((This is backdated to a few weeks after this RP =3))
It had taken a couple of weeks before Dallol could tolerate staying upright and moving around without needing the painkillers that the doctor at the hospital had prescribed to help keep the pain under control. She really didn't like how the medication had the effect of dampening her senses and slowing down her thought processes, only allowing herself a dose just before bedtime daily simply because she didn't quite enjoy waking up from the pain in the middle of the night whenever she tried skipping out on it.
She wasn't looking forward to the coming meeting with Camelot really. The older Knight was thoughtful enough to get her checked into the hospital for her injuries that evening, the reason for his coming after her and why she was in the company of the Negaverse not even brought up once between them then though she was sure that it was at the tip of his tongue the moment an opportune moment came along. Which would be now since he had kindly requested that she focused on her own recovery first then head to the library just after closing hours to seek him out whenever she was physically able to.
Seated on the roof of the library, she cast her gaze over its main entrance, trying to remind herself that she owed him this meeting at least even though she very much wanted to avoid him and whatever questions he might have for her with regards to her relationship with the Negaverse agents whom she was with, ready to call out to him the moment she spotted his civilian persona making his way out of the library and presumably for home.

Tony finished locking up the library and sighed, glad that he had left Dogby at home with the new puppy and new baby. It must have been a lot to look after for Kyndall, and he knew she would be tired when he got in, but then it was his shift. He was alright with that, taking care of everything in the night and morning, as it was more than fair in the trade off scheme of things. He needed to run a short patrol tonight, longer ones coming on his days off, before he did head home, though.
He moved into the alley way and powered up. it was not his usual routine, but he was not sure what to do with himself now that he had such a potent aura to worry about. He sighed and looked down at his hands, still unused to the armor that covered his body now.
His senses drew his focus and he looked up toward the roof, feeling an aura up there. It didn't take much effort to climb his way up, and he hauled himself over the edge of the roof with a clang of armor and a swoosh of his new cape. He spotted Dallol and smiled at her, waving his hand before he approached.
"I'm glad you came. I almost thought you wouldn't. I've been worried about you, though. How are you healing?"

Did she miss him leaving the library entirely? Or did he spot her atop the library roof and came to check on her? Dallol hadn't the foggiest idea really though she supposed that she could be grateful for the powers that be that she hadn't made a wasted trip at the end of the day.
She scrambled to her feet, taking a brief moment to right her balance lest she fell onto her own face before she offered him a small smile. "In all honesty, I was tempted to stay away but I um owed you for your help that evening so here i am and um... thank you." She began to look awkward at his question on her recovery, shuffling her feet as she let her gaze meet his tentatively, almost as if she was fearful of the subsequent questions that would soon follow.
"The doctor said that nothing was broken - just a really bad contusion's all I've got - so they've been keeping me comfortable with the really good stuff. But I'm trying to wean it off now so that I can function and have my wits about me at least." She shifted her weight from one leg to the other, her gaze now somewhat curious when she took in the appearance of the armor and cape that made up his fuku. "Is it just me or.. something about you's different since we last met?"

"Ah... yes. I am a Templar now, rather than a knight. It's a... long... ish... story. Ah, anyway," he chuckled and shook his head, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. He was still getting used to the whole thing, and was always a fairly bashful and humble sort. He did not like bragging about himself, and though he knew there was a line between bragging and simply... telling someone what happened to him, he was still a bit bumbly about the whole thing.
He smiled at her dumbly, clearing his throat to resettle himself.
"It's new to me still, too, but it comes with a lot more power and some interesting little perks. I'll do my best to honor the position that something saw fit to give me, at any rate. As for you, I was hoping you might like to spend some time catching up, or if I could offer you some training, or help, if you needed it."
He was sincere in his offer, his warm eyes looking at her with paternal kindness swimming in his gaze. He would always be a gentle soul, regardless of where the war brought him, or what he had to do in the defense of those that needed defending. Or, in this case, those that seemed like they could use a little support.

Dallol nodded a few times, smiling sheepishly at Camelot as she congratulated him on the transformation that had surprised even he himself. "A Templar. That sounds important. It's like you've become the Dada of all the Knights so I suppose that congratulations are in order... Dad." She grinned wide, kidding in all honesty really with that last word which was not meant to be taken as a form of disrespect towards the older Knight. In stark contract to him, she was relatively new and there were still a great many things about the Knights that she needed to learn and get acquainted with now that she had finally worked out for herself her own stand in the war between Order and Chaos.
"I was wondering if you could show me Camelot. Your Wonder... you know, what we talked briefly about the first time we met?" Training, or any strenuous physical activity for that matter, was a definite no no for her at this point. On the other hand, a quick trip to Camelot was probably something that she could manage. After all, it would just be like another school field trip.
Right?

He chuckled and nodded his head, thinking about it. He had a very strong paternal instinct, and it always kicked in when he was surrounded by other knights. They were generally all far younger than he was, and he could not help but want to keep them safe. He considered them something akin to his family, so he did not mind when he was teased about it. A lot of his pride was rooted in the other knights, and because of that he could take heckling.
He knew they were capable of a lot, and having a little fun was certainly not a bad thing.
When she asked to see his Wonder, Camelot bowed his head a little bit.
"Of course," he said graciously, "I would not mind taking you to Camelot, and showing you around. It's a very nice place to visit, I find, and a good way to escape the stress of Destiny City, at least for a little while." He motioned for her to come closer to him.
"All you need to do is hold on, and I can take us there." Traveling to his wonder was not difficult for him these days, as many times as he had been there. Just another thing he had learned to use and get used to, like powering up and down or calling his weapon.

