While in truth only a location created for the sake of the Hollow's attack on Soul Society, let us spice it up.
Located in the general middle of the Rukongai, The area actually spans a size of about 10 whole districts, from the 40th to the 50th. Quite the large span. But for a horde of approx. 150 rampaging hollows with no real opposition in the area on their way to the Seireitei, the size doesn't really matter. If anything, it looks like a big ******** buffet. Still, the large area is home to a large number of Pluses all trying to make it through their daily lives.

Hiroshi would appear onto the scene via shunpo, he would have landed on the tallest building within the Rukongai District as he looked down onto the busy streets of the Residental Area the wind would blow his hair back along with his white captain's cloak which was now loosened revealing his expensive Obi-sash made of silk, his eyes focused on the Wandering Soul City as if looking for something to indicate trouble. He wasn't hiding, he would let his Reiryoku Level roam freely, Its Intensity with a cold feeling to it. He was making sure everyone knew of his presence and that he was not playing games, It had been a long and boring time for Hiroshi as he longed for a fight, perhaps now he was getting what he wished for. He hadn't come here to play though, he was going to get his hands on whomever came out of the corner and Izuma had given him clearance which made him think about who or what he was going to be facing. If things were to get out of hand he would need to evacuate the city as to protect as many lives as people. His current mood was rare and only came out once in a blue-moon, his nature wasn't violent but an order was an order and he isn't one to disobey especially if it is as serious as Izuma made it seem. Something had troubled him and Hiroshi was just about to find out what or who it was. He would watch over the city with his hand on the Hilt of his beloved friend, Demon's Touch.
"Kill them all!!" she cried as she led the charge into the Rukongai from the opening of the Dangai. The former Sexta Espada, now Privaron, ordered on the Hollows following her. "For the Master..." she thought to herself as she watched the Hollows rampage forward, the screams of the Pluses a sweet music to her ears as it was to them all. Their prey was being hunted and slaughtered, the bloody tribute she wished to offer her new Master. That was all that mattered to her now, being of use, finally being of use, and serving the new Master. If only to know she was useful, to ensure she was not forgotten, she would do all she could. It was then that she sensed it, the high level energy that was radiating from a figure out in the distance in a nearby District. It was the foe she knew she'd have to face. "For the glory of the Hollows!!!" she roared as she launched herself out, drawing her zanpakutou to slash at the man at a diagonal across his left chest down to his right waist. Hiroshi would be looking out into the districts when a sudden scream from one of the busier streets emerged that caused a strange sensation within Hiroshi, his gut was telling him it was time. The busy souls that were too busy doing their daily tasks did not notice the lurking hollows as they sprang out of the Dangai, their awareness was not at fault, even as they tried to escape they were easily chased down and feasted on. The screams of terror and agony ran through the streets of the Rukongai District as did the stream of blood that came from the piling up corpses of the deceased pluses. He watched as the dangai opened and the hordes of Hollows crawled out, they were being lead it appeared by a tall figure, a woman it seemed. As the hordes of hollows lashed out at the scrambling citizens of the Rukongai District, he could not help them which angered him, It seemed that the rather tall female seemed to want to contest him, he wasn't having it. His hand would immediately move to his hilt of his beloved friend, Demon's Touch. As he grabbed It, he would swiftly draw it in reaction to the Female Arrancar's diagonal slash towards his torso as he drew his hand would move to deflect the incoming blow, As he looked at her she would be able to see the coldness within' his eyes. He wouldn't hesitate, she was the enemy and the aggressor in this case. He would end this swiftly and without mercy, In his mind this b*tch was attacking his home, It was also about time he had some action at last he would have blood on his hands once more.
