Fall Out Boy- My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light ‘Em Up)
“Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa… Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa, oh, Oh, whoa, oh, oh, whoa… ”
A strange harmony began to play over the P.A., sounding like people chanting. The lights turned dim, and red spotlights scattered across the stage as fire burned on the titantron.
“B-B-B-Be careful making wishes in the dark, dark Can't be sure when they've hit their mark And besides in the mean, mean time I'm just dreaming of tearing you apart…”
The audience seems to realize that it was Fall Out Boy's song playing over the intercom, but their attention was more turned to a strange apparatus being brought to stage side...
“I'm in the de-details with the devil So now the world can never get me on my level I just gotta get you off the cage I'm a young lover's rage Gonna need a spark to ignite
My songs know what you did in the DAAA~AAA~AAARK! ”
A flash goes off, and it appears as a fireball launches from the aparatus, but looking closer, it is indeed a young man. A boy, seemingly on fire flies across the stage, landing easily and sliding for some distance as sparks fly from his boots, all the while his jacket and tights project a burning, living flame. He looks up and reveals his red and orange painted face, framing his glowing green eyes.
“So light 'em up, up, up Light 'em up, up, up Light 'em up, up, up I'm on fire”
"Introducing first, weighing in at 180 lbs from Seattle, Washington! 'The Neo Phoenix'! Matthias Augustine-Landry!"
The crowd roars with excitement as the athletic and spectacular display, and the boy marches down the ramp, confident and excited as well. He spreads his arms out wide, letting everyone see his burning attire, which one can now distinguish is just a light display imbedded within his outfit. He kicks off his skid plates which causes the sparks earlier before he jumps up on to the apron, fluidly jumping straight up to the top rope and flipping in to the ring, showing off for his debut. He spun around, arms spread wide in the middle of the ring, soaking up this moment, because he was debuting in the company his father debuted in against the man he beat for his first World Championship, in the match he made famous. It was time to put it all on the table, and he didn't mind the chance to beat down Griffin for what he did to him a week ago. Tonight was going to be good.

Don't make a single sound I can see all that you do And where you run and hide This is a black heart, a black soul I can't control I come from hell I fear nothing and I fear no one Your time on Earth has come to its end My darkness needs this release Jacob Griffin comes out of the back, his head hanging low as the lets the new entrance music pump himself up. FFA was Griffin's old stomping grounds. Griffin a former FFA Canadian Championship holder was back in the FFA Arena and fighting for the right to be the holder of that very same belt once again! Griffin faced the new blood and a living legend's son in Matthias Landry and this vet of the FFA ring was going to give the boy all he had. A match made famous by his father Mike Landry, Griffin wasn't going to allow his son to win this match like his father did so many times before him. Griffin was here to bring the Canadian Championship back home where it belonged, around the waist of The BEST Canadian Wrestler on the Planet. Griffin made his way down the ramp, sliding under the bottom rope as he neared the ring. He ripped off his jacket and tossed it to ring side as he waited for the bell to ring to start the match.

Matthias was seeing red, and it wasnt his hair in his face. Griffin was on Matthias' extensive s**t list because of Team Canada's cowardly 3-1 attack. He couldnt think of a better way to get back at him than depriving him of the Canadian Championship...besides kicking his teeth in...
The bell rang and Matty squarded up, circling and offering a lock up.

((Auto...))
Matthias gets his lock up and goes for a speed run, looking to lock in a hammerlock, at the same time scooping him up for a modified schoolboy to make it tricker to escape.

(Sorry man. I have been super busy. I will try to get on more to at least give you a decent match.)
Jacob Griffin's arm was locked into the hammerlock, slapping at his arm with his free hand. When Matthias went to scoop him up, Jacob would attempt to throw a sharp back elbow. He hoped to clip Matthias in the side of the head and force him to release his hold on his arm. If he managed that then he would turn around and sweep low, trying to take Matthias off his feet with a leg sweep.

The elbow stiffens him up for a moment, giving Griffin the moment he needed to take him off his feet with the leg sweep.

(If you want to talk about anything the match just PM me. If you have concerns or whatever.)
Griffin managed to take the rook off his feet, a smile creeping on to his face. Griffin stood up tall over his downed opponent, looking to go a little old school on Matthias with the Garvin Stomp! The whole time Griffin would mock the boy to get to his feet as he stomped away.

Matthias was stomped head to toe to head again, trying to stand back up but repeatedly kicked down until he found a rope to pull himself up.

Jacob took a step back as Matthias made it to the ropes, allowing him to pull himself to his feet. He would quickly aim a sharp kick towards the middle of his opponent's back as soon as he was up. If he caught him clean then he would attempt to follow it up grabbing the back of Matthias' head and pushing his face into the top rope, dragging the poor rookie's face along it towards the nearest turnbuckle.

Matthias ate the kick right before getting his face scraped up on the way to the turnbuckle, Jacob was clearly willing to get dirty for this.

The canadian wrestler was always willing to use a dirty trick here and there to gain an advantage during a match. When Jacob finally got Matthias to the turnbuckle he would attempt to yank his head back by his hair and then quickly go to slam Matthias face into the top turnbuckle. If this attack worked then Jacob would wait to see how his opponent reacted to his face meeting with the rough pad before moving on to his next move.

Matthias had been bullied enough as a kid to see this coming. He'd kissed brick too many times not to. He grabbed the ropes and stopped himself from mashing in to the turnbuckle before throwing his weight behind an elbow aimed at the jaw.

Jacob thought he had Matthias dead to rights, but the b*****d stopped him and then that ungrateful young lad hit him with an elbow to his jaw. WHAT A DISRESPECTFUL YOUTH! The elbow caused Jacob to stager backwards as he tried to shake the cobwebs.
