Likes: Women, Archery, the people, his city, trick arrows (some of them are quite useful) sports (especially ones that depend on an individuals skill, such as archery, golf, etc.), the Vigilante life, competitions (as Head of a Company and as the Green Arrow, it keeps his mind sharp in both occasions).
Dreams: Jonathan has two goals: to be known as the greatest archer in the world and prove himself worthy of Oliver Green's legacy, and to make his company one of the greatest in the world.

Darkest Secret: His first outing as the Green Lantern was a failure: he failed to prevent a robbery from occurring and tried to chase down the criminal responsible, killing the man when he was only trying to stop him. He almost gave up on crime fighting until he heard about the Green Arrow disappearinf on TV. An epiphany struck him and he decided to work harder to be as good, if not better than Oliver. But despite this, he still has that gnawing fear of failure, that he would ******** up like his did in his first outing.

Intelligence Level: Despite Jonathan's goofy tendencies, the man's pretty smart. He possesses a bachelors in Business Management, and has taught himself other fields of study, including Criminology, Chemistry, and Computer Technology. Though some if it could be attributed to Oliver's past experiences manifesting as epiphanies. If we're going to put a number here, His I.Q. would he at around 146
Dominant Hand: Right
Strengths: The guy is a sure shot with a bow, whether it's his own custom made bow or one he just happens to pick up out of d**k's Sporting Goods.

But just because he focuses on shooting people with a bow, doesn't mean he sucks at melee. He has martial arts skills, including a black belt in judo, tae kwon do, and muay thai, and knows his way around a sword (incidentally, he prefers European blades). To also drive home the similarities to Oliver Queen and his inspiration, Robin Hood, Jonathan is also pretty skilled with a staff. He is also an accomplished acrobat.

His biggest weapons though are not physical tools. They are his sharp wit and his mouth. He is extremely good with tactics and can coordinate himself pretty well with other heroes, sometimes even take command and direct tasks based on his and his allies skillsets. He is also very good at the ways of quipping. He always has a witty comeback or one liner which serves a dual purpose: it boosts his confidence while at the same time, angering the opponent.

Weaknesses: Though he has trained in similar skills as Batman (and whoever holds his legacy), he's not as dedicated to those fields, preferring his archery skills.

As much as he is well versed in Trash Talk, it can get him in trouble if he uses it on the wrong person without preparations. Like Black Adam.

He also a crippling fear of clowns because of an episode of his early life he doesn't want to talk about.

But Jonathan's greatest weakness is his fear of failure. He will do everything in his power to succeed in both his civilian and vigilante duties, even if it puts his own life at risk.
Cherished Items:

Oliver Queen's Bow: When the original Green Arrow disappeared, Jonathan found the possessions he left behind. One of these was his bow. Having already been an archer before putting on the hood, this was what inspired Jonathan to continue Green's legacy.

Oliver's Quiver and Gimmick Arrows: Another of Oliver Green's possessions is his quiver and a set of his gimmick arrows. Although Jonathan has since created his own, he keeps them in a case like they are museum pieces, especially the infamous boxing glove arrow, which he finds especially funny.

Philosophical/ Social Viewpoint: Jonathan believes that those with great skill, money, or both, should do whatever they can to use what they have to better society. It's what drove him to continue Oliver's legacy as the Green Arrow: he possesses both.

He also believes that it's his responsibility to do whatever he can to not kill the criminals he apprehends. This is due to the idealistic view that they can be swayed away from the criminal life and be model citizens again.

Religious Viewpoint: He keeps religion separate from his dealings as the Green Arrow. As Jonathan Price, he is considered to be a devout Christian.

Romantic Viewpoint: It sucks to be a hero sometimes. Everyone you think you are in love with tends to be targeted by your enemies. Even so, this doesn't really stop Jonathan from making more than a few passes at women.

If he ever does find love, he wants to be damn sure they can hold their own against any evil forces after them.

Personality
Jonathan is a complex guy. He’s witty, smart, and extremely cunning, the kind of guy you wouldn’t want as an enemy. He’s confident in himself and his abilities and will do his best not to let emotions cloud his judgment, but knows when a challenge is beyond his individual capabilities and thus will seek help. A born leader, he is the most likely person you can count on to take charge of a situation, to come up with the winning plan, and to lead a fight. You can also count on him to be the most selfless, loving, caring man you will ever know.

For all of his strengths though, he has more than a few flaws. He can be quite hot-blooded when he feels someone he cares about is threatened, one of the few times his emotions will cloud his judgment of a situation. He is also the kind of guy that will do everything he can to not fail and if he does fail, he will go into a deep depression because of it. Also, he tends to hole himself up in his lair if he either needs to train or has an idea for a new gadget. Having blood on his hands because he killed a man that he didn’t mean to kill, he’s the kind of guy that will not kill if it is in anyways possible, only resorting to lethal force as a last resort.
Biography
Jonathan Price was a middle class boy growing up in the suburbs of Coast City. As a kid, Jonathan didn't really care much for all the troubles in the world, as he was more worried about getting through school, going to college, and getting a good, well paying job. The only superhero he actually idolized was the Green Arrow, and it was his skill in archery that inspired Jonathan to take classes in the use of the bow. But otherwise, to say the boy turned a blind eye to the troubles of Coast City would be a big understatement.

Then things went terribly wrong in Coast City during Jonathan's freshman year at UCCC. In the wake of Hal Jordan's disappearance, the crime rate was skyrocketing, and after hearing about his sister getting robbed, Jonathan was finally motivated to do something about it. Fashioning a makeshift Green Arrow Costume, Jonathan took to the streets to fight crime in his neighborhood. But a botched robbery bust had him make the biggest mistake in his life: he accidentally killed the criminal he was chasing after failing to prevent the robbery.

Grief stricken, Jonathan almost gave up on his crimefighting idea, until he witnessed his idol disappear on the 6 o'clock news. An epiphany struck him then. To become a better crime fighter, he must train harder to be worthy of the mantle. The Green Arrow wouldn't of given up so easily. So he intensified his training, night and day, in archery, martial arts, everything he figured he needed to become a crimefighter like his idol. He studied hard, training himself in both body and mind until he graduated at the age of 22.

Flash forward a couple years, and he returned as the New Green Arrow. He founded Price Industries, a rapidly growing company specializing in computer technology, and crime rate was slowly going down thanks to Jonathan's actions. And he was only just getting started.

+ Before Nathaniel's Reign of Fear began, Jonathan met the first of what he would consider the Legacy Initiative, Abdi, the Martian Manhunter. After talking with him about the potential for a new Justice League. Immediately after their meeting, he happened upon an injured British Heroine fighting for her life. After saving her and taking her home, the heroine, known as Evie Sinclair, became his roommate in his Seaside Home.

Almost immediately after, they were called to go to Gotham City for a Business meeting with the man who inherited Bruce Wayne's fortune and legacy. Along the way, he and Evie fought a few criminals in Gotham before meeting Mike El, otherwise known as Superboy, and Abdi coming to them from Metropolis. They talked about developments in Metropolis, mainly centered around a Yellow Lantern that was making trouble and potentially setting up for a war in the near future. This was also where he developed a slight jealousy for Mike-El due to him being Superboy and the way his appearance made Evie act all fangirl on him. But she was tired, and Jonathan suggested they continue talking in Coast City. So while Mike El carried Evie, Jonathan was carried by Abdi.

Returning to Coast City, Mike-El handed Evie over to Jonathan and he took her up to her room. She was in the grips of a nightmare and unknown to Jonathan, the small display of affection he gave her: a kiss on her forehead, gave her the strength to fight the nightmare. Returning outside, he was greeted by Wonderboy, otherwise known as Damien Prince, and after they talked about going up to the Watchtower and thinking about formulating a new Justice League, they went their separate ways for now.

The next day, the Yellow Lantern, known as Nathaniel Grant, made his declaration of war on the United States. Both Evie and Jonathan discussed what could potentially happen and they agreed that if Nathaniel were to attack, he would be were the bulk of his forces were. Since he had the Atlantean Army allied with him, they would come by sea, and that meant he was coming to Coast City. Jonathan knew his limits, he was not equipped to deal with a Lantern. So he asked Evie to get him to Metropolis as his friend, Taliana, was there and he had to make sure she was safe. Evie agreed, and she got him there, but not until he accidentally took a journey through her memories and she hugged him, begging for him to be safe.

In Metropolis, he immediately called Taliana to inform her he was there and she should be safe, not knowing she was already on the battlefield as Nightingale. With his bow, trick arrows, and his own wit and cunning, he set out to fight among gods.

His entrance was silent, his first few actions were mainly as support, shooting a boy out of a tree because he looked suspicious. Suddenly, he met a rather rude, but incredibly skilled Englishman named Alan Cypher, and after dousing his weapons with holy water, Alan shared with him and a couple other about a plan to defeat the main threat of Metropolis: Black Adam. His main job was distracting him while he was fighting Superboy and Wonderboy, and he did it in his own way: disrespecting the self proclaimed God. If it wasn't for the magic ring Alan gave him for protection, Jonathan would of died from an exploding bus.

The last few minutes of the invasion though, Jonathan's fear of failing came down hard when several of his own exploding arrows, instead of hitting Black Adam, hit Wonderboy. Grief took over as he crumpled in front of the Amazon, cursing himself for failing again. But after encouraging words (and a backhand from Alan), he pulled himself together enough to take on the task of leading the heroes of Metropolis with cleanup.

