I will not allow that to happen again. I'll be Scarlet sama's left hand no matter what."
She answered as the saying of the Right hand never knowing what the Left hand would do. She will kill anyone for her. She will do her best to turn Ylil to Scarlet's Right hand.
"How strong do I have to grow to make it happen Scarlet sama?"
She asked, knowing right now she was stronger than she was at that time. But if Scarlet warned her about Ylil's potential then she needed for sure to grow stronger if the time came for her to deal with her.

Misty remained calmed sitting by Scarlet's side on the bed. As she listened, she confirmed she was still too weak to be of use for her Mistress for the time being but the faith the Magician projected in her words towards the brunette. Made Misty to think she actually had a chance, which was good enough for her to set herself in high spirits, drawing up a gentle smile only to show respect towards her Mistress but deep inside she was bursting out with joy, joy that would most likely explode the first chance she gets to be by herself and not to embarrass her person in front of Scarlet.
"That you Scarlet sama... I won't - "

The word's "I won't disappoint you" would be sealed from her lips at the time Scarlet pulled out one of her dexterity tricks by tossing her had right into the hat-rack, giving the brunette some visual motivation for the tasks to come. Her golden hair spilled over the bet while her silhouette shared her curves gracefully on the bed. Completely aware or not. Scarlet was just giving Misty an eye candy of her Mistress. Something Misty had to learn the hard way, that it was all eyes but no touch.
Along with the memories of her past with Scarlet, the lights of her obsession with her captor and now Mistress were lit once more. It was strange at the beginning of their journey but at this age it was crystal clear for Misty that she had a crush on Scarlet. A love that would never be. Scarlet was graceful and powerful. She was just her assistant. But she was okay with that. Just as long as she could remain by her side. Besides, being her assistant had their treats. This moment being one of them.
She was dying from within to toss herself in her Mistress arms. Perhaps to steal a caress or a kiss. But nothing less was shown beyond her face than that gentle smile and a humble nod. Knowing it was time for her to listen once again.
The second point of her being summoned was that Scarlet would train her by feeding her with lured meister and weapons. It was clear Scarlet would love to use other methods, but she took a strong point. What works, works. Why to even gamble blindly if you can set up your cards and slid a hidden ace here and there?
Just as soon as the magician asked if the brunette understood her scheme, Misty would nod lightly before replying."I do."

-"I'll be on your care Scarlet sama, I promise to eat as many souls as I can to be strong as soon as possible to fulfill your desires."-

She replied, her voice cheered up, unable to hold her excitement that much. But still being within her limits not to pull out a scene on her Mistress.

Would Scarlet perhaps be in a mood to display a show of magic? First it was the hat in the rack. But now she took her deck of cards as they spoke. The magician would appear to pick 2 random cards at the time. Misty was lightly anxious to know what was her Mistress hiding. To her surprise, the blonde girl showed a pair of cards, the Jack of Hearts and the Jack of Diamonds. So far it was just like any other card trick save for a little detail that soon caught the brunette's attention.
"Take a good look"
Said her Mistress, still with that bewitching smile of hers which revealed no secrets no matter how hard you tried.
Misty leaned closer as she only saw the symbols, not particularly glancing at the picture at first. But now that she did, the gasp would fell gracefully from her lips as her hands would raise to cover them up, as if trying to pick the gasp back to her. Amazed to see her picture, she grew curious as for why was she the Jack of Hearts and not the Jack of Spades. Her natural assumption would be for her to be the Spades being a weapon at Scarlet's disposal. But couldn't figure out why the hearts.
"...!"
Could it be?
-The heart beats faster as true feelings emerge.-
Could Scarlet already know about Misty's feelings towards her? Could it be she had accepted them in a way?
There were too many thoughts in her head at the moment which made the brunette fluster. It was an honor to be considered part of her deck of cards but the Jack of Hearts was the detail that triggered the demon blade's excitement.
The fast beating of her heart made it even harder for her to hid the fluster in her cheeks. Suddenly, Scarlet retrieves the cards for herself. Her heart stops. The blonde seems to find something which amuses her, enough to cover her lips with her white hand. What was it? What were the meaning of those chuckles? There was little time before her Mistress put those cards back in the deck and inside her jacket afterwards.
Scarlet would then greet her and pat her head with a friendly smile. Misty was speechless. She wished to know the meaning of theses but couldn't dare to even talk.
As the blonde Magician continued with her words, the time to choose where to settle in brought Misty back to reality.

"...."

Normally she would take her time to make a decision this important, however it only took her about 3 seconds to answer back.

"If I stay here, I would eventually learn how to live within madness... that would help me become more powerful right? Besides if there are no servants here I shall take care of this suite for Scarlet sama"

She replied quickly, of course this had nothing to do with the fact of sleeping under the same roof Scarlet did. Her inner fangirl squealed in excitement while she looked all determined in her exterior. Although part of it was true. She did wanted to become stronger for her Mistress.

As the magician seemed to be lost within her thoughts, the brunette would merely smile and listen at her mistress carefully. More over, Scarlet bought Ylil back into conversation, would it be that girl she met at the Jack of Diamonds card?
Being asked, she remained thoughtful for a second. Sure she would like a little friend, specially if it looked as adorable as Ylil did in the card. However part of her was unsure as if she would like to share her Mistress attention. Then again she knew her mistress needed Ylil for something, which lead her to a simple not followed by a kind gesture.
"Yes, I would. It would be nice to have friends. I just hope I'm strong enough by that time. I wouldn't like to show her any weaknesses. Then again I hope she would be strong as well or I might eat her."
While she said this as a joke, it was partly truth. The fact she had to share her Mistress with someone else would mean that other person would be on a thin rope between her good side and her bad side.

Taking that aside, Scarlet would seem to be thoughtful lately, she even went ouside her room just to gace upon the balconies for a second before taking her hand into jacket once again.
"You seem to be inspired today Scarlet sama."
Misty thought about it after looking how endlessly allured was her Mistress to the coin she continuously toss and catched in the air.
The ruby emited a dazzling light with beautiful variants of the red color. However, most of Misty's attention lied upon her Mistress silhouette sitting upon the balcony, such view couldn't be more perfect than it already was.
Scarlet in the balcony, showered by the lights of the casino while the wind blew her golden hair with elegance.
Well at least the ruby's caleidoscope bright could hide the blush within the fangirl's cheeks at times.
Being called, she didt not hesitate to walk her way at her Mistress sight, blending in with the picture which made the demon blade smile.
