It was sometime in the morning when Hard Truths made his way to the nearest grocery in Phony City. This grocery just so happened to have an open market stand out front that supplied a colorful array of fresh fruits and vegetables, their appealing aromas and appetizing appearances beckoning passing phonies near.
Truths had come there for one reason and one reason alone: to find fresh ingredients worthy of interesting and delicate teas pleasing the to taste palate of Jasmine Tea. The only problem was that he knew almost nothing about which fruits and vegetables would be favorable for tea ingredients. He preferred plain black coffee, after all.
Though he was willing to work for the produce he planned to procure, he needed the food in advance. He already had a set date scheduled for the picnic he had in mind and thus he needed to know exactly what to get, how much it would cost, and how much he would have to help out at the grocer's to repay that cost through time and labor. This was where the unicorn colt was at a loss.
Staring at the suddenly intimidating mounds of bright produce, Hard Truths fell back on his hindquarters, overwhelmed by the choices. The Cake Mage of Sheep ((I thought Golden Showers might be able to give him a tip or two. wink Let me know if you'd like me to change anything. ))

As luck would have it, Golden Showers was also headed to the same grocery shop. Instead of trading labor for produce, he had a deal to trade produce he'd harvested in the forest for the farm grown edibles the grocer carries. Today he is looking for fruits that will go well with his favorite drink, lemonade.
With his kind on the various fruits to be found, Golden doesn't see Truths until he bumps into the other babby. Backing up Golden looks at the other phony. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention. Are you ok?" He asks, worried he might have stepped on Truths.

The young unicorn looked up abruptly from the fruits as he was bumped into from behind and whirled around. "Hmph! Maybe you should watch where you're going next time," he answered grumpily. "Luckily for you, I'm fine. What have you got there?" Regarding the things the other young colt had with him, Truths noticed that they weren't like anything he saw for sale on the market stand. Where had he gotten them? Had he grown them himself?