Friends:
Taliana Lance | Legacy Initiative | Close Friends

Relationship Explanation: Taliana was Jonathan's close friend ever since they were kids, but when they got into college, Jonathan become a bit distant from her. He had no idea she inherited the Legacy of Oliver's Lover, the Black Canary, nor does she have a clue about his identity as the Green Arrow.

Evie Sinclair//Good//Friend/Maybe something more

Relationship Explanation: He saved Evie in an alleyway from a bunch of thugs and took her in as a roommate. They quickly became good friends, but there may be something more between him and the British knight. He's still trying to come to terms with his feelings when it comes to her: is she just a friend, or does he potentially like her, or even love her?

Mike-El (Superboy)//Legacy Initiative//Friend

Jonathan met Mike-El in Gotham City, and Jonathan respects the Kryptonian for the fact he possesses a lot of power and has the values his father has. However, Jonathan does have a bit of jealously towards Superboy because of who he is. How can you do any better than the Man of Steel?

Damien Prince (Wonderboy)//Legacy Initiative//Friend

Relationship Explanation: After Damien came in like a wrecking ball (or more like a meteor), Jonathan met the Amazon at his Seaside Home. He likes Damien and respects him for his strength, just like Mike-El. Jonathan does like to joke about the fact that he comes from what a majority of men would call paradise (in more ways than one).

Alan Cypher//Legacy Initiative//Acquaintance

Relationship Explanation: He fought side by side with the much older man in Metropolis, and although he works well with Alan, Jonathan dislikes the man because of his abrasive attitude. Still, aside from that, Alan fills in the knowledge gap Jonathan doesn't possess, as Jonathan is not as knowledgeable of magic and the occult.

Enemies:
Black Adam | Evil | Enemy

Relationship Explanation: Jonathan targeted Black Adam as the biggest threat to Metropolis, and with the help of Alan Cypher, Superboy, Wonderboy, and Alistair, they all tried to take him down. Jonathan dislike Black Adam because 1) He's killed many innocent people and 2) He basically tramples over Jonathan's religious beliefs with his presence.

So throughout the battle, Jonathan showed him maximum disrespect, making him mortal enemies with the former Chosen of Shazam.

[Weapon Information]

Jonathan's Bow: After his first couple of outings as the Green Arrow, and subsequent soul searching, Jonathan created his own version of Oliver's bow. With similar perimeters as Oliver's, the only difference between the two is the shade of green, with Jonathan's being more of a forest green color, and the fact he has controls on his bow to rotate the quiver to pick out which arrowhead he needs. It also came with a detachable sniper scope, in case Jonathan had to make a really long range shot.

Jonathan's Quiver and Arrows: This is what separates him from the original. His quiver has a more high tech feel to it. Completely mechanical, operated by controls on his bow, Jonathan can switch arrowheads at will to suit whatever task was needed. The maximum capacity the quiver can hold is about 75 arrows, and he always has on hand standard, explosive, and zipline arrows, along with (as a homage to Oliver) one infamous boxing glove arrow, which is housed in a special section of the quiver labeled "Emergency Use Only". Other arrows Jonathan may have on his person include:

Quick Drying Foam Cement Arrow: When you just have to restrain somebody, the arrowhead is more like a cylinder that, when it reaches the target, explodes and coats the foe in a foam that hardens into cement, basically rooting them in place.

Flash Grenade Arrow: This is a customized trick arrow equipped with an incendiary tip. It is one of several gimmick weapons utilized by the heroic archer known as Green Arrow.

Greek Fire Arrow: This was a customized trick arrow equipped with a tip that could inject a perpetually burning stream of fluid into a target. It was one of several gimmick weapons utilized by the heroic archer known as Green Arrow.

Laser Guided Arrow: Utilizing a small laser attached to his glasses, Jonathan can turn one of his arrows into a guiding arrow that will unerringly follow whatever he tagged with the laser on his glasses. He usually only uses these when he needs something to explode without risking himself. This is a specially made arrow as it has little engines attached to propel the arrow farther.

Cluster Arrow: Though it looks like a large cylinder with fletching, this is actually one of Jonathan's finest creations. Usually fired in a high arc, at the zenith of the arrow's ascent, the casing splits open, reveal multiple arrows stored within. Most of the time they are either standard arrows or explosive arrows meant to either corral a target to somewhere he wants them to go or to blow up something that one normal explosive arrow can't do. He has to carry this special arrow separately, as the total package is too big to fit in his quiver. One Cluster Arrow equals 6 standard or explosive arrows.

+ ○ Caltrop Arrow: A hollow shaft and cylindrical arrowhead, filled with many tiny beads. When the arrow impacts a surface, doors on the arrowhead open, spilling the beads on the floor. The arrowhead sends a spark through the ground, which activates the beads, which then sprout many small spikes. Caltrops are meant to hobble an opponent by piercing through their feet, making walking or running difficult.

Canary Cry Arrow: Using the technology that went to making Black Canary's Canary Cry Bombs (which she used when her Canary Cry was rendered unusable), Jonathan made these arrows which replicate the same piercing sound. Although he will not share how he got a hold of the technology.

Oil Slick Arrow: Basically an arrow with a container of an oily substance as the arrowhead, when their arrow is fired into the ground, the casing splits open, spilling out the oily contents that makes the terrain around the spill very slippery to walk on. The substance is flammable.

Tranquilizer Arrow: A tranquilizer dart as an arrowhead, it is usually filled with enough sedative to knock out a human.

Knockout Gas Arrow: An arrow with a slit at the end. When it hits a wall, it releases gas that will knockout nearly anyone that breathes it in, unless they wear a gas mask, or is immune to such effects.

Lightning Rod Arrow: After a battle with Black Adam, Jonathan realized he needed something to protect himself from his lightning. It's purpose is protective: he sticks it into the ground, when lightning strikes the arrow, all the energy goes into a battery inside the arrow instead of the ground or into him. Once charged he can use the arrow as a powerful projectile. Once fired, the arrowhead opens up and discharges the energy into the target, like a supercharged taser. Said arrow can only hold a charge for 5 posts before needing recharged.

Ultraviolet Arrow: A special arrow used to harm vampires and other creatures of the night, it is basically an arrow with a glowing arrowhead. The glow is ultraviolet light, harmful to vampires and other undead and potentially lethal if it hits the target.

Other Weapons and Equipment:

GA-2 Goggles: In the week since Reign of Fear, and after his old pair of sunglasses broke during a fight against a particularly strong criminal, Jonathan had make a new pair of goggles as an upgrade to his old sunglasses. These new goggles helps to protect his identity even better than his sunglasses could, especially in combination with his signature hood. Made out of ultralight and strong materials with a bit of titanium, the goggles are almost guaranteed not to break. They comes with infrared and night vision modes, enhanced zoom for long range sniping, wind direction and speed sensors, auditory sensors and earplugs (to protect his ears against his own trick arrows), and sonar. The small laser that was on his old sunglasses is on these goggles. The lens are also able to go completely black to protect his eyes against flashbangs. It also had a couple of defensive mechanisms in case anyone tries to take it off. Anyone that tries to pick up the goggles will be shocked and if anyone tries to use the goggles, it will automatically shutdown if Jonathan Price is not the one operating it.


[Ability Information]


Acrobatics: Jonathan is an expert in acrobatics, and often uses this skill while evading enemy fire. His skill in this area is almost as good as Oliver himself.

Archery: Jonathan was a good archer before he realized his Legacy, but once he trained himself past his limits and inherited Queen's legacy, he became an archer of almost no equal. He has done at least a couple of Oliver's famous tricks, including slicing a water drop as it leaves the tap, shoving an arrow down a gun barrel, split an arrow in two, and knock coins of various sizes out of the air.

Chemistry: Jonathan creates his own arrows, even the ones that require complex chemistry, such as his quick drying cement arrows, explosive arrows, Greek Fire arrows, and others.

Electronics: Jonathan is at least skilled enough in this field to upgrade his sunglasses with nightvision and heatvision while also installing a small laser guidance system.

Cooking: Among many of the things he has inherited from the Green Arrows legacy is his ability to cook. He even knows how to make Oliver's infamous chili.

Martial Arts: He is no slouch in close combat, possessing knowledge in Judo, Muay Thai, and Taekwondo, among other styles. Though not quite up to Batman levels of proficiency, Jonathan can hold his own against even some of the deadliest masters.

Hunting: Inherited from Oliver's Legacy, Jonathan is a very patient and cunning hunter. He supplements his hunting prowess with his criminology background, so that he would be proficient in hunting the deadliest game: Man, specifically criminals.

Swordsmanship: Jonathan also knows how to wield a sword, though he prefers sword that are of European design.

Staff Wielding: Another thing he differs from Oliver is his ability to proficiently wield a staff, after reading about the legends of Robin Hood, who was also Oliver's inspiration.


[Weakness Information]


Human Conditioning: No matter how hard he trains, he's still human, still mortal, and can die if wounded fatally.

Fear of Clowns: He also has a fear of clowns due to an incident in his childhood he would prefer not to talk about.

Fear of Failing Again: But his biggest weakness is his fear of failure. He worked hard to live up to the legacy he inherited, and fears failing to uphold Oliver's deeds.

Trash Talking: Although he can make people incredibly mad with his trash talking, sometimes he can take it too far and get himself hurt by the now angry opposition.