Hiroshi would use a highly advanced shunpo technique called 'Senka' out from infront of her as the wind swept his Captain's Haori, he would appear directly behind the towering female as he grabbed his blade with two hands he would thrust it towards the unsuspecting victim's back simultaneously as he would swiftly use two techniques upon his opponent, "Saketsu'' and ''Hakusui'' by attempting to remove her powers, wanting to end this fight quickly. ''Too bad you won't live enough to see my true power..''
A delicate breeze blew through the 44th District of East Rukongai, kicking up a small cloud of dust as it drifted by. It was almost peaceful in a way… but that impression was dashed away almost instantly once the streets were flooded with blood-curdling screams of sheer terror. What before was a scene of serenity was now in a state of disarray, but before long an almost ethereal whisper was heard through the most heavily affected street, carried in the dust and wind. At first, it was incoherent, but when the melodic jingle of metal-on-metal sounded through the air, it became clear who had spoken, and soon the woman herself became visible at the end of the street, clad in her uniform of a white Captain’s haori on top of her red high-collar robe. The robe was buttoned just above her belly button, which left the top portion open and exposed Yulan’s modified Shihakusho underneath, though the only visible part of it were the two bands of vertical black cloth that covered her chest and left much of her torso exposed. The dragon tattoo on her chest was glowing softly with a shade of purple, an indication that she was using her spiritual energy.
The spell Yulan had chosen was a basic one taught in the Academy – Bakudō number 9, Geki. At her level, it was done effortlessly and with maximal effect as the small horde of attacking hollows were suddenly bathed in a red glow and rendered immobile, giving the innocent bystanders enough time to flee from the scene. Yulan stepped forward, her khakkhara staff jingling as she moved with a certain fluidity and grace that screamed of her noble upbringing. Her lips curled into a small frown as she examined the beasts that dared disrupt the peace of the Soul Society. It took a lot to draw the woman out of Seireitei and into the dirty streets of Rukongai, but where her home and the safety of the innocents were concerned, Yulan would stop at nothing to serve and protect. Without so much as blinking, Yulan banged her staff on the ground as she mumbled something under her breath. A fresh wave of anger was coursing through her veins now, and when the rattling of her staff stopped, the red glow turned into a soft blue glow that rapidly grew in intensity and size. The hollows cried out in what Yulan interpreted as pain, but the glow only grew brighter until individual rays of bright blue electricity shot upwards into the sky, revealing the Byakurai spell she had cast with a whisper. When the hollows were reduced to nothing, Yulan glided forward, an air of authority about her as she walked. Her work was not done… more and more hollow were pouring from the Dangai, and those that had already landed were tearing through this district and the other areas of Rukongai. She could sense the spiritual pressure of a Captain in the vicinity one or two districts away, and judging from the flux in his spiritual pressure Yulan deduced that they, too, were locked in a combat situation. ”Not today… this will be as far as any of you go. Hado #33, Sōkatsui!” A torrent of blue spiritual energy tore down the street, threatening to destroy any and all enemies not fast enough to evade.

