http://kirbyufo.com/end-of-an-era/ I found this today when thinking to look something up on him for a post I was going to make in Site feedback.
I think it's best to just leave this here and see what y'all have to say. ...not going to tell anything about it...better for the shock value.
I've decided not to make my post in Site Feedback that I was going to make on the new game and the music since I've having some massive second thoughts on the subject.

Wow, what a beautiful, poignant, hopeful insight into the life of a Gaian staffer. I wish him and his loved-ones well. I'm glad he was able to learn a valuable lesson from his experiences. <3

Yeah, exactly how I was feeling when I read that. And being married and trying to work on some projects together/work stuff out with the hubby he's needing some help on, I can get an inkling of how they must be feeling. They sound like wonderful people too. heart

I really do wish them well in the future.
I don't even know what to say, to be honest.

Lay offs are probably worse than being fired, in my book.
It's not that you were doing a bad job, but you just were not valuable enough. Even after working so hard for a company, its almost like some of the blame lands on you. Rather than poor implementation of jobs and ideas from the staff.
I dunno.....just rambling. Its sad though, at least he still has a job. I would have been blown away if both were laid off. crying

And we didn't see his name on that site-wide letter....