Likes: Horror Movies, Video Games, the Military, being Sinestro Corps
Dreams: Prove to Sinestro that he is his best soldier. His other goal is to demoralize Ian Wickas so he'll regret being a Green Lantern. And if that doesn't do the trick, he'll kill him.

This doesn't mean he does not try to follow the Sinestro's Corps overarching goal: the rule the universe through fear.
Dislikes: Ian Wickas and any Green Lantern, anything about Afghanistan, the Taliban, or terrorism in general.
Fears: Fear? Nathaniel controls fear! If there is one person he fears though, it's Sinestro and he does not want to fail Sinestro, no matter what.
Darkest Secret: To Nathaniel, his darkest secret was he could have been a Green Lantern and was actually right in Metropolis when Earth's Green Lanterns began disappearing. But when Hal Jordan finally disappeared, he thought willpower ultimately lost to fear, so he embraced what he believed was the stronger emotion and became Sinestro Corps.

Intelligence Level: Nathaniel's a smart guy, he knows how to make people sweat. He is also has knowledge about various weapons and vehicles of the Army, loves horror movies, and can be a brilliant tactician who will use his Power Ring to it's fullest extent. His IQ would be at about 126.
Dominant Hand: Left handed
Strengths: Nathaniel is an Army Captain, so even without his ring, he's dangerous at close combat. He can instill great fear by either brute force or by torture, and he is very, very stubborn in his cause, which ironically would make him a pretty good Green Lantern.
Weaknesses: Nathaniel is arrogant, and thoroughly believes fear is better than willpower. He will underestimate his foes, sometimes it's justified, but other times it can bite him in the a**.

He also has a case of PTSD, which manifests as disturbing flashbacks to his time in Afghanistan, which usually comes around when anyone mentions Afghanistan, the Taliban, or terrorism in general. Though he has taken medication to hold them back, sometimes they still come up at bad times.


Cherished Items:
His Sinestro Corps ring, as a reminder to his cause.
The dog tags of his fallen troops, which he keeps on a chain around his neck, as a reminder of their sacrifice in Afghanistan.

Philosophical/ Social Viewpoint: Fear leads to control, and control equals peace. Sinestro was right all along.

Religious Viewpoint: Nathaniel isn't big on religion, especially after his time in Afghanistan.

Romantic Viewpoint: Nathaniel is unmarried, and probably will stay that way. He isn't ready to settle down.


Personality
Nathaniel is arrogant, believing himself to be better than the Green Lanterns. After all, there had to be a reason why Sinestro, the Green Lantern Corps greatest enemy, had a power ring choose him right? He is also harsh, cruel, and intimidating, yet smart, tactically savvy, and for the most part, fearless (except when it comes to Sinestro). His military training has made him take no nonsense, which means at times, especially when he's focused on his mission, he can be pretty humorless. Just don't mention anything about Afghanistan, the Taliban, or terrorism in general, as it will bring a fierce rage.

But despite his negative traits, he does have some hidden depths. He would prefer not to kill his opponent, especially if they prove to be a worthy opponent to him. This conflicts with his orders by Sinestro, which is to kill the Green Lantern of Sector 2814. He also wants to prove to Sinestro that despite his racism towards humans, some humans are worthy to be in his Corps.

Biography

An Army Brat born in Central City, he moved around everywhere in the US due to his father getting new orders to go to a different base. As such, Nathaniel wasn't able to make many friends. Bullied in elementary school, when he went into middle school, he decided to strike back. His numerous fights made him feared in his school, got him into a lot of trouble, and worried his father.

After he graduated, Nathniel spent a couple of years in college before he went into the Army. The Army helped discipline the young man and his college degree helped him to become an Officer. He was a pretty brutal officer, often terrifying his troops into performing great things. He served two tours in Afghanistan, but a terrible incident cut his time in active duty short.

He was leading his troops on a routine patrol through the mountains when they were ambushed by Taliban forces. Though his troops fought valiantly under his leadership, they were outnumbered and were dying fast. Helpless, Nathaniel was forced to save as many of his troops as he can and evacuate. To this day, he doesn't know exactly how he survived the attack, but it a permanent mark on his psyche and he was honorably discharged and sent back home.

He was there in Metropolis when Sinestro and the original Green Lanterns of Earth had their final battle. Now a construction worker, hopeless, plagued by bad memories, and knowing what it was like to be truly afraid, he was one of many who raised his hand high and embraced Sinestro's power, not wanting to let fear control him anymore. When Green and Yellow had their climatic battle, Nathaniel was among those who fought against the Green Lanterns, and was an eyewitness to the four of them disappearing one by one. Believing that fear won against willpower, he fully embraced the Yellow Light and became a full fledged member, the first human to be officially inducted into the Sinestro Corps.

"Nathaniel Grant of Earth. You have the ability to instill great fear. Welcome to the Sinestro Corps."

With his new ring, Nathaniel was taken immediately to the planet Qward, where he underwent brutal psychological and physical reconditioning. With Arkillo has his Drill Sargent, Nathaniel was put through the most horrifying training in his life, knowing that if he failed, he was as good as dead. Afterwards, Lyssa Drak oversaw his entrance into the Fear Lodge: with a power ring drained of any power, the recruit must enter into a shell and sealed in complete darkness, where they must learn to accept their greatest fear, causing the power ring to spark and opening the shell. The process was not always successful: some failed because they were unable to open the lodge, and died of starvation and thirst. Others were driven mad by their fears and killed themselves.

For Nathaniel, his greatest fear was failure, but not failure in general, but failure to his new General, Sinestro. He was beaten throughly by the phantom Sinestro and was just about to have the ring taken away from him, all the while he was berated as a failure to the Corps and to his disgusting race. At the last moment, just when his ring was about to be pulled off his finger, Nathaniel forced him back and solemnly swore:

'It's my ring as long as I can wield it properly in your name, but the moment I fail, you can take my hand, and the ring attached to it'.'

With that, his ring sparked, and the shell opened, and Nathaniel was officially in the Sinestro Corps. Sinestro, satisfied that he was thoroughly conditioned, sent him back to Earth with one mission: kill the Green Lantern of Sector 2814.

But can the Sinestro Corps first Human member follow through with this mission?

[Weapon Information]


Yellow Power Ring: When the Guardians of the Universe discovered that Sinestro, the Green Lantern of Sector 1417, had used his ring to take control of his homeworld of Korugar, the Guardians expelled Sinestro from the Green Lantern Corps and banished him to the planet Qward in the Antimatter Universe. On Qward, Sinestro met the Weaponers of Qward, and told them of the Yellow impurity, how the Green Lantern Rings could not affect anything colored yellow. Having been working on a weapon similar to the power rings for several millennia, the Weaponers of Qward developed the Yellow Power Ring, designed to project yellow energy and and take advantage of the Green Lanterns weakness.

With the establishment of the Sinestro Corps, those who are given membership in the organization are given a Yellow Power Ring and Yellow Power Battery, which is connected to the Yellow Lantern Central Power Battery on Qward.

Yellow Power Battery: The Power Battery is the source of energy for a Sinestro Corpsman's ring, and as such is a vital possession for a Corpsman.

Each Sinestro Corpsman has a Power Battery shaped like an old fashioned lantern, which they can use to recharge their ring. These smaller Power Batteries are linked to the Yellow Lantern Central Power Battery on Qward, the source of their power. Unlike the ring, Power Batteries do not need to be recharged.

The power batteries of the individual Sinestro Corps are carried in the Manhunters.


[Ability Information]


Yellow Energy Conduit: The rings use yellow energy, supplied by a Power Battery, which in most cases takes the form of yellow light. Yellow Power rings, considered by some to be one of the most powerful weapons in the known universe, has the ability to affect and use fundamental forces of the known universe, including electromagnetic energies such as gravity, radiation, heat, light, and powerful blasts of concussive force. It is also theorized that the ring also has a basis in other dimensional energies commonly called magic by users of such energies. The ring can also create fields of force formed from an unknown energy that was bound by the users' will. The limitations of such use are the skill, knowledge and imagination of the user.

Energy Blasts: The ring can be used to fire blasts of yellow energy or create weapons such as projectiles of them. The ring can project beams of force powered by the will of the user. The weapons power is more an indication of the will of the user.

Force-Field Generation: The ring can create various forcefields of various sizes and shapes to protect the wearer and others around him. With the cosmic scope of a Sinestro corpsman's duties, it is only natural that the power ring is designed for operation in space. The ring creates a force-field around the wearer, protecting him/her/it from the hazards of the void including filtration of stellar radiation and microscopic particulate matter which would ordinarily be fatal should the space debris strike the ring wielder at high speeds. An atmosphere appropriate to the ring wielder's biology is created inside the force-field, body temperature is maintained and waste products are removed. Gravitational stresses which could cause injury are stabilized for the ring wielder. Theoretically, a ring wielder could use the ring as his/her/its sole source of life support. The force-field seems to be created instantaneously, whether this is due to programming or an instinctive reaction from intensive training has not been established. It could be considered as a subroutine of the ring's automatic defensive system, but as of yet, this theory has not been proven.

Energy Constructs: The ring can form constructs of yellow energy. The primary function of the Power Ring is to provide a weapon capable of transforming the wearer's thoughts into physical constructs through the wearer's mastery of Fear. A Sinestro Corpsman can create any particular items or construct that they can imagine as long as they have the mastery of fear necessary to will it into existence. The constructs are made out of yellow energy, which is a tangible form of pure fear, and they exist only as long as a Sinesteo Corpsman is fueling it with their mastery of fear. Items created by the rings are not indestructible and are only as powerful as the inspired fear of the Sinestro Corpsman creating them. The types of constructs usually reflects the ring wearer's personality.

