"What Would Your Character Do?" Activity
This is an activity that's partly for fun, partly for getting to know your characters, and partly for practice at making up different situations. Those are all good things for writers
Basically, this is how it goes:
I start by describing a small scenario, such as a clerk giving the character two dollars too much change.
The next person will reply with a condensed bio of one of their characters (Name, Sex, Age) and then finish the scenario, according to what your character would do if he/she were placed in that situation.
So, if John is an honest saint in financial distress, the scenario may end up with him pondering whether or not to do the right thing and return the spare money, or keep the money because of his financial difficulties. Finally, he may take the cash back to the clerk, or he may pocket the money. Each says something different about John.
Oh, and when you are finished completing the scenario, start a new one for the next person.
Now, enough explaining, and let's give this activity a whirl. I won't use the one from above, and I'll create something new:
New Scenario: [Your Character] finds a smalll fuzzball, they pick it up in curiosity. What is it? What does [Your Character] do with it?

Vadessa sees it is a small fuzzy caterpillar. It will definitely get stepped on if she puts it back on the sidewalk. She walks over to the nearest bush and places Mr. or Mrs. caterpillar on an inside leaf then heads off to her appt.
She does not notice the guy across the street who's grocery bag has just ripped. His cans are rolling all over the sidewalk and into the street.

She hears the rattling of the cans and sees them heading toward the catepilars. She rushes over and stopps one just on time.

I tell the others to warn as many people as possible about the disaster and try to find someone to dismantle the bomb...

Name:Sade Age: 18 Gender: Male About him: A bit crazy, seeing as he watched his only love being murdered viciously, and he is an expert n swordsmanship. He has several 'Close Enimies' as he calls them, and plays with their minds by 'dying' and coming back to kill them slowly... Sade walks into a bar, just in time to see on the corner TV, an anouncement being made of the Bomb. He laughs crazily and watches others look suprised in his direction. "What do expect me to do, Whine? Beg? Cry?" He asks them with amusment printed on his laughing face, "The bomb is probably meant for me! Hahahahahaa......" Then as a way to pass the time, he blows up a parked car... N/S: [Your Character] is drunk. They litterally walk into a bar. Ouch. They swear, and there are little kids near-by. Wow. "Evil" is what they call you. What are you going to do to them?

Age: 21
Gender: Male
Info: After having a hellish day *both fired from his job and dumped by his girlfriend* Barnaky decides the best thing to to would be to drown his sorrows in alcohol...
Barnaky glares at the kids and slowly walks over to them... He stares at them with a cold look in his eyes and barks, "Hah! Evil you call me? I have always been the 'bad guy' in my life so such a thing does not phase me. Now, if you want to see evil, I can show you evil..." Barnaky brings back his hand and strikes one of the children... "Remember this.. Hitting a child.. That is evil... Swearing after having a horrible day... That is not.." Barnaky turns around and leaves the crying children...
NS: You witness Barnaky's actions... As he is walking away from you, what do you do?

Moogleboy13 NS: You witness Barnaky's actions... As he is walking away from you, what do you do? Hehe. Love it. Kada 6 Female She's a trouble maker in everyway. Her Mother is single, and her father was her mother's boyfriend, who was an abusive drunk. After they left him, her mom managed to find a nice house, along with a good job so as to sustain her daughter and herself. Kada was the child who Barnaky hit. She screamed; more in rage than of pain. She got up, and followed him. "I swear that he won't get away with both legs." she breathed heatedly A few blocks away, the man went into a store, and the girl laughed. it was her neighbors. She went in, and asked Barkany for some gum... he refused, not noticing that she was the girl he had hit. Barnaky was beginning to become sober, so he was acting a little more intelligent, and being a little less 'evil'. Kada started to bawl, and cry, and make a fuss. Barnaky didn't want to call any attention to himself - because he had stolen a few things- and agreed to buy her the gum. After following him some more, she managed to stick several pranks afore him- which he fell into willingly... N/S: A man was screaming rape. A woman 'came to the rescue' and realised that he was alone, and insane. Tell the story from the woman's point of view.

Info: A short, slim brown haired wanderer. Carries a sack filled with personal items and a sharp, deadly knife. Doesn't care when he dies and will sacrifice himself for the life of another...
Dhrazz sees the horrid event, grabs his knife, and charges the maniac... He jumps on the man's back and burries the blade into the man's skull... The nutjob ceases moving and falls to the ground. Dhrazz walks over and examines the person only to find them dead. Sighing, Dhrazz picks up his things and continues wandering...
NS: You witness what Dhrazz did trying to save another... What do you do?

Nephiros gets up from the ground, cracks his neck back and forth, and goes off to find more people to kill, soaked in blood and gore and whistling 'Total Slaughter.' NS: Your character sees a drunk guy passed out in the street in a puddle of his own vomit. What does your character do?

Megami-sama Littlespirit N/S: A man was screaming rape. A woman 'came to the rescue' and realised that he was alone, and insane. Tell the story from the woman's point of view.
Age: 17
Gender: Woman
Info: Short, medium lengthed red hair, dark blue eyes, and considered rather attractive by many of her coworkers and classmates. She had just finished her shift at work and was on her way to her car when she hears someone screaming. She goes to help, only to find it was a trap
Molly sees the insanity of the man and turn to run. The man tackles her to the ground and covers her mouth. "Now be real still and don't fight and this will all be over soon," the man growled as he had Molly pinned to the ground. Molly tries to scream out for help only to be hit by her attacker. Seeing as how she could not escape, she began to cry. After the ordeal was over, Molly staggered back to her car, sobbing. She was so distraught on her way home that she drove in front of an oncoming truck and her car was smashed. She died after a minute of clinging to the last threads over her life.
NS: You and a group of friends witness the car accident... What do you do?