"?! Hut!""He's fast!" she thought a split second before a fluid turn and twirl of her blade, redirecting the captain's blade instead of using pure force to stop it, swinging it out of the way. But this created an opening, one the Privaron was skilled enough to exploit, and so she brought her blade down center and lunged forward to impale the man on her blade. He'd wasted no time in attacking her, breathing not even a word. And what's more he tried to kill her right then and there! The b*****d! She had to admit, though, she admired the fierceness of it. It was rather Hollow-like. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at him.
Meanwhile, elsewhere a small group of Hollows, 4 Hollows and 1 Arrancar were immobilized before near effortlessly being annihilated by a Captain Level Hado spell at maximum power. And another 4 died thereafter as the blue flame energy mass blasted through the group an on before dissipating. But this was but 9 of 100, and all would certainly not die so easily. The Hollows continued to rampage in the other districts, essentially unimpeded by the lack of spiritually capable beings. It was a feast, and they were wreaking havoc. One such Hollow even thought, in its mindless stupidity, that it could lunge at the Captain from where it was to his left in the hopes of a nice snack.

Don't worry, I know you may not be able to post. No pressure. I wouldn't** have you go suddenly die. xP (I'd meant to say I **Wouldn't** have you suddenly go die >.<)
Mario was doing his usual patrol around the area, making sure the elderly were okay and the kids stayed out of trouble. As he was making sure everything was okay he heard a scream in another area. He sensed that there was a large amount of Hollows in the area he decided to hide his Reiryoku Level as he stepped onto the scene. He managed to stop a Hollow that tried to attack a little girl, then he picked her up and carried her to safety. "Everyone get out of here and get to safety!" He hacked and slashed at the Hollow he attacked earlier until he created perished. He realized that he alone wasn't enough to save these people it was time to bring in the king. "Show them what you got!" As he uttered those words his golden brown reiastu enveloped his body, Azul was changed into its Release State. Now Mario was ready for a fight he launched his polearm and impaled a Hollow he pulled it out so he could attack more. He ran up the building to save two more children and dropped them off at a safe place. He watched as a woman attacked the Squad Eight captain and noticed that he was about to get blind-sided so he launched his polearm at the creeping Hollow. Then, he ran as fast as he could to it, ducking and kicking any Hollow that tried to attack him. "I got your back, now do you have any idea of what's going on!?"

The young unseated Shinigami wouldn't have time to receive an answer. Still fresh and new with his zanpakuto, he could hardly handle the horde alone, but so had he thrown himself into its midst. A street over a woman screamed as a Hollow stepped on her and pinned her down before tearing the whole of her upper body from the rest of her form with its toothy maw before releasing a roar. But Mario wouldn't be allowed to focus on that as another Hollow but a few meters ahead saw him and charged. It was much like a centipede, though far more deadly, with sharp forelegs raised for spearing and impaling. Just to the side, on top of another building, however, sat another Hollow. And this one was stronger. Watching, it waited for the moment to strike.

When I'd said tone it done and follow the other captains' lead I'd mean reduce the number of kills in that post >.< Remember to play to your rank and to make a note of how many Hollows you kill at the bottom of each post.
Mario turns around to see the charging centipede Hollow coming towards him, he had to act quickly or else he could get stabbed by one of those forelegs. He grabbed his polearm and began to charge at it. The tip of Azul was far ahead of him so the Hollow would be impaled before its forelegs could touch him. This could do a lot of damage if it hits the right spot, hopefully this Hollow wasn't smart enough to move out of the way.
Yulan watched as the dazzling blues of her spell faded into the air, kicking up a slight breeze in the immediate area as the atmosphere attempted to restore some form of equilibrium. Yet when the smoke and dust had cleared, the woman couldn’t help but to realize just how little of a dent she’d managed to make in the overall attempt at defending Rukongai. Frustration was beginning to well up within her, yet she kept a tight rein on her emotional state, knowing better than to let her anger get the best of her. She took a step forward, only to stop with mere inches to spare as a hollow came rushing at her from the left. ”Seki…” She recited the second she felt something was amiss. The hollow came in contact with Yulan’s little blue orb, sending it some ten feet away before crash landing into a building.
The woman flash stepped, appearing at the door of the half-destroyed building. For a moment, all was quiet, yet with virtually no time to waste Yulan pointed a finger at the Hollow. ”Byakurai.” and with that, the beast was no more.
The cries of a plus drew Yulan’s attention elsewhere – a neighboring street in some district she wasn’t too familiar with. In truth, Yulan wasn’t quite familiar with any of the districts past 5, this was the first journey she’d taken outside of the norm, though she was sure it would leave a lasting impression nonetheless. She arrived on a rooftop just short of seeing a hollow devouring the poor woman. There was nothing she could do to save the Plus’s life – the damage was beyond repair, even by her means. Instead, Yulan sent a blue lightning bolt from her finger tip once again, catching the feasting hollow by surprise as the spell tore a hole straight through its mask.
As she prepared to patrol that section of Rukongai, another hollow came into her sights. It appeared to be some sort of centipede-like thing, as ugly as the rest of them, yet to her surprise the centipede was charging at a young Shinigami – one she’d never seen before, but dressed in the Shihakusho and wielding a polearm. She watched intently as the boy readied his weapon, aiming to skewer the centipede hollow albeit foolishly as she could immediately see the flaw in his tactic. The potential risk that could arise from the hollow evading the attack and countering seemed too high for her, and after weighing the possible outcomes, the woman decided to step in and assist the young Shinigami, whether he needed her help or not. ”Geki…” The familiar red glow enveloped the hollow, causing it to suddenly snap into a rigid position, just in time for Mario to drive his polearm in. When all was done and over with, the Captain jumped from her perch on the rooftop, gracefully landing several feet away from the boy. Her golden staff rang melodically as she adjusted herself to the new ground. "Careful... a lot of hollows are more dangerous than they appear." She told him softly in an advisory manner. "Where's your Captain? Did they give you orders to patrol the streets alone?"