Instill Fear: the Power Ring is unique in that its base of power, fear, can be manipulated by the ring user. An opponent's fears can be laid bare by delving into their minds. The power only works on the direct emotion of fear. This allows them to create the energy constructs of a opponent's worst nightmare. Also, once that fear is exposed, the ring's ability allows the wielder to amplify the fear to the point of irrationality and true horror on the part of victim and conversely empowering the ring wielder.

Phasing: The Power Ring allows the wearer to pass through certain solid objects, such as walls. Which objects that are not penetrable are not known, but it may depend upon the strength of the wearer's mastery of fear and the density of the object's molecular structure.

Kryptonian Charging: Similar to how the light of a Green Power Ring can be used to create artifical Kryptonite energy to harm a Kryptonian, the yellow energy from a Yellow Power Ring can charge the powers of a Kryptonian or Daxamite.

Environmental Playback: Upon request, the power ring can recreate a holographic environment based on data in its memory banks. The ring wielder can observe events in a ghostlike state, but the ring wielder cannot alter the outcome of the playback. All objects in the playback will appear in the full spectrum of colors, regardless of the wielder's level of expertise creating simulacrum's. The power ring will automatically end the playback if outside interference warrants the ring wielder's undivided attention.

Invisibility & Light Refraction: A ring wielder can render him/her/itself invisible by willing the ring to bend light waves around his/her/its form, as well as that of the power ring. Presumably, a similar action allows an experienced ring wielder to create objects of colors other than green. As Hal Jordan's experience grew, he was able to create power ring illusions of people and objects. It can be assumed the ring wielder would not risk the extra time and effort to create other colors in a combat situation.

Energy Twin: The power ring allows the wearer to create an "energy twin" of his/her/itself that can travel at far greater speeds than that of the ring wielder's physical form. While the energy twin is active the ring wielder remains motionless, his/her/its life force is needed to guide the energy twin. The energy twin can not alter its surroundings, and may only be perceived by another ring wielder as a yellow, ghostlike image. Any knowledge gained by the energy twin is transferred back to the ring wielder's physical form upon recontact with the body.

Energy Absorption: The ring can absorb and store most other energies. Unlike the Green Lantern power rings, a yellow power ring can replenish the normal store of energy the ring has. A ring that needs recharging, but contained a store of electricity could only discharge that electricity, for example.

Flight: By the manipulation of anti-gravitons and directed molecular movement, the ring allows the user to fly at incredible speeds. In atmosphere, a Sinestro Corpsmen has been known to fly as fast as Mach 10 in atmosphere by creating an aerodynamic envelope around his body. Towing others, usually within a bubble, his speed is limited to the twice the speed of sound or 1440 mph. In space, Sinestro Corpsman's speed can be significantly greater and has been known to approach 80% of lightspeed in normal space. Flight is possible at velocities exceeding light speed. In atmospheres, air friction is not a hindrance, since heat is either absorbed or reflected by the ring's field.

Wormholes & Spacial Warps: The power ring grants its wearer access to wormholes in space, enabling the ring wielder to rapidly cut time and distance needed for transport. Black holes can be navigated by experienced ring wielders.

Limited Cellular Regeneration: This ring has a limited ability to heal physical injuries and this seems to be a feature held over from the previous incarnations of the ring. Sinestro Corpsman can use the ring to repair minor injuries in himself or others.

Electromagnetic Scanning: The ring has a wide range of detection abilities based on the imagination of the user. If one can conceive of it, he can probably detect it. Magical effects like clairvoyance, seem to be beyond the scope of the ring. Most normal electromagnetic phenomena are within the range of the ring, including radio, television, infrared, ultraviolet, and high frequency band communications.

Universal Translator: Keeping in mind the myriad of worlds, life forms, and cultures throughout the cosmos, it is understandable why Sinestro added a translation system to the power ring. The power ring can translate virtually any language in the universe, facilitating diplomatic encounters rather than violent confrontations.

Material Alteration: The Sinestro Corpsman's uniform is not made out of fabric. It is created by the Power Ring whenever the wearer wills to wear it. It automatically appears over the wearer's normal clothing, and vanishes when the wearer wills to return to their civilian attire. Most Sinestro Corpsmen wear similar uniforms that are programmed into the ring by default. However, each Sinestro Corpsman is able to adjust their uniform to fit their own needs, personalities and whims. The yellow parts of the wearer's uniform are usually very warm or hot to those who touch it, while the black parts are very cold.


Ring Duplication: Most Power Rings are capable of automatically duplicating themselves. Each duplicate typically shares the qualities and capabilities of the original ring. While the thought of an unauthorized person getting a hold of a power ring and making duplicates for nefarious purposes, their ability to inflict damage is limited because each duplicate still requires to be recharged by a personal power battery.

Emergency Beacon: A Sinestro Corpsman in distress can use his/her/its power ring as an emergency beacon. The alert can be directed to a Sinestro Soldier's neighboring sector, or it can be a Corps-wide alert.

Homing Beacon: A homing beacon in the power ring can lead one Sinestro Corpsman to another. The power ring can be ordered to disguise itself to elude power ring wielding trackers. Most often ring wielders will allow the beacon to signal their location to others.

Mind Alteration: As the power ring relies on thought and will to operate, mind tampering is not impossible, the real difficulty lies in properly applying the power. There lies a risk of catastrophic damage to the mind should mistakes be made. A ring wielder can use the power ring to erase portions of an individual's memories. Sinestro Corpsmen have used mind techniques as part of training. New recruits may be subjected to mind scans by other Sinestro Corpsmen. They are taught to build mental defenses to protect themselves from psionic attack. The power ring can also be used to beam information from the ring wielder to another being. Sinestro Corpsmen have used this technique to share information regarding their enemies during combat situations.

Security Protocol: The rings can be programmed. They can be coded to the wearer so as to make them unusable if stolen.

Preset Conditions: Commands can be stored in the ring to be executed at a later date, even if the bearer is not wearing the ring.

Hand to Hand Combat (Basic): His time in the Army has taught him basic hand to hand combat, enough for him to defend himself even without his ring

Indomitable Will: Indomitable Will is a capacity to control one's emotions and impulses. Also, anyone with an Indomitable Will is capable of overcoming fear and resisting mind control. Having an Indomitable Will is an important trait to be chosen for the Green Lantern Corps.

Intimidation: is the ability to command respect through the use of fear. This ability proves particularly useful when combined with the skill of Interrogation. Although primarily demonstrated by super-villains and other disreputable characters, some heroes including Batman, Guy Gardner and the Midnighter routinely use the art of intimidation to procure information from a suspect. The ability to "instill great fear" is highly valued amongst members of the Sinestro Corps.


[Weakness Information]


○ Recharge Protocol: Formerly, the rings needed to be charged after a period of 24 hours, regardless of how often it was used. Currently the rings retain a charge until they run out of power. This variability ensures that the wearer takes greater effort to keep it charged. Sinestro's ring was originally charged by attacking Green Lanterns, presumably to tap into the yellow light of fear provided by Parallax who was trapped in the Green Lantern's Central Battery for eons. With the construction of the Sinestro Corps' Central Power Battery, a Yellow Power Ring has the same power limitations as a Green Lantern Ring.

○ Hope Weakness: The transmission and power of one of Sinestro's rings can be greatly disrupted by the presence of a Blue Lantern Ring.

Personality
Vain and arrogant, Balza'ran believes himself to be a warrior above reproach and one of the most beautiful men on the Planet Earth and on his home planet. But beyond his vanity is a man with extreme rage. He is on the hunt for traitors of his people, those "tainted" by the Psions who just love experimenting on his people. He believes in the fact that only the strong survive, and in the case of those "tainted" by the Psions, if they allowed themselves to be captured, they don't deserve to live. It's a blend of Darwinism and Zealotry that drives him, as well as his inward belief that he himself is impure because of the fact he is Albino.

He loves fighting, on a different level than most of his people. He will go out of his way to find the strongest beings just to test his might against them.

Biography
As a boy born in one of the noble houses of Tamaran, and an older cousin of Kotand'r, his parents already knew that he was different from the other children he played. And not just because he was born albino. He was just far more aggressive than the other boys, as if he was possessed by X'hal's rage. As he grew up, his violent tendencies became more and more troublesome, and in an attempt to bring some discipline into him, they sent him to train with the Warlords of O'kaara. It worked....all too well. He was among the fiercest warriors the Warlords have ever trained, but as much as his physical prowess was unmatched, he took the lessons of self worth, compassion, and to love a friend and hate an enemy, far too close to heart. He became a vain, arrogant man who loved his people with all his heart, but harbored fierce rage for any of his enemies. And not only his enemies, but for anybody he considered to be weak or unfit to even breath.

Coming back to Tamaran, he was a model noble to the public, but his time on Okaara made him look upon the nobility of Tamaran with the fresh eyes of an adult. He saw corruption among his peers, and he knew such corruption would bring an end to his people. So he did what he thought was right: he killed them. He managed to brush off the murders as an accident and thus he was able to keep himself from getting killed.

When the royal family were taken for experimentation by the Psions, Balza'ran was among the many who retaliated in outrage to rescue them. He stayed on Tamaran, joined the army, and was leading troops when the Psions attacked. He barely made it off the planet alive and helped lead his people to a new world. But the repeated Psion interference made him harbor overwhelming hatred for them and their methods.

