He'd actually been tailing it for a bit, slipping along as silently as he could, watching it. Thinking about it. Maybe that's what happened when they managed to take all your memories away.Poor b*****d, then. It was inevitable that it would become aware of him, and when it did, he didn't hesitate. She had been drifting again, venturing further away from her goddess to seek out blessings when she saw the the battlers. Though she didn't have a weapon yet, she felt the compelling need to help them, as if she knew them in a way.
Or as if they were some sort of comrades. But she didn't know why. PIcking up a rock from the distance, she threw it, hitting the creature lightly. The flurry of shots caught his attention, and at first Rojand thought it was Loa. He'd lost track of the kid at some point, and he didn't know why, but he felt weirdly guilty about that. He headed towards the sound, and found that it was Amity instead, Amity and some girl Rojand didn't recognize. The creature they were fighting was staggering, surprised by the shots, and Rojand managed to get in close without being spotted; he sank the jagged blade deep into its back with a small wordless hum of satisfaction. It didn't matter that it clawed at him afterwards. He'd hurt it. He backed off and nodded to the others by way of greeting. Rojand didn't have the benefit of range the way the other two did, but getting in close meant that he could use his strength to full effect, and he did, bringing the blade down into the thing's body, then ripping it back out in a jagged ascending slice, even as the thing made a high thin sound and flailed at him. Vaneda had to chuckle at the more talkative of the two.

At first she was a little off put by his grouchiness.
Instead she gave him a lazy smile, dropping the rock she was going to use and saluted him. It looked the creature was over with anyways.
"I can do that Handsome." Where his was condescending, her's was flirty. "There's nothing more enjoyable about watching good looking guys do the work." The words seemed natural to her to say, so she just let it go. "I'm Vaneda by the way." She turned to nice of the two, cocking her head. "Guns! I will try that. Thank you!"
Stepping in closer, she bent down picking up two objects. "Thanks for the treasure." She added with a saucy wink before heading out.

Rojand stifled a laugh and made sure he wasn't smiling when Amity looked back at him. Instead, he plucked pieces out of the thing's carcass. "That was fun. Or something."
