It's Time To Duel!
These are the rules of Dueling! Two opponents, each participants will face their opponent on the designated starting line within the dueling ring. Once the signal to begin has been given the two duelist trade spells until only one is capable of continuing the match or one throws in the towel. This is a match of honor and integrity and will not be soiled with any attempts to kill ones opponent, you will show restraint and proper respect at all times or be disqualified from the match.
AC = 10
Each year adds a plus 1 to a players AC score. (Meaning a first year will get 10 AC to start, a 2nd year 11 AC.)
Being a member of the Dueling Club adds a plus 1 to AC
For every two classes of wandless magic practices add plus 1 to AC (as wandless magic is only good for combative situations and is taught to those who wish to pursue a more duel heavy life style)
A player who has received an E in their DADA O.W.L. adds plus 1 to AC, anyone who received an O adds plus 2 to AC. (OWL is really the only one that would play a part for Hogwarts I feel, NEWT would only effect things outside school.)
A player roles a D20 to find out if they hit the opponent. The player hits if their role goes over the player’s final AC score, a tie is always a win for the player being attacked, If the player hits then they make a follow up post and roll a (insert damage number dice here) to show how much damage is dealt.
HP
A first year students starts with a basic HP of 20, and goes up 10 points for each successive year.
Hit modifiers
Plus 1 for every two years in school
Plus 1 for being a member of the Dueling Club
Plus 1 for every year of Wandless Magic Practice classes (being a more aggressive mindset set of lessons there is a greater bonus to offense then defense here)
Plus 1 for E in DADA O.W.L.
Plus 2 for O in DADA O.W.L.
On a player’s turn they can choose to…
1. Attack
2. Defend and Attack
3. Heal
A player may only choose to heal if they have gone passed the year for learning the basic healing spell Episky.
