How could this have happened?

Hypnos might have told Sailor Iris that Bazzite was her friend but the truth was Bazzite was more than just a friend to Hypnos. He represented the hope Hypnos had that things could be changed and now he was gone. What did that mean for her hopes and her dreams? Were they lost in the dust as he was? Hypnos didn't know, she just didn't know anymore!

She didn't know anything. Everything she fought so hard for was nothing but the concerns of a foolish child in the eyes of others. She didn't actually fight for anything worth value, simply playing dress up in a war that planned to kill her as it did all other senshi who refused to face reality and grow up. Older senshi looked down on her, younger senshi looked on her with confusion and disbelief. She didn't belong here. Not just as Hypnos but Ainsley was ostracized as well. Earth felt so foreign to her now and the sinking depression it left her with caused Hypnos to do the only thing she could do: run.

She ran blindly away from where the dust of Bazzite haunted her, from where she'd fought with Sailor Iris, from where her hopes and dreams laid broken. She tried to run away from it, to escape her feelings, but they caught up with her. Tears slid down the cheeks of chibi senshi of sleep's face as she ran blindly through the park toward her home. She edged closer and closer to her home until she eventually went inside, still powered up as the senshi of sleep.

She barely shut the door behind her and she didn't call out to anyone who might be home but the lights were off, signaling that her sister Bell wasn't home. It didn't matter though. She didn't turn on any of the lights before she ran upstairs to her bedroom. She didn't seem to even be considering things as she ran into her bedroom and then grabbed her suitcase. She only knew of one thing right now: Escape. She needed to escape from all this pain, all this agony and she took her suitcase and began to pack things that she thought she might need into it. She made sure to bring a sheet set, a blanket and a pillow but when they wouldn't fit into her suitcase she stuffed the sheet set into the pillow and the pillow into the blanket, using the blanket as a makeshift carrier for it.

There wasn't much formula to her madness and when she could no longer think of things to put into the suitcase she closed it shut and lugged it downstairs with her. From there she went to the kitchen and stuffed as much food into her bag as she could before her slipper covered feet went back to the hallway and left the house. She looked at it for a moment with grimace before she walked away and didn't look back. She knew one thing and only thing only: She couldn't stay here anymore. What was there here for her? This world was so full of hatred, so fully of agony that every breath she seemed to take did nothing but burn her slowly from the inside out.

Palms shaking uneasily as she held her phone with one hand as she got closer and closer to her revelation, Hypnos walked until she found a quiet location. There she closed her wet eyes from the world of pain and put all the concentration she could into her cellphone as she pressed down on the button. It took twice as long as usual for her to gather the thoughts for it, given how shaken she was, but she pressed on until she disappeared without a trace.