When Koriand'r left for Earth, he didn't follow. But when Kotand'r, the body double of Koriand'r, left her people as well, he followed, bringing his spear along. He ended up on Earth, his original intention being to bring Kotand'r back to Tamaran to continue her work in helping their people.

For a peasant though, she had caught his eye as someone "interesting" to have by his side. One that did not take his ego at face value and in fact challenged was a major point in his interest for her.

Tamaranean Battle Spear: An ornate looking spear, Balza'ron uses this as his primary weapon. Forged from the toughest materials on Tamaran, this weapon is strong enough and tough enough to injure beings such as his fellow Tamaraneans and other superpowered beings without being destroyed. It's durability is so great that it can deflect energy projectiles like Starbolts. It is also telescopic, which means it can collapse into a smaller size for easy storage, and can re extend with a simple twirl.

However, it is not magically enhanced in any way, so it isn't as strong against magically empowered beings, such as Shazam or Black Adam, and it's practically useless against the strongest magical beings, like the Spectre.

Tamaranean Armor He wears a suit of light armor, which allows him great freedom of movement while improving his already great durability. However, it does have it's limits and can be torn apart by a much stronger opponent or after many hits.




[Ability Information]


Tamaranean Physiology: Balza'ran's alien physiology constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it to energy.

Energy Absorption: He can also absorb the ultraviolet radiation from other life forms. He can use this to weaken Kryptonians who otherwise require ultraviolet radiation to maintain their superhuman abilities.

Flight: Which leaves a distinctive energy contrail behind (his being silver), looking as if it is coming directly from his hair. Balza'ran can fly light years through space in short amounts of time.

Superhuman Durability: Balza'ran has moderate invulnerability to physical harm, heat, cold, and radiation. Balza'ran also has the ability to survive in the vacuum of space without protection or survival gear (including any breathing apparatus).

Superhuman Strength:The exact magnitude of Balza'ran's strength is unknown, his strength should effortlessly range into the multi-megaton level at the very least as long as in a sun rich area; this ability is triggered by boundless confidence. (Normal strength can lift between 75-90 tons but when fully charged 100+ tons. However in dark or when stricken with self doubt his strength is weakened: Dark depending on length and if sun shards strength can drop up to half. Self Doubt however drains his power to be a quarter of its full power

Lingustic Assimilation: He is capable of assimilating other languages through physical contact with another person.

Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced): Balza'ran is also extremely proficient in armed and unarmed combat, having been trained in those arts by the Warlords of Okaara.

Acrobatics: Supplementing his strength and durability is his great agility, able to perform many acrobatic tricks without much effort.

Strengths: One of his most commonly seen strengths is his skill with a bow. Having been training with it since he was around 5 years old, he has become an archer that can match Oliver Queen in skill.

Jonathan also had trained hard on his physical fitness through strength training, flexibility training, parkour and gymnastics, martial arts, and even Yoga. He is at peak physical fitness and has knowledge in Muay Thai, Savate, Judo, Capoeira, and good old fashioned Boxing.

But his greatest strengths are his mind and his mouth. Jonathan is a genius, and although he isn't arrogant about it, he does know when he is several steps ahead of somebody and will let them know of this. He has read Sun Tzu's Art of War after all. He also has a tendency to snark, and uses his wit to piss his enemies off enough to drop their guard and give him an advantage.

Oliver Queen's Bow: When the original Green Arrow disappeared, Jonathan was given a map that lead to one of his secret bunkers. Of the many pieces of equipment he found, one of them is Oliver Queen's own bow. Having already been an archer before putting on the hood, this and Oliver Queen's last words inspired him to continue his Legacy.

Oliver's Quiver and Gimmick Arrows: Another of Oliver Green's possessions is his quiver and a set of his gimmick arrows. Although Jonathan has since created his own, he keeps them in a case like they are museum pieces, especially the infamous boxing glove arrow, which he finds especially funny.

Philosophical/ Social Viewpoint: Jonathan believes that those with great skill, money, or both, should do whatever they can to use what they have to better society. It's what drove him to continue Oliver's legacy as the Green Arrow: he possesses both.

He also believes that it's his responsibility to do whatever he can to not kill the criminals he apprehends. This is due to the idealistic view that they can be swayed away from the criminal life and be model citizens again.

Religious Viewpoint: He keeps religion separate from his dealings as the Green Arrow. As Jonathan Price, he is considered to be a devout Christian.

Romantic Viewpoint: It sucks to be a hero sometimes. Everyone you think you are in love with tends to be targeted by your enemies. Even so, this doesn't really stop Jonathan from making more than a few passes at women.

If he ever does find love, he wants to be damn sure they can hold their own against any evil forces after them.

Personality
Jonathan is a complex guy. The man you normally see is funny, smart, sophisticated, and is easy to get along with. You'll never have a better friend than him. He is also very nice and polite, a true gentleman and scholar. You would much prefer to be friends with him than be an enemy.

For all of this, even though he has money, smarts, and influence, he is surprisingly humble about it. But he does have his flaws. He can be quite hot blooded when it comes to enemies hurting the people he loves, which can blind him and leave him vulnerable. He hates failure and will do everything he can to not fail. Depression sets in if he does. When he does have an idea for a new gadget or really needs time to himself, he will hole himself up in his own lair for hours at a time. And finally, he is the kind of guy that thinks everyone has a chance to turn away from selfish and/or evil actions and as such, he has a no killing attitude to crime fighting, unless he has to. Even then, it's a very, very last resort to him.


Biography
Jonathan Dupont had it all. Money, looks, smarts, and was on the fast track to going to the best schools and inheriting his father's company. His father, Micheal Dupont, was originally from France, but he came to California to expand his business overseas. He met Georgia Elaine while he was there, and they quickly married and had a child. Micheal wanted his son to be as well educated as possible, and so Jonathan was schooled in everything. Science, Mathematics, History, Philosophy, he had all sorts of private tutors. But what he was really interested in was the arts of Archery and the martial art Savate (specifically Savate de reue, which is the more practical self defense form of Savate).

But things took a turn for the worst for the young heir. Some of Jonathan's friends were involved in illegal activities as a way to rebel against their stuffy upperclass parents and they roped Jonathan in, taking advantage of his naivete and willingness to help. But when the cops showed up, they ditched Jonathan and he was arrested. Although he was acquitted of all charges, his father didn't take it too well. His trust fund was revoked except for a small amount and he was kicked out of the house. Jonathan was on his own.

With his own small apartment and a minimum wage job, Jonathan struggled through his college years to obtain his Bachelors Degree in Business Management. It was his own study into Computer Technology that jumpstarted the beginnings of his own company, and the beginning of his new life. So he left his old life behind by changing his name. Jonathan Dupont was now Jonathan Price, CEO of Price Industries.

Improving his Bachelors Degree into a Master Degree, Jonathan continued his physical training in his spare time. Along the way, his business grew and he made friends with other CEO's. But his relationship with Oliver Queen was what would ultimately define his future. He thought the business dinners and trips to parties and the theater was all so Oliver can get to know the younger CEO, but ultimately he was wrong. When Star City was destroyed by an unnaturally powerful earthquake, Jonathan received a map to an unknown location, which turned out to be a secret bunker of the Green Arrow, who unmasked himself as Oliver Queen. And he wanted Jonathan to continue his legacy. Jonathan accepted and stepped up his training.

2 years afterwards, things were looking good for him. Price Industries was a big company rivaling Wayne Enterprises, Jonathan Price is a major celebrity in Coast City and the entire United States, and there were talks of a new Green Arrow prowling the streets, carrying on the legacy the original left behind. A new age had begun.

[Weapon Information]

Jonathan's Bow: After his first couple of outings as the Green Arrow, and subsequent soul searching, Jonathan created his own version of Oliver's bow. With similar perimeters as Oliver's, the only difference between the two is the shade of green, with Jonathan's being more of a forest green color, and the fact he has controls on his bow to rotate the quiver to pick out which arrowhead he needs. It also came with a detachable sniper scope, in case Jonathan had to make a really long range shot.

Jonathan's Quiver and Arrows: This is what separates him from the original. His quiver has a more high tech feel to it. Completely mechanical, operated by controls on his bow, Jonathan can switch arrowheads at will to suit whatever task was needed. The maximum capacity the quiver can hold is about 75 arrows, and he always has on hand standard, explosive, and zipline arrows, along with (as a homage to Oliver) one infamous boxing glove arrow, which is housed in a special section of the quiver labeled "Emergency Use Only". Other arrows Jonathan may have on his person include:

Quick Drying Foam Cement Arrow: When you just have to restrain somebody, the arrowhead is more like a cylinder that, when it reaches the target, explodes and coats the foe in a foam that hardens into cement, basically rooting them in place.

Flash Grenade Arrow: This is a customized trick arrow equipped with an incendiary tip. It is one of several gimmick weapons utilized by the heroic archer known as Green Arrow.

Greek Fire Arrow: This was a customized trick arrow equipped with a tip that could inject a perpetually burning stream of fluid into a target. It was one of several gimmick weapons utilized by the heroic archer known as Green Arrow.

Laser Guided Arrow: Utilizing a small laser attached to his glasses, Jonathan can turn one of his arrows into a guiding arrow that will unerringly follow whatever he tagged with the laser on his glasses. He usually only uses these when he needs something to explode without risking himself. This is a specially made arrow as it has little engines attached to propel the arrow farther.

