i am just curious if anyone has any real reason why they picked the name they did for there avatar?
mine is based on the old ancient lake that once filled our city google it to learn more

I read a teen novel where a cute ghost guy was talking this girl into killing her father with a heart condition. He mentioned, "See these pellet don't hurt but if you open the casing, the buckshot will do the trick"..it was a supposed thriller novel so..

It used to be Scraggy (after a bf) but some a-hole decided it was a wonderful name for a pokemon. I love the show but..no, I'm not a fanatic.

Mine's after an original character I used to write around the time I made my account. It was originally spelled with one "m" but I made that avatar male by accident and either couldn't figure out how to switch it, or maybe it wasn't an option? It was an awfully long time ago... sweatdrop
So yeah, I added another "m" and just went with it. She wasn't even really that important a character, I just liked the name.
And what's weird, and kind of fun, is that it's not a username I really use anywhere else online. I generally have two or three handles I always go back to, but Sammirah's only for Gaia.

Mine comes from Red VS Blue. Back in high school I got my friends started watching it and we'd quote it at each-other. Since I did a lot of Donut quotes I ended up with the nickname "Officer Hot-Pants". I liked it and decided to use it as my name when I joined.

Etsuko comes from a randome quiz to determine my Japanese name, it means child of joy. I liked it so I actually use it from time to time. Ran is short for my first name Random, Ran also means orchid.

I always love to hear how others came up with their names. Is there a special meaning? It's like more insight into someone's personality.
Funny though that my own username doesn't have a story at all. I was trying to find a name that wasn't taken and getting frustrated. So I eventually tried some random things and this is the one that I liked the best.

Mine is based on an RPG I played ages ago. I have not slept in days, so I am a little foggy on the details (if a crew member wants to dig it up, it is in erin's interview of me if that still exists). But anyway! The gist of it is, that there was a people who referred to their spirit bodies as xos. My username translates essentially as a soul that can be immensely damaged, but never destroyed and is both an ode to my RPG roots and the hardships I have faced in life yet somehow survived.
Also, it is not pronounced the way most people think (Ecks-Ose), but rather Ayk-Zhose.

I used to have an avii by my old web name Taydom, (the name I always wanted to have lol) but it got hacked by someone I knew & lost everything on top of them messing w/ people I know. (wasn't the only thing they hacked) Anyway, I haven't really came up with another name to go by that I like so I just used my real name.

mine has been my gamer tag since i was 13, i was heavily into zoids, and raven was my fav char, shadowraven was taken so i thought of what would work in place of the word shadow, came up with darkraven and added a 120 due to having the number 120 on my animegrapevine acount, and have been known as such ever since
