Started using Vicodin again after my stepdad got surgery on his foot. They don't notice but I've been taking four a day for the last week. I really need help guys, what do I do? The urge is so strong I refuse to even attempt to resist it. It's been the reason why my material and posting inconsistency has been lack luster; all I do is snort them in the morning and play League of Legends without being able to feel my face.
This isn't a cry for attention but one for help.

Not a whole lot we can do, dude. You'll need to go talk to a professional about it.
Not saying it to be a d**k, just stating it as it is.

ProtoWolf 2.0 No one here is a professional. Seek professional help. Basically, what everyone else is saying. No one is trying to push you away, but it's true. We aren't professionals, we have no real way to help. The only advise I can offer personally is try to force yourself to overcome it; you'd be surprised what sheer willpower can do. If you want to stop, you can at the least be your own catalyst for the process. Either way, a professional is your best bet.

All I can do is tell you what I've heard other health care professionals tell patients asking for help fighting an addiction to prescription painkillers:
Consult a physician as soon as possible.
All creative differences aside, AJ... what you're doing is dangerous. While I am but a lowly pharmacy technician, please understand me when I say that the misuse of Vicodin can lead to gnarly adverse effects like those you're already experiencing and those you stand a chance of experiencing (i.e. lowered blood pressure, decreased breathing rate, etc.). Forgive me if I'm preaching; I think you've already grasped the gravity of the situation you're in.
You are free to choose where you will receive treatment, be it with a physician by appointment or by visiting your local emergency room. You'll want to ask what your treatment options are, how long treatment could take to work, and whether or not you should see a specialist.
The rest is up to you, AJ. You can do this.