Cluster Arrow: Though it looks like a large cylinder with fletching, this is actually one of Jonathan's finest creations. Usually fired in a high arc, at the zenith of the arrow's ascent, the casing splits open, reveal multiple arrows stored within. Most of the time they are either standard arrows or explosive arrows meant to either corral a target to somewhere he wants them to go or to blow up something that one normal explosive arrow can't do. He has to carry this special arrow separately, as the total package is too big to fit in his quiver. One Cluster Arrow equals 6 standard or explosive arrows.

Caltrop Arrow: A hollow shaft and cylindrical arrowhead, filled with many tiny beads. When the arrow impacts a surface, doors on the arrowhead open, spilling the beads on the floor. The arrowhead sends a spark through the ground, which activates the beads, which then sprout many small spikes. Caltrops are meant to hobble an opponent by piercing through their feet, making walking or running difficult.

Canary Cry Arrow: Among the many things he found in Oliver Queen's secret bunker, Jonathan found the schematics and parts needed to fashion a more aerodynamic version of Black Canary's Canary Bombs, devices she used when her own powerful scream was not working. These arrow use nano acoustic technology to project her famous Canary Cry to stun or do serious damage to whatever the sound waves hit.

Oil Slick Arrow: Basically an arrow with a container of an oily substance as the arrowhead, when their arrow is fired into the ground, the casing splits open, spilling out the oily contents that makes the terrain around the spill very slippery to walk on. The substance is flammable.

Tranquilizer Arrow: A tranquilizer dart as an arrowhead, it is usually filled with enough sedative to knock out a human.

Knockout Gas Arrow: An arrow with a slit at the end. When it hits a wall, it releases gas that will knockout nearly anyone that breathes it in, unless they wear a gas mask, or is immune to such effects.

Ultraviolet Arrow: A special arrow used to harm vampires and other creatures of the night, it is basically an arrow with a glowing arrowhead. The glow is ultraviolet light, harmful to vampires and other undead and potentially lethal if it hits the target. Jonathan doesn't even know how Oliver came to possess such arrows

Other Weapons and Equipment:

GA-2 Goggles: Jonathan originally wore sunglasses to conceal his identity, but he knew he needed better. And that's where these goggles came in These new goggles helps to protect his identity even better than his sunglasses could, especially in combination with his signature hood. Made out of ultralight and strong materials with a bit of titanium, the goggles are almost guaranteed not to break. They comes with infrared and night vision modes, enhanced zoom for long range sniping, wind direction and speed sensors, auditory sensors and earplugs (to protect his ears against his own trick arrows), and sonar. The small laser that was on his old sunglasses is on these goggles. The lens are also able to go completely black to protect his eyes against flashbangs. It also had a couple of defensive mechanisms in case anyone tries to take it off. Anyone that tries to pick up the goggles will be shocked and if anyone tries to use the goggles, it will automatically shutdown if Jonathan Price is not the one operating it.

Modified Combat Armor: Modeled after Batman's in terms of materials, it is made of reinforced Kevlar and a small percentage of Titanium, making it bullet-proof resistant to many of the typical dangers Jonathan goes through (falls, impacts, explosions, etc.) while being flame retardant and insulated. It includes reinforced gloves and boots to rebound the impact of punches and kicks and is flexible enough to allow full mobility while providing all the protection he needs.


[Ability Information]


Acrobatics: Jonathan is an expert in acrobatics, and often uses this skill while evading enemy fire. His skill in this area is almost as good as Oliver himself.

Archery: Jonathan was a good archer before he realized his Legacy, but once he trained himself past his limits and inherited Queen's legacy, he became an archer of almost no equal. He has done at least a couple of Oliver's famous tricks, including slicing a water drop as it leaves the tap, shoving an arrow down a gun barrel, split an arrow in two, and knock coins of various sizes out of the air.

Chemistry: Jonathan creates his own arrows, even the ones that require complex chemistry, such as his quick drying cement arrows, explosive arrows, Greek Fire arrows, and others.

Electronics: Jonathan is at least skilled enough in this field to upgrade his own technology when needed

Cooking: Among many of the things he has inherited from the Green Arrows legacy is his ability to cook. He even knows how to make Oliver's infamous chili.

Martial Arts: He is no slouch in close combat, possessing knowledge in Judo, Muay Thai, Capoeira, Boxing, and Savate, among other styles. Though not quite up to Batman levels of proficiency, Jonathan can hold his own against even some of the deadliest masters.

Hunting: Jonathan is a very patient and cunning hunter. He supplements his hunting prowess with his criminology background, so that he would be proficient in hunting the deadliest game: Man, specifically criminals.

Swordsmanship: Jonathan also knows how to wield a sword, though he prefers sword that are of European design.

Staff Wielding: Another thing he differs from Oliver is his ability to proficiently wield a staff, after reading about the legends of Robin Hood, who was also Oliver's inspiration.

Human Conditioning: No matter how hard he trains, he's still human, still mortal, and can die if wounded fatally.

Fear of Clowns: He also has a fear of clowns due to an incident in his childhood he would prefer not to talk about.

Fear of Failing: His biggest weakness is his fear of failure. He worked hard to live up to the legacy he inherited, and fears failing to uphold Oliver's deeds.

Trash Talking: Although he can make people incredibly mad with his trash talking, sometimes he can take it too far and get himself hurt by the now angry opposition.

Personality
Brutal, cunning, and vicious, Balaerax is aggressive and somewhat arrogant. He thoroughly believes only the strongest shall rule Atlantis and considers the current King as someone to be overthrown. Behind the mass of muscle and aggression though is a more talented mind than you would think. He learned magic and is pretty good at the craft, and is a decent tactician. Those who think he's nothing but a beast will pay dearly.

Biography

An outsider of Atlantis, he and his family gained citizenship when King Orin let the gates open. He went to the same schools as the Atlanteans, and even was able to learn the magic he saw Atlantean sorcerers use. The fact that the other kids were practically scared of him didn't phase him. To him, they didn't exist.

When the King disappeared, and his brother Orm took the throne, Balaerax knew strength when he saw it. That man was the rightful one to take the throne, even though it was Orin who gave him the chance to be allowed in Atlantis. But then he was deposed and a boy named Nerites was replaced as the new King. Something he didn't like.

He protested against this new regime, gathering a few loyal supporters to condemn Nerites as a 'False King'. The protest quickly turned bloody, and Balaerax ended up being put in prison for treason and for 18 counts of murder. He is currently awaiting trial.

Superhuman Strength: Balaerax is an incredibly strong Atlantean, his strength being slightly less than Aquaman's, but certainly much higher than most Atlanteans. This could be attributed to the fact he is an incredibly muscular shark.

Superhuman Durability: Balaerax's enhanced physiology enables him to withstand heavy impacts that would kill any normal human being and gives him the ability to go far down the ocean floor. He possesses superhuman durability high enough to be unaffected by the immense pressure and the cold temperature of the ocean depths, this also makes him tough enough to be almost invulnerable to extreme heat and gun fire, in addition to surviving a bus thrown and landing on him.

Underwater Adaptation: He can function normally underwater and is able to withstand the high pressures and extreme temperatures of the deep, like all Atlanteans.

Enhanced Senses: Balaerax also has the ability to hear and smell much greater than human capacity and possesses superhuman reflexes. His ability to see through murky, dark waters gives him remarkable vision at night while on the surface.

Balaerax also has a sixth sense due to his shark physiology. Near the nostrils, around the head and on the underside of the snout, or rostrum, are small pores called ampullae of Lorenzini. Connected to the pores are long, jelly-filled bulbs that lead to nerves below the skin and it's these bulbs that allow him to pick up on the small electrical fields generated by other animals. Even when blinded or in the deepest depths of the oceans, Balaerax can still sense you.

Rough Skin: Due to his shark like physiology, Balaerax is covered in Placoid scales, also known as Denticles. The texture is like sandpaper, which helps reduce drag so he can swim really fast.

Sorcery: Balaerax is also accomplished in the field of magic, having been tutored under Atlantean sorcerers. His knowledge of magic allows him to perform several impressive feats listed below:

Telepathy: Balaerax is able to use Telepathy to summon sharks to his aid. This is similar to Aquaman's ability and he is able to call on any species of shark, small or large.
Eldritch Blast: Balaerax can blast a foe with mystical energy
Cryokinesis: Balaerax can control the cold or ice crystals, usually to either enhance his bite with icy fangs, form armor around his body to deflect attacks, etc.
Electrokinesis: Balaerax can control electricity to an extent, usually to charge his bite with electrical energy or as a field of electricity, etc.
Hydrokinesis: Balaerax can control the water around him, usually to blast his opponents with a mouthful of water, whether extremely cold or scalding hot or to fire off droplets like watery bullets.
Body Modification: Balaerax's specialty is the modification of his own body through magic, which is a form of transmutation. He can make his teeth sharper, his skin as sharp as knives, and more through simple concentration.

Unarmed Combat: Balaerax prefers the visceral feel of his fists hitting other people and generally shuns using weapons in the form of his teeth, fists, and feet. His style is fast, brutal, and merciless, going for sheer power and trusting his magical abilities and his own skin for defense.

Asphyxiation: Even more so than most, Balaerax needs the flow of water through his gills to survive. After all, sharks never stop moving. If he is out of water for too long (his endurance is about 8-10 hours) he will die.

