From piano-playing in some hotel to this. Sarviur seemed rather nonplussed, though, and joined the familiar looking girl at her task of hacking away at some strange square-headed thing. He rose with a kick to meet it, though, since his kicks had so far seemed far more effective than punches or slaps, and was pleased to hear again the sound of his hoof connecting. But it was hard-skinned, and kicking it was definitely painful. Okay. He brought his hands up in front of his adrenaline-filled core, and prepared to hit it again. "Well," he started to say-- "... That looks big. And even more satisfying," he offered, trying to find some way to tempt Coyote into following him into the fray. Because, ashamed though he was, he felt safer with someone else around. Someone who smiled when they kicked a talking computer in the face, namely. Without waiting for her confirmation, he plunged into the little fray, getting a heavy-handed swipe for his trouble, but managed to kick the thing in the... shin (?). Dignified! But effective. Licraesa entered the fray, spear in one hand, her body crouched low to the ground. Launching the weapon at the mob, the grey woman grinned sharply in response to a hit. She dashed in closer, her blue-pendant pulsating a staccato beat. "It will be over, soon," she said to it, yanking the spear from its body. "The Goddess will have you as sacrifice." "yes, yes it does." There may, or may not, have been a small half smile playing on Coyote's lips as she raced after Amity, and darted forward to attempt her own strike on the.. Well, she wasn't sure what it was, but at least it wasn't a computer screen again! She may have been a little too hasty though, as she received a solid thwack to the side of her head, instead of the satisfaction of a well placed hit of her own. Alas! Luckily she didn't let her miss get to her and her next hit landed and did a fair amount of damage. "You!" he said suddenly. He was pointing at Licraesa, or more specifically at the thing around her neck. He got a swipe to the back of his head for his troubles, and reeled out of the way with a feeble, failing attempt to retaliate. Seeing Coyote dive in brought him back to his senses, and seeing her fail made him feel compelled to show her up again. Which he did. Or at least, his fist landed on the thing, albeit without much gusto. It barely seemed to notice. "Ha!" Gloating! Also mature. There were people all around him, and their hearts seemed to all pulse at once. A good thing! He recognized Licraesa and Navya but none of the rest. There was no time for ruminating, though; Sarviur had to hit it again lest it knock them out. Except all that happened was that its arm reached out, long, longer than Sarviur had thought possible, and it wrenched Sarviur backwards - he hissed as he landed, bracing himself on the floor and turning to face it again. It was a good thing that the rest of the crowd seemed to be faring better than he! Amity's sudden declaration brought Coyote's attention whipping around, and she stared blankly at him before looking towards where he was pointing. Pale eyes landed on the pendant, and she gave a small, possibly hopeful gasp. Obviously, with her attention not on the monster, she was leaving herself wide open for any sort of attack, which came in the form of a sharp jab to her back. It made her stagger, and she gave a grunt of pain before straightening. "We've got those, too," she managed, rubbing at her back with one hand before raising the pendent around her own neck. A fast learner, she kept flicking glances at the lock headed thing that was currently attacking them, even as she talked to the other figure with the blue necklace. "Just like Coyote--" Oh for chrissakes, Amity, focus, your real-world counterpart would be ashamed of your lack of awareness--as a great big swing of clanking feet caught him in the back and very nearly sent him sprawling. He clearly couldn't talk and fight at the same time. Really he couldn't do anything and fight at the same time, because he couldn't fight, but that was beside the point. There was discussion of pendants, and Sarviur turned. The group all had strange, glowing blue ones, unlike his own black tag. " Were those a reward from your Goddess?" he asked. His hadn't been...not directly, anyway. And his was different. Perhaps the yellow Goddess, whatever she ruled over, gave different gifts. While he was caught up, the monster swept him to the ground. He grimaced, and grabbed at its foot, pounding repeatedly. It didn't seem to affect it much, but it looked like his action had done something. A small victory, then. " Take that," he murmured.
