[Born into Poverty. Aster has had to work hard to achieve the finer things in life.
When she were but an infant she was raised by friends. Aster was highly disliked by her parents.
Only one of Asters parents is however still alive. A large number of Asters friends and relatives died in a Titan attack. The full extent of this disaster left Aster with both physical and mental scars. She now has an appreciation for knowing when to fight and when not to. At times, she counsels others to step away from a tough battle and use guile to win through it.
Aster Has extensive contact with the military, for good or evil, and puts great faith in the need for order and discipline. The character's belief extends into her home life and her relationships, making her something of a controlling figure. As she has been disfigured, the scar acts as a constant reminder of that grim happening.
She has through her military pursuits played a critical role in helping prevent deadly circumstances from becoming worse than they could have been. Although she didn't succeed in averting all deaths or calamities, her work has left those involved grateful to her. Aster was Scouting when her party was attacked by a Titan. This attack killed several of those who would ordinarily take charge and defend, changing Aster's fear to determination to protect the downed ones. With the help of another, she brought down the Titan. This exposure to possible death left Aster very aware of most people's tenuous link to life. Now she may seem prepared for every eventuality or merely determined to allow everyone to have a chance to live.