Animal Instincts: If he lets his base instincts take over, he can be outmaneuvered and defeated easily.

Intelligence Level: George has an IQ of about 146, he's smart, not Stephen Hawkings level, but he certainly an excellent strategist, and a quick study of most things. This can be attributed to the his time as a SEAL and his minute attention to detail is because he likes to draw Comic Books.

George keeps his old uniforms in pristine condition, with all of the ribbons, as a reminder of what he has done for his country. He tends to look on it with pride.

Philosophical/social viewpoint: George believes in working towards a better future, and will do anything to make sure someones life better.

Religious viewpoint: George does believe in other beings, but he doesn't worship anything in particular. That being said, after seeing the various aliens on Oa, not much can really surprise him, so a God showing up in front of him wouldn't be too surprising.

Romantic viewpoint: George has been single for a while, and although his parents and grandparents are urging him to have children, he's not in a hurry, especially now that he went from a Navy SEAL to basically a Galactic cop.


Biography
Born on the outskirts of Bismarck, North Dakota on a farm, George was the oldest of 5 kids growing up in a happy family. His family line had a long tradition of military service across all branches, and George was no different. He wanted to be in the Navy since he was little, but at first George was pretty short and overweight, and kids thought his dreams were nothing but dreams, at least until middle school, when his determination, and puberty, proved them all wrong.

He joined the NROTC (Navy Reserve Officers Training Corps), and then the Navy. He served for a couple of years as an officer on board a small mining vessel until he applied to achieve his dream. George was to be trained as a Navy SEAL. The road was not easy, consisting of almost 2 and a half years of training in many areas. His determination to succeed, however trumped what he went through, even when he basically had at most 4 hours of sleep through an entire week (the Aptly titled 'Hell Week').

Already an officer when he went in, he eventually would rise up to the rank of Captain and command his own team. He led them through many different combat missions, and every time he brought all of his men back home. A new member named Evelyn, who was one of the first women to join his unit, would prove to be one of his best friends and would be the source of his greatest failure.

On one combat mission, Evelyn warned the team as they searched a building that it might be trapped, but George was determined to get them in, defeat the bad guys, and get them out. But after heavy close quarters fighting, the building began to collapse due to pre planted explosives and he was forced to get his whole team out of the building. Unfortunately, the building collapsed on Evelyn, who managed to find a safe place underneath the rubble. But she was trapped, and despite he and the others best efforts, he was forced to leave her due to arriving reinforcements. After he was forced to leave a soldier behind, he resigned from the SEALS and returned to the States, now living in Coast City, California.

Not even a month later, destiny would call for him, when a green glowing object zoomed through his open window and relayed another chance to serve a different cause: George Wattson of Earth, you possess great willpower. Welcome to the Green Lantern Corps. After some hesitation, he took the ring and was taken to the planet Oa, where he would be educated and trained as a Green Lantern.

Now six months after that fateful night, George is the newest Green Lantern of Sector 2814, and he takes his job very seriously. When he isn't around doing good around the planet, he trains with his ring so that he is prepared for whatever will come his way.

○ Green Lantern Ring: A Green Lantern Ring, also known as a Power Ring, is a piece of jewelry that grants the wearer incredible and incomprehensible powers and abilities by harnessing willpower. They are considered by some to be the most powerful weapons in the known universe. Depending on the skill and willpower of the wearer, it can do almost anything. The first Green Lantern Ring on Earth in modern times was crafted and worn by Alan Scott and powered by the mystical Starheart. His proved to be the exception, the by-product of the efforts of the Guardians of the Universe to contain the magic of the universe. The Guardians also created the more widespread version, powered by individual Green Lantern Power Batteries through a connection to the Central Power Battery on Oa. With the exception of the ring worn by Alan Scott, the current rings are based on the one given to Kyle Rayner when he was the only Green Lantern in existence.

○ Green Lantern Power Battery: Power Batteries are constantly charged by the Central Power Battery to manually fuel about 7200 individual Green Lantern Rings. With few exceptions the Power Ring is limited to a 24 hour charge and must be recharged in the Power Battery on a daily basis.

[Ability information]


Bright Green Energy Conduit: The rings use pure energy supplied by a Power Battery, which in most cases takes the form of bright green light. This energy is the green light of willpower of the Emotional Electromagnetic Spectrum. Rot Lop Fan, from a race without eyes, perceives it as the sound "F-Sharp" and his 'ring' is actually a bell. A Green Lantern's ring, considered by some to be one of the most powerful weapons in the known universe, has the ability to affect and use fundamental forces of the known universe, including electromagnetic energies such as gravity, radiation, heat, light, and powerful blasts of concussive force. It is also theorized that the ring also has a basis in other dimensional energies commonly called magic by users of such energies. The ring can also create fields of force formed from an unknown energy that is bound by the users' will. The limitations of such use are the skill, knowledge and imagination of the user.

Energy Projection: The ring can be used to fire blasts of Oan energy or create weapons such as projectiles of them. The ring can project beams of force powered by the will of the user. The ring can be used to produce kryptonite and kryptonite radiation. Kyle generally used fanciful constructs in the shape of advanced technology. Their appearance does not indicate the power of the weapon. The weapon's power is more an indication of the will of the user. Certain users (i.e. Hal Jordan) have been powerful enough to stagger even Superman. If the user wishes, they can alter the form of the blasts such as Kilowog's "booms."

Force Field: The ring can create various force fields of various sizes and shapes to protect the wearer and others around him. With the cosmic scope of a Green Lantern's duties, it is only natural that the power ring is designed for operation in space. The ring creates a force field around the wearer, protecting him/her/it from the hazards of the void including filtration of stellar radiation and microscopic particulate matter which would ordinarily be fatal should the space debris strike the ring wielder at high speeds. An atmosphere appropriate to the ring wielder's biology is created inside the force-field while body temperature is maintained and waste products are removed. Gravitational stresses which could cause injury are stabilized for the ring wielder. Theoretically, a ring wielder could use the ring as his/her/its sole source of life support. The force field seems to be created instantaneously whether this is due to programming or an instinctive reaction from intensive training has not been established. It could be considered as a subroutine of the ring's automatic defensive system, but as of yet this theory has not been proven. The only exception to that was attacks based on the color yellow. The newer version of the ring is not limited by the color yellow.

Energy Constructs: The ring can form constructs of Oan energy. The primary function of the Power Ring is to provide a weapon capable of transforming the wearer's thoughts into physical constructs through the wearer's strength of willpower. A Green Lantern can create any particular items or construct that they can imagine as long as they have the willpower necessary to will it into existence. The constructs are made out of bright green energy, which is a tangible form of pure willpower, and they exist only as long as a Green Lantern is fueling it with their willpower. Items created by the rings are not indestructible and are only as powerful as the willpower of the Green Lantern creating them. The types of constructs usually reflects the ring wearer's personality. For example, Kyle Rayner was an artist, so his constructs reflect his strong imagination. John Stewart is an architect so his constructs often appear mechanical as if he designed them in his mind before making them a reality.

Phasing: The Power Ring allows the wearer to pass through certain solid objects such as walls. Which objects that are not penetrable are not known, but it may depend upon the strength of the wearer's willpower and the density of the object's molecular structure.

Environmental Playback: Upon request, the power ring can recreate a holographic environment based on data in its memory banks. The ring wielder can observe events in a ghostlike state, but the ring wielder cannot alter the outcome of the playback. All objects in the playback will appear in the full spectrum of colors, regardless of the wielder's level of expertise creating simulacra. The power ring will automatically end the playback if outside interference warrants the ring wielder's undivided attention.

Invisibility & Light Refraction: A ring wielder can render him/her/itself invisible by willing the ring to bend light waves around his/her/its form, as well as that of the power ring. Presumably, a similar action allows an experienced ring wielder to create objects of colors other than green. As Hal Jordan's experience grew, he was able to create power ring illusions of people and objects. It can be assumed the ring wielder would not risk the extra time and effort to create other colors in a combat situation. An invisibility shield was used by Hal Jordan to hide his power ring, which would only become visible when he changed to Green Lantern.

Energy Twin: The power ring allows the wearer to create an "energy twin" of his/her/itself that can travel at far greater speeds than that of the ring wielder's physical form. While the energy twin is active the ring wielder remains motionless, his/her/its life force is needed to guide the energy twin. The energy twin can not alter its surroundings and may only be perceived by the Guardians or another ring wielder as a green, ghostlike image. Any knowledge gained by the energy twin is transferred back to the ring wielder's physical form upon recontact with the body. The Guardians frequently used energy twins as a means of contacting a Green Lantern. As a rule, a ring wielder can not create actual, independent duplicates of him/her/itself, as the power ring cannot create life.

Energy Absorption: The ring can absorb and store other energies. Doing so does NOT replenish the normal store of energy the ring has. A ring that needs recharging but contained a store of electricity could only discharge that electricity, for example.

Flight: By the manipulation of anti-gravitons and directed molecular movement, the ring allows the user to fly at incredible speeds. In atmosphere, a Green Lantern has been known to fly as fast as Mach 10 in atmosphere by creating an aerodynamic envelope around his body. Towing others, usually within a bubble, his speed is limited to the twice the speed of sound or 1440 mph. In space, Green Lantern's speed can be significantly greater and has been known to approach 99% of light speed in normal space. Flight has been shown to be velocities far exceeding light speed. In atmospheres, air friction is not a hindrance since heat is either absorbed or reflected by the ring's field.