Seeing Camelot like this, a Knight turned Templar, had Dallol wondering if there would come a day when the same would happen to her as well. It made her wonder if it was only a matter of time or accomplishing certain specific tasks that would earn her the right to move up the ranks and she decided that she would try to find out more from Camelot at some point later on.
"How is it like really? Is it anything at all like the medieval times as depicted by the books?" She beamed at the older Templar when he acceded to her request of paying a visit to his Wonder, taking his cue to close the remaining distance between them and then tentatively wrap her arms around him in a hug.
"Like this..?"

"Just like that," the Earth knight said with a laugh, smiling knowingly and then focusing on the trip. Moving through space and time seemed like a common place occurrence now, as often as he was able to do it. Or made to do it, sometimes, by forces beyond his control. He had been pulled into other realms and dimensions so many times now, even from before he'd ever powered up, it was almost like getting into a car and driving to work.
In fact, if he were honest, he probably space traveled more than he drove: he always walked to work. It was better for his leg and kept him feeling healthy and connected to the world around him.
Arriving in Camelot was always a pleasure for the knight. He looked around at the new world around them. Where before it had been familiar, all man made and simple, here it was overgrown and wild. Grass, brilliant and a brighter green than he had ever seen in the city, waved in a gently, fresh breeze and stretched over long, rolling hills in the distance behind them. Ahead of them stood the remains of a mighty castle, covered in vines and natural decay, though the castle itself seemed to have been destroyed by less than natural means. Large chunks of the building had fallen from the towers and walls, as if from a barrage of heavy attacks. Still, at the gate, the banner of Camelot flew, emblazoned by the same dragon that the knight Camelot bore on his shield.
The air was fresh and unpolluted, and Camelot took a deep breath before he looked at Dallol and grinned, encouraging her to release him and relax a bit.
"Here we are, as easy as that. This is the castle, as you can see, though time and war has had its impact. I still find it beautiful, but perhaps I'm a bit bias," his tone was wistful and gentle.

Not quite knowing what to expect from the space and time travel to get to a Knight's Wonder, Dallol blinked when she realised that, within a span of a few seconds, both Camelot and herself were no longer on the rooftop of the library building in Destiny City, standing instead on a gently sloping grassland before what appeared to be the ruins of a once majestic castle.
"That was fast. Is this traveling to your Wonder thing something that only Knights and Templars can do?" If this was something that was way beyond her current level of a Page and wasn't going to be avail to her any time soon, it sure gave her yet another reason to train and get stronger just so she could see for herself what hers was going to be like. Smiling up at the older Templar, she took a step back then took a deep breath of the fresh air that was entirely free of the pollution that came with living in a city like Destiny City. "This is beautiful... are all the Knights' Wonders the same?" She had to admit that she was even more curious than ever as to how her Wonder and those of other Knights were like now.
"So what are you supposed to do when you come here? Other than marvelling at the scenery and exploring the castle ruins like a regular tourist I mean." There had to be way more than this than a mere quick and free getaway from the hustle and bustle of life in Destiny City, she rationalised.

"Well, yes. Any knight can visit their wonder, once they learn how. It's a very personal connection, but when the words come to you, you simply recite a pledge and you are brought to your Wonder. It is similar to the way Senshi can travel to their home planets. These realms are ours, direct lines to our past and to knowledge that can help us in the present, if we can take the time to understand and to explore them."
He smiled, looking around the grassy area warmly. He felt very at peace here, and he felt a deep connection to his namesake.
Walking leisurely with her, letting her look around and take in the beautiful, natural scenery, he let her ask him her questions, thinking about each one in turn before he opted to answer them.
"Not all Wonders at the same in appearance. Each knight represents a different planet, as you know, and each planet has its own appearance and weather. Since this is a realm of Earth, it seems very familiar and natural to you, but of course, other planets can be very different. That's one thing I do love about Wonders, and I hope to be able to visit others, if they take me. It's never the same."
He walked them toward the castle, though he was in no hurry to get there.
"You learn. Sometimes, at your own Wonder, you'll have memories of your past, or you may even be visited by the ghost of your ancestor. It is different for each knight. I am, it seems, the rebirth of the Camelot that lived in this time, rather than a descendant. I see his life, sometimes, when I visit new places, or touch certain things that held meaning for him. It's very gradual, at least it was for me before."

The Uranus Page took a brief moment to take in the beauty and the serenity of the landscape around her though she made sure that she did not wander too far from Camelot's side. "I see. Makes me wonder what Dallol will look like then. Have you ever been to Uranus before?" The ability to visit her wonder still seemed like something really far off to her now so the next best option avail to her now was to live through another's prior experience.
"Mm... do you find what you've learnt about the past useful then? Like some special ability or weapon sorta?" Well, he did say that one could come across knowledge from the past that could help them in the present at their wonder.

baby_gwing (No worriieees. THough I can't say I remember what we were doing >> ) "I can't say I have," Camelot said thoughtfully, thinking back to the few other planets and Wonders he had been to so far. He needed to make more of a habit of going out and visiting more, as he loved to learn about the histories of others, and the worlds that used to populate things so long ago.
He smiled, looking around the landscape and taking a breath of the fresh, clear air. It was untainted here, as there was no pollution to weigh the air down in this little frozen moment of history.
"I think everything you learn about who you were, or who your ancestors were as the case may be, can help. Mistakes of the past can be learned from and avoided, while triumphs can lead to more understanding of how things turned out now. I don't want to spoil the surprises waiting for you, but there are many things to find and learn in your Wonder."
He smiled, being vague on purpose. He felt that Wonder visits were very personal, and part of the journey to becoming a better and stronger knight.
