Andie was loving the new weapon he just got. No more fan for him. Now he had an awesome looking staff weapon and he felt healthier to boot! The first creature he came across he grinned and attacked head on with a kick. After all she'd been through lately, it was a small hope of Viae's to just... relax somewhere. Take in the views of the worlds around her. Contemplate further on what trials and tasks she'd gone through. Perhaps even ponder the people she'd met.
She'd taken to the wing, enjoying the feeling of air beneath her wings. Flying on her back, watching the sky-ceiling, she'd been paying zero attention to her surroundings. She figured nothing could hit her. She clearly had not been accounting for one influential factor:
Andie.
The damn thing came from above her. On a ledge higher up. It just fell off.
And landed right on her.
Viae let out a shriek of a roar, wings thrashing as she tried to untangle herself from the creature, and still somehow keep herself off the second ledge of rocks below.
She was not successful in the latter, but she at least managed the former. Kicking herself back into the air, her lips were pulled back from her fangs in a low, continuous hiss. She was going to kill whoever did that--!
"You." She spotted him. Andie. "You are dead--what is that?" Her spitting attention was now shifted to his new weapon. Oh he could just go jump off that cliff now.

Zanna Kosa found herself once again looking around for more monsters, simple weapon in her hands as she kept an eye on everything possible. She seemed to be efficient at killing these monsters, and so kill them she would, for the good of all of those around her. She had been a large boon to the ones with blue and red hearts she had ran into before, after all. She could be of assistance again...
And that drove her.
When she heard something of a yelp, Zanna jumped, heading immediately in the direction she heard the sounds coming from. It sounded like someone needed help, didn't they? But when she thought about it, that hiss sounded familiar--was that her fellow blue-heart she had met previously? It looked like her outline, able to make out the wings and tail she had picked out before. And was the same man from before up above?
They didn't sound too happy with each other; perhaps she should step in. "I'm not sure what this thing is, but perhaps we should focus on it." She offered, stepping in to take a swing at the monster. It wasn't ... terribly effective, it didn't look like, but her hit actually seemed to land. That was at least a start.
Though she had to admit, she was rather curious about what she saw in the red heart's hands herself... what was that? Had he gotten himself a new weapon, too? Zanna looked down at hers with a small frown, but focused her attention on defending herself from the monster's blows instead.

Andie peered down over the ledge that the creature had fallen when he kicked it and winced when it hit someone. The wince turned into a snicker very shortly when he realized just who he had hit, finding the irony in the situation more then amusing. "Sorry Viae. *snicker* I didn't think it would go over the side." He tried to pull off a sheepish look but couldn't stop chuckling. "What this? I just got this beauty." He grinned and cuddled his staff. He waved happily to Zanna when she showed up. "Agreed! We should completely focus on it and not have much of a target Viae apparently is." He said then jumped off the ledge with a "GERONIMO!" and landed on the creature before flipping off it. "I doubt that! Severely!" Her tone didn't change. She was a ball of rage and spitfire and it was all focused on him. The fact he was snickering at her, then cuddling a damn staff, nearly set her over the edge.
She wondered if she took him out, if items would remain where he'd been standing--
A voice of reason broke through her haze, and Viae turned somewhat in the air to see another shining blue core. It took her eyes a moment to sharpen the figure around it, and when she did she felt herself somewhat relieved to see Zanna. The woman had proven to be an asset before--even Andie had, though she was in no mood to admit it--and she found herself relenting a little in her rage towards the boy as the woman spoke. "Agreed. There will be time for retribution--are you trying to get yourself in an early grave?" Her voice was a shrieking roar, more than a tad pissed off at how he egged her on. Target like her.
Oh she was going to flay him.
Refocusing her rage into something productive, she tucked her wings close to her body and let herself drop onto the head of the creature, crashing it into the ground under the impact. It let out a shrill hiss and string of buzzing sounds. One of its hands reached around and gouged her thigh, though she managed to push herself up and off it before it could do more damage to her.
Ah yes. She very much enjoyed flight.

Zanna was, admittedly, relieved to see her fellow blue cored woman calm down. Good. If they were not outraged, then perhaps they could focus their efforts on the rather obvious problem in front of them--
Or not.
Zanna internally winced when the red cored one flung out the jab at the already irritated woman, knowing that it probably was not going to be taken as the tease it was--and she was right, what with the way that she seemed rather frustrated by it. She affected a gentle smile, raising her hands in the air and pressing them down to the ground as if to imply they should simmer down a bit. "There's a place for friendly teasing, but I don't think I'd recommend messing with anyone with a weapon."
She threw a wink in the direction of the man with the staff--seriously, how did he manage to obtain such a thing? It looked like it would be more useful to combat than what she was using now, though perhaps that much did not matter--and turned her attention back to the monster. It seemed that some of the rage was helping her kin land better hits...
Hm, maybe teasing her had its benefits.
Still, she wasn't going to encourage that much out loud, instead throwing another swing in the direction of the monster. Viae's words got one last snicker only as a response. Andie having decided for the moment that silence would probably be better then anything he would say. At least theoretically any way. When Zanna spoke up again he actually managed the sheepish look this time. He probably shouldn't mention that that might not count if they all have weapons right? He dashed over to the creature and went to kick it but had to abort and back flip away quickly when it came after him. A large part of her wanted to snarl out, I'm trying to towards Zanna, but Viae managed to silence the urge and instead focus on how the creature moved. Not how much she wanted to continue going after the boy.
She told herself repeatedly such annoying banter wasn't fun. Not remotely! Yet it took her a while to smoosh down the urge to smile, forcing out another hiss between her fangs instead. No part of this should entertain her. So why did it? A nagging bit at the back of her mind, but she pushed it aside. Useless.
Her gaze darted between her two companions, somewhat relieved to see they all seemed to be doing better now in this battle than before. Dare she assume they were getting better? Zanna certainly seemed more at ease with her blade.
As Andie flipped back out of the creature's range, Viae dipped down to slash the creature's--face? sorta?--with her fan. It at least seemed to confuse it for a moment.