Superhuman Strength: While not superstrength of the conventional sense, a Lantern while using constructs created by the ring becomes capable of lifting/moving tremendous weights far heavier than 100 tons with little effort.

Wormholes & Spacial Warps: The power ring grants its wearer access to wormholes in space, enabling the ring wielder to rapidly cut time and distance needed for transport. The Guardians established at least one known wormhole to Oa, which required the use of a power ring to enter. Black holes can be navigated by experienced ring wielders. During a battle with Sinestro and his ally, MadGod Sector 3600, members of the Green Lantern Corps of Earth and the Green Lantern Corps of the Klyminade traveled through a black hole to be deposited outside a white hole in Space Sector 872. The power ring cannot generate a Boom Tube as it needs a Mother Box and a sample of the highly unstable X-Element. There is no known way to duplicate either item even with the power ring. Should a Green Lantern make his/her/its way to the other-dimensional worlds of Apokolips or New Genesis through a Boom Tube, the ring will function as it does in the rest of the universe. John Stewart encountered no ring related difficulties during his stay on New Genesis, despite the loss of the Central Power Battery. The ring wielder would still need a Boom Tube to return to his/her/its dimension.

Limited Cellular Regeneration: The ring has an ability to heal physical injuries; this seems to be a feature held over from the previous incarnations of the ring. Green Lantern can use the ring to repair injuries in himself or others. Speculation has been rendered that if Kyle actually had medical knowledge he would be able to cure a wider variety of dysfunctions beyond normal physical injuries.

Electromagnetic Scanning: The ring has a wide range of detection abilities based on the imagination of the user. If one can conceive of it, he can probably detect it. Magical effects like clairvoyance seem to be beyond the scope of the ring. Most normal electromagnetic phenomena are within the range of the ring, including radio, radar, television, infrared, ultraviolet, microwave, and high frequency band communications.

Galactic Encyclopedia: The earlier rings worn by the Corps functioned as references for their users. Having the vast knowledge of the Book of Oa to draw upon, each ring functioned as a ready reference on most peoples, stellar events and conditions that may have been seen by other rings or other Green Lanterns. The rings also served as a repository of adventures had by the Green Lantern and these mission reports were stored in the Prime Battery on Oa for review and training.

Universal Translator: Keeping in mind the myriad of worlds, life forms, and cultures throughout the cosmos, it is understandable why the Guardians added a translation system to the power ring. The power ring can translate virtually any language in the universe, facilitating diplomatic encounters rather than violent confrontations. Complications arise when a frame of reference for translation is not available, as evidenced during Katma Tui's induction of Rot Lop Fan into the Green Lantern Corps. Katma Tui had the difficult assignment of explaining the concepts of "light" and "color" to the sightless Rot Lop Fan. She overcame this barrier by using sound rather than light as the basis of the ring's power. Some Green Lanterns, such as the planet form known as Mogo, have used the ring to create an intermediary "being" to expedite communication. However, this ability seems less effective since the restoration; it is possible that not all the data was recovered.

Material Alteration: The Green Lantern's uniform is not made out of fabric. It is created by the Power Ring whenever the wearer wills to wear it. It automatically appears over the wearer's normal clothing, and vanishes when the wearer wills to return to their civilian attire. Most Green Lanterns wear similar uniforms that are programmed into the ring by default such as Hal Jordan's uniform. However, each Green Lantern is able to adjust their uniform to fit their own needs, personalities and whims. For example, Kyle Rayner was unsatisfied with the traditional Green Lantern uniform and created several of his own designs. John Stewart's uniform is similar to Hal Jordan's, but lacks a mask to hide his identity. Jack Chance is the most extreme example, refusing to wear a uniform save for a Lantern badge on his trench coat. The green parts of the wearer's uniform are usually very warm or hot to those who touch it, while the black parts are very cold. The uniform also produces a "siren" taking on the form of the Green Lantern Corps' symbol, circling the Green Lantern when active. The symbol, or badge, will not appear on the uniform until after a newly inducted Lantern has completed training on Oa, leading to the term "White-circle" to describe a rookie Lantern..

Ring Duplication: Most Power Rings are capable of automatically duplicating themselves. Each duplicate typically shares the qualities and capabilities of the original ring. While the thought of an unauthorized person getting a hold of a power ring and making duplicates for nefarious purposes, their ability to inflict damage is limited because each duplicate still requires to be recharged by a personal power battery.

Emergency Beacon: A Green Lantern in distress can use his/her/its power ring as an emergency beacon. The alert can be directed to a Green Lantern's neighboring sector, or it can be a Corps-wide alert.

Homing Beacon: A homing beacon in the power ring can lead one Green Lantern to another. This was one of the recent power ring upgrade features added by the Guardians of the Universe. The power ring can be ordered to disguise itself to elude power ring wielding trackers. Guy Gardner successfully escaped the Green Lantern Corps of Earth by willing the power ring to keep his location a secret. Most often ring wielders will allow the beacon to signal their location to others. The Green Lantern Corps of Earth found the remnants of the Green Lantern Corps of The Klyminade by tracking them through their power rings.

Mind Alteration: Though the ethics of mind tampering may be debatable, sometimes it is necessary. As the power ring relies on thought and will to operate, mind tampering is not impossible. The real difficulty lies in properly applying the power. There lies a risk of catastrophic damage to the mind should mistakes be made. A ring wielder can use the power ring to erase portions of an individual's memories. To protect his secret identity as Hal Jordan, Green Lantern created a mental block in the mind of Major Disaster. Green Lanterns have used mind techniques as part of training. New recruits may be subjected to mind scans by other Green Lanterns or the Guardians of the Universe. They are taught to build mental defenses to protect themselves from psionic attack. The power ring can also be used to beam information from the ring wielder to another being. Green Lanterns have used this technique to share information regarding their enemies during combat situations.

Pocket Dimension: Within the ring exists the possibility of an entire world. When Green Lantern Abin Sur of Ungara defeated the evil sorcerer Myrwhydden, he reduced the magician to submicroscopic size and imprisoned him inside the power ring within a world created by the Green Lantern's will. This undefined space may be a tesseract or a virtual reality created by the power ring. Whether or not this area exists in all rings has yet to be proven. Years after Abin Sur's death, Myrwhydden's power grew, allowing him to alter his environment and escape to battle the next Green Lantern, Hal Jordan. The power ring's interior appeared as a barren wasteland, dotted with dead trees and sea shells which Myrwhydden used during an escape attempt. A few years ago, Mywhydden was removed from the power ring to be sentenced to an Oan Sciencell.

Security Protocol: The rings can be programmed. They are coded to the wearer to make them unusable if stolen. The ring will refuse to take an action that would kill a being unless they are on Oa or with permission. The Guardians recently removed the lethal force prohibition, first to allow lethal force against members of the Sinestro Corps, then against all enemies of the Green Lantern Corps.

Preset Conditions: Commands can be stored in the ring to be executed at a later date even if the bearer is not wearing the ring. This ability was demonstrated by Ch'p, who surrendered his ring but ordered it to restrain his enemy after a few moments had passed.

Thought Relay: Otherwise known as a telepathic link.

Indomitable Willpower: George's willpower is extremely powerful, even among most rookie and even some veteran Lanterns. Some have compared it to Hal Jordan's, although many are withholding any such lofty praise until he proves himself.

Expert Marksman: George has great accuracy with many firearms and thrown objects.

Leadership: George has successfully led at least 10 different combat missions in the SEALs and has gotten all of his men out most of the time, save for that one blemish on his record.

Hand to Hand Combat: Advanced: George is well trained in an MMA inspired fighting style taught by the Navy SEALS and was the best in his class. His skill only grew due to several combat missions, and additional training he took on his freetime.

Melee Weapons Expert: George is actually a really good knife fighter when he has to use it, and has used other melee weapons as well in a pinch.


[Weakness information]

Mental Instability Protocol: Drug use, neural interference, vertigo or other forms of mental incapacitation can render the wearer unable to use their ring, rendered useless.

Yellow Impurity: Formerly, the rings were unable to directly affect yellow. Now, a wearer can bypass this if they can 'accept fear', which is personified by the color yellow. Rookie Lanterns are more susceptible to fear and thus vulnerable to the color yellow.

Recharge Protocol: Formerly, the rings needed to be charged after a period of one planetary axial rotation (dependent on each ring's location), regardless of how often it was used. Currently, the rings retain a charge until they run out of power. This variability ensures that the wearer takes great effort to keep it charged. This weakness does not apply to Ion's host.

Vibrational Interference: If a vibration from a device is set to a certain speed, it causes the ring to function only in miniature, so that if the user wanted to make hands to grab something, the hands would be too small to grab it. A clock has been seen to do this.

Red Power Rings: Red Power Rings can dissolve the energy from a Green Power Ring.

Failure: George has failed when he was needed the most, to save his comrade. He doesn't want to relive that failure again, or fail anyone again, and if he does, he takes it really hard...after a bit of delay to process what just happened (or with him trying to prevent it from happening)

Sense of Purpose: George unfortunately feels fighting for a cause is all he has, and if he doesn't have that, then he doesn't really feel he has a purpose. He had gone into depression for a couple weeks after resigning from the SEALs and got out just in time to be inducted into the Green Lantern Corps.

Cocky Streak: George for all of his strategic brilliance, sometimes blunders if he feels in a superior position, taunting his opponents, which end with him realizing that's a bad idea.
