Reap was weirded out more than a little by the beeping, helloing cat monstrosity that waddled out of the fog towards them. He drew his sword and dropped into the now familiar battle stance - a stance that oddly didn't seem to fit the weapon he wielded very well. "Well it can ******** keep it's hellos."
Swinging off into tangental statements felt somehow normal to Reap and he didn't think anything of following the statement up with a comment. "When you touched those stupid things. The glowies. What did you see?" he asked, only half paying attention to the battle at hand.

Itoto sauntered through the fog, muttering about overly enthusiastic weirdos when he heard an unsettling repetition of words. A greeting repeated over and over again. The boy stopped, finding himself amongst two others and a strange, unsettling creature. "Freakin' Hell..." He mumbled, bringing out his sword. "Oh well.. swag is swag." At least it wasn't the Processor again. Dashing past the taller two figures, the short one slashed at the kitty cat, getting himself kicked in the shin on the way by. "Hello!" Viola'i chirped loudly as she bounced onto the scene, akin to how the creature itself introduced itself on occasion... and uttered every so often. Probably not the best of greetings, but it was simply enough.
Might have been better if she hit the creature though. "Different things. Noises, words, a lot. Most of them were almost my voice. None of it made any sense though. One of them said, Filesharing. That one has part of my name in it. One of them said Adollar. Something about a server. One asked me not to leave. I think they were making fun of me. But the goddesses wanted them. Maybe to make stuff with, I don't know."
His brow furrowed, concerned.
"There's been other stuff. I've seen, and figured out, I'm sure of it, but I can't...it's like...I've lost it."
Two other figures jumped in, and he grumbled an awkward, "Hi."
It was awkward because the creature kept saying it too. It was like he was adding to the neverending chain of greetings.

More people arrived to help fight the creature and Reap gave them respective nods. More help was fine, as long as they didn't decide he was good prey afterwards. "Yo."
"Same for me, it was all fuzzy and s**t. Most of them were really not ******** nice. Swearing and s**t. One just said Ace. I think its like a card game thing?" though he wasn't sure what card games were either. Sometimes it was like following a thread that seemed to be tied to something but when you got to the end there was nothing but air beyond it.
"It was ******** weird. What do the goddesses want with all that horrible s**t anyway?"

A friendly bunch, or something like it. They had at least greeted in kind and that was enough to make the small shadow girl smile; thankfully not uttering another hello to the group. They had other things on their mind, a discussion about things.
She had to admit she was curious as well about what they were talking about, the memories and the Goddess' intent with them. "Very odd things to take." She simply said as she swung back and punch the thing with her weapon.

Ironshare looked wary, but explained plainly, like he was talking to a heartless creature.
"They're the most powerful creatures here. If they want objects, they've got to be worth something, right?"
He helped out with the creature.
"Maybe if we hit it enough, it'll say goodbye."

"Anything? How do you know the s**t you are getting is worth more than what you are losing? They might be keeping us nothing but peons forever." Reap shot the short dude a critical look, not sure how he felt about that level of certainty. "I'm just leery is all."
He fought as if he was on autopilot, deeply ingrained habits at this point.
For whatever reason though, Iron's comment hit a nerve and not a negative one either. Reap wasn't even sure why he found the goodbye comment so hilarious. But he did. It was probably the first time he'd laughed properly since he'd appeared in this world.

Eidhis grew tired of wandering around. She kicked a rock and something echoed. It sounded like a greeting, but distorted and awful to listen to. She headed towards the commotion and saw beings attacking the creature. 'another one?!' She thought to herself. "Hi there!" She said to the others who were battling. It might have not been such a good idea to do greetings now. Being distracted caused her punch to miss the beast. Viola'i threw another punch at the kitty creature as the boys seemed to keep going on in their philosophical debate about the items they were collecting. Personally, she just liked collecting them and hoped there would be a means to keep some of the items she had scavenged.
The answers though, and the return investment in this collecting and offering was something she wasn't sure about. Because too many of her questions went unattended to. "I'm sure we'll find out soon enough," she stated in a sing songy voice. "I hope."