The focus was beneficial, and it seemed to help them take out this monster just a bit faster.
Sure, the banter was fun... even she wouldn't deny enjoying a bit of teasing. But when the teasing had stopped completely, they seemed to start making some better hits on the thing. Perhaps it was best to focus their efforts on the thing in front of them. There would always be time for teasing later, yes?
Especially if they continued to survive against monsters like these. Zanna decided to do something a little more fun with her weapon, swirling it around in one hand before grasping onto it with both once again. Where should she attempt to hit this odd thing? Her kindred heart had managed to distract it, so maybe she should go for the legs while it was dizzied. That could work effectively. Yeah...
Zanna decided to give it a try, swinging a bit lower than her height would usually allow her. Unfortunately, it did seem she was a little tall to be attempting that kind of maneuver, and she found the hit she attempted to make was almost useless, barely nicking the monster in front of her.
Zanna frowned.

Was it just him or does it seem too quiet now that now one was talking. Andie was tempted to say something just to break the silence but held off for the moment. The girls seemed to be doing much better this time around and the creature was more or less steadily getting damaged. He moved in and kicked out at it but it managed to duck and he was forced to roll away again before he got hit instead. Viae had rage. And rage to spare.
Apparently if she couldn't take it out on her current teammate, she'd take it out on the monster that had knocked her out of the sky in the first place. Between her fan and her claws, she managed to slash a rather intricate pattern across the creature's chest. Much to her apparent delight. Even though she now sported a few more cuts along her arms, she was electric with her internal fuel.
Laughing outright as she took back to the sky, leaving the creature buzzing after her as it tried to grab her tail, she grinned to Andie and Zanna. In a most wicked, battle-hungry of fashions. "What's wrong? Getting tired? We're just starting!"

It did seem a bit quiet, didn't it?
Maybe the banter had its benefits, even if the rage that seemed to be building from her blue-hearted kindred spirit wasn't exactly the kind of thing she wanted to be encouraging. The silence made her a bit concerned, but at the same time, they were getting something accomplished, right?
Well, she had gotten barely anything accomplished, and the red-hearted had managed to succeed at little to nothing, but when her kindred heart swung, her eyes widened in surprise. Immediately, she could see that the monster was affected by the damage that she had put on it, noticing the way that the monster reacted rather unpleasantly to being swung at so harshly. Aha! Perhaps she had found the right way to strike. Zanna should try and mimic that and see if she could cause the same...
The grin on her face was wide from ear to ear, and Zanna couldn't help chuckling at her kindred's enthusiasm. "Fair enough! I'll give it another swing!"
Mimicking her did not give the kind of effective results Zanna hoped, instead just barely scrapping the monster once again. Zanna frowned. Was she not as good at this as she thought? Perhaps the first time she fought was just dumb luck. Perhaps this was not her purpose after all. Maybe she was not to become a goddess to protect others--

He grinned when Viae got a good hit in and really damaged the sucker. And at least Zanna got a hit it which was better then he had the last two times he had tried to attack. "Tired? Me? I don't think so!" Andie chimed in with a grin, glad the silence had been broken. "You're the one I'm worried will get tired old Lad-" Before he could finish bantering the creature turned on him and launched it's self at him. He yelped as he went down with it on top and trying to slash away at his face. He put and arm up to protect his face and it took the brunt of the attacks. Keep her better angle on the creature before them.... or abuse the fact Andie was down, and she was close to the fray?
She'd heard his 'old lady' snipe. She was fuming from it. But a part of her felt... smug? Age was experience, after all. Experience meant superiority. Right?
Right.
...well. Perhaps not as much as she would have liked.
Seeing Andie hit the deck, Viae managed to dive in between him and the claws of the oncoming creature, using her wings to sheild herself as she felt the sting of its attack slice into a scale and bone section. Her wings buffeted the creature back as she unfurled them. Not the damage she would have preferred, but she hadn't the proper time to set something up.
Glancing back to Andie, she offered him a hand to help him up. Only vaguely was she aware of how her wings had again curled, though this time more around him in a defensive form. "Careful where you're going, hatchling."
No there was no tone of affection beneath the mockery. None.
