Guess who's the most recent victim of identity theft! Me. That's who. My social security number no longer is associated with my name.
Jokes aside, I'm really worried about the situation. Hopefully it's not going to be super drastic. :/

Tudora Oh wow, sorry to hear that sad I hope things go smoothly with sorting it out. Thanks bby! They probably will, I'm assuming because this hasn't come up in anything else I've done recently, it's probably an illegal using it for a job or something and will be an easy fix. Shannon Kyra Liannanon That sucks hope it gets sorted out soon I appreciate it. <3

I assume you called people and like told them stuff? That sucks...
FUN FACT! When I first went into the military, somehow my oldest sister's social and credit info was attached to mine. I think it's because our names are so similar.

That really sucks, I hope you have called the authoritys and they have put some blocks in place.
And hopefully you can get a new one. Ive had two SS numbers in America already...but then none of mine were perminant.

GoldDiggingWhore I assume you called people and like told them stuff? That sucks... gdapw That really sucks, I hope you have called the authoritys and they have put some blocks in place. I was on hold for like an hour with my local SS office (which is like...an hour and a half away so it's not like I can just pop over there either) and by the time I was up in the queue I had to go back to work. They are closed today and tomorrow, so I have to make sure to get up early on Monday and hope that it can be resolved in the hour they're open before I have to be at work. xxXSleepy_NinjaXxx Sorry to hear that. yeah in my experience with SS you need to allow like a full afternoon to achieve anything with them (At least in citys). I did go to one where they had really good processing times but it was like on the outskirts of a city. You would hope they would prioritise it. Have you done any of these things? http://www.wikihow.com/Report-a-Stolen-Social-Security-Card

O.O I would assume so yeah, that's why I'm sure it's an illegal or something using my number for an occupation. If someone was out to steal my credit/money, they chose a VERY bad applicant for everything. Jokes~ Helping me not worry so much. ;3 Or until I did something with my social, like applying for an apartment or loan or something like that where they'd search my background. quantum physiques Citrus Novii quantum physiques what happened? o.o like, how did you find out etc I had closed my bank account with one bank, and tried to open a new one with another and when they were doing my social check that's how they found out, and it's their obligation to call me. c: THAT IS SO SCARY OMG. A bit yeah. But it'll be okay, no need for me to freak out until there's a reason to freak out. <3