Appearing instantly seemingly from no where.Lloyd is now seen sitting on top of a roof, his massive zanpakutou resting on his right shoulder. he watched as two captains and one other shinigami do battle with the horde. he wouldn't even attempt to help them, he was here purely to observe their actions. shortly after appearing a couple hollows would take notice of him and move in closer, however when they got within 10 ft of Lloyd they would stop and come no further. It was unclear why they stopped where they did, perhaps they were afraid or maybe it was due to his immense spiritual energy. his spiritual pressure was also a bit over bearing for those of lower energies. his eyes the gazed to the female Captain and the young shinigami male. He cloud tell that they were a bit overwhelmed and decided that he would offer them the opportunity to make use of his abilities if they asked.
"You two shouldn't doddle...........they are many enemies.. "
Lloyd offered these few words as he stood up. as he did this the few hollows that surrounded him took a few steps back, but maintained visual contact with him.
The patient waited until the moment to strike, when the captain level Shinigami and they boy were too busy talking as the boy impaled another Hollow. Swooping forward, like a menacing demon hawk, the Adjuchas shot for the boy first, razor sharp talons aimed to carry the boy away and rend the flesh from his bones, its powerful downbeat the intended buffer and distraction for the woman to keep her from its prey. And it was not alone.
The problem with being powerful was that there were some who wanted that power for themselves, to consume it. And for the 5 dumb Hollow behind Lloyd, that was exactly the case. Unlike the others who were held at by by unknown means, the other five, which had banded together for just this purpose, roared as they attacked. And each one was of Adjuchas class. They wanted in, in on the feast of their lives. One a snake, another a mantis, a third a brutish sort of tusked beast, and the last two lanky spiny sorts of Hollows whose weapons were clearly their sharp appendages. The two spiny Hollow attacked first with the mantis, leaving the other two to follow up behind...

Lloyd felt the presence of the five now attacking hollows. it was bond to happen, however Lloyd didn't think it would happen so soon. with a lifeless expression, Lloyd moves his zanpakutou to the right side of his body and grips it with both hands as he turns to face his attackers. he moves the blade horizontally to the right of his body till the massive blade was behind him self and with one mighty swing, he moved it from his back past his right side and finally to the left of his body sending a pale white, wide crescent moon shaped wave of energy towards the five attacking hollows.
"i didn't say i wanted to play with you....."
Lloyd said calmly as he let go if the hilt with his right hand, but still holding on to it with his left hand. he raised his right palm towards the five hollows and followed up with a kido aimed for the most centered one in their group.
"Senjū Kōten Taihō......."
With those cold words, out from Lloyd's palm came several spears of light. they all head for the most centered hollow and upon impact they would explode and hopefully take out the others around it.Lloyd remained calm and showed nothing but a cold gaze.
"Well I would love to talk, but there are some powerful Hollows coming at us." Yes, Mario was here on his own and he didn't have any orders, but he was here to help. However, those Hollows were coming fast and coming to him, just his luck right? Well time to bust out the weapon telekinesis; he puts down his zanpakutou, breathes slowly, and focuses his energy on it causing it to float. His zanpakutou leviatates five feet in front of him and begins to spins slowly at first, then it picks up speed. As his polearm is spinning at top speed, Mario launches it at the Adjuchas. Hopefully, that would take a few out and if they dodged it, he could easily send flying right back to him.
