I accept your challenge, for I am bored as hell right now. > o <;; Only under one condition, that you can only use techniques your RPC knows.
After waking up from his sleep, Kesshō woke up late in the night and went outside of his house. He stood there, looked at the night sky and went back into the house. Kesshō went in his room to put his clothes on. After that, he went into the bathroom to freshen up. Kesshō was almost done with his preparation of his midnight stroll. He got his weapons, grabbed [5] bags of chips, went outside, locked the door, and set off into the empty streets. Kesshō ended up wandering in the forest. He dropped a chip on the ground every 3 yards to find his way back. Kesshō was eventually lost in the forest, with a small trail he left behind. Kesshō quietly spoke, "Wow... look at all those fireflies. It just lights up the forest. It looks so beautiful on a full moon." He then caught one and it would crawl on his skin. Kesshō thought in his head, "I wonder what their lights are made out of..." as the firefly flew away from his arm.

The sun had taken its slumber under the horizon, allowing the moon to reign the sky, accompanied with many stars that brightened up the black void beyond them. Within a dense forest, fireflies offered their natural light to the Earth, mini glowing spheres of green igniting the dark forest in a dimly bright light, revealing the hardened trunks that have been rooted into the earthen ground beneath. No matter how dark the night was, there was always something willing to offer their light, as if the sun never slept, but only evolved into the appropriate visuals of light for night. That's what made the night so special, and why Kiteko enjoyed being under the skies at night. He gazed into the billions of stars in the sky, as he laid peacefully upon a tree trunk near the very top of the tree, his body covered within his Crimson cloak, other than his arms, which held a book he had been reading moments ago. A soft sky escaped his lips, as he let his body roll off the side of the tree trunk, and fall freely towards the ground. His cloak flew off his figure, only to dangle behind him, for it was still attached to him. Putting his book away in a small pack on his back, he spread his arms and legs, feeling the rushing of the wind against his falling body. Not many people could pull such amazing stunts as Kiteko could, and many would probably call him insane for purposely falling off of a tree from such a height, but it was something that just came naturally to him- almost. Instinctively grabbing a distant tree branch off to his right, he would let go only a second later to propel his body into a rapid spin. By this time, he would be nearly twenty feet away from the ground, and quickly approaching. Even while spinning, he was capable of staying focused on his surroundings, letting his body ram into weaker branches, snapping them with ease, before grabbing onto a larger branch about ten feet from the ground. Using the momentum from his fall, his body swung forward with such a force, Kiteko had to let go of the branch, ending his fall with a simple back flip, before sticking the landing.
A few distant sounds of nocturnal animals echoed through the forest as Kiteko took a moment to look around. The forest was such a lovely place to be, where he could himself- free. Raising his hands to his head, he motioned them around the contours of his head, before turning his head in several directions, a cracking sound following behind each turn of the head. He let out a relaxing sigh, before adjusting his cloak back around his body, and raising the hood over his head. His katana was placed snugged against his back, the hilt clearly visible from outside of the cloak. With that, Kiteko began walking in a random path within the forest. The soft tapping of his feet against the earthen ground was soon disturbed by a loud crunching sound. Kiteko instantly looked down, and noticed a trail of, what looked like chips, that led deeper into the forest. As curious as Kiteko had always been, he would not let a moment like this pass by, following the trail of chips, wondering where they might lead. About fifty or more chips later, Kiteko would notice the back of a figure about fifteen feet away in his path. It was too dark to see who it might be, or whether the person was a friend or foe, but Kiteko was not willing to find out, and preferred to avoid people, especially when in a forest at night. Taking a single step off to the right, his foot landed on a rather large chip that produced a loud crunching sound, that was capable of alerting the figure ahead. Kiteko cursed himself, nearly frozen in place, waiting to see if the figure would turn around or ignore the sound.

While analyzing the fireflies in the forest, Kesshō was hearing strange crunching noises from afar. Immediately, he knew there was someone or something there. The noise would get closer and closer to him. Kesshō thought in his head, "Man, not my chips! I need those to get back to the village! I'll just see who that wise guy that crunched all of my chips is." and then Kesshō would hear a loud crunching sound close to him. Kesshō turned his head and his eyes would glow Neon Blue as his arms would engulf in glowing Purple Lightning that would light up his entire arm. Kesshō asked the random being hidden in the forest, "Who are you -- and why did you crunch up my chips?!" Then the lightning engulfing his arms would brighten and speed up, traveling very quickly, lighting up the night forest with an even stronger light. [Battle Theme Plays]

Kiteko watched as the figure turned around, his appearance revealed due to the sudden light emitting from his body. His eyes glowed a bright blue, and purple lightning currents surrounded his arms, surging with anger, lighting up the forest within their area. He had only stepped on a single chip, but that was enough to make this ninja upset. Kiteko took a few steps back, a confused look on his face, a little surprised at the ninja's sudden reaction. "It was an accident. I just saw the trail of chips and thought I'd follow them. A trail of chips is rather mysterious, especially in a forest at night." He didn't understand why he was even trying to talk to the guy, he seemed to already have made up his mind to fight. Either way, he wasn't going to accept the fact that he had already threatened him with such an appearance of his jutsu prowess, and he wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of running away. There was no other option but to fight, and deep within himself, another force was demanding him to. Kiteko's single Crimson eye gazed into the neon blue orbs of the ninja before him, "I see you have already made up your mind... I can't deter you from it, so I guess there is no reason to communicate through words anymore..." That sentence was just enough to buy him time to think up a small plan. He wasn't sure what the ninja was capable of, nor what rank he was. Without any further delay, Kiteko took off to the left, skillfully climbing up the nearby tree, covered with a heavy layer of leaves and branches. Of course, this may have made him look like a coward to the other ninja, but Kiteko didn't really care what the ninja thought of him at the moment. He was rather skilled in using his surroundings, and therefore he would stick to his strengths until future events cause him to do something else.
Kesshō thought in his head, "Got damn it. I gotta have a nicer look on my face when I confront people. I just scared the guy off. All I wanted to do was get him to answer me." When Kesshō saw the ninja climb up into a tree, he knew that ninja was planning something sneaky. With the glow of his Neon Blue eyes and the glow of his Purple Lightning, Kesshō could see where exactly the ninja was. "So you're a scouting type ninja, am I right? You play hide-and-seek, until you've figured out my plan." said Kesshō before he quickly wavered a few hand seals and thought in his head, "Man, it really didn't have to be this way. I wasn't even ready to fight. Well if it has to be like this, I'll just light up the forest with a *new* light." Kesshō then made the last hand seal and yelled out, "Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!" as a massive White fireball rushed into the tree Kesshō's target was in, and all the other trees around it.

As Kiteko's body became completely hidden within the thick bushel of leaves, he stood on a branch, and face his enemy from above. The light was so bright, it was impossible to remain invisible to the ninja down below, but that wasn't his concern at the moment. Kiteko looked down upon the ninja who stood there before speaking. He shook his head, his facial expression looking more uninterested by the second. This shinobi wasn't as smart as he appeared to be. "Wrong. Hide-and-Seek is a game for academy students, and obviously I'm not on that level..." He paused, noting the series of hand seals the ninja started to make. He couldn't make out what hand seals were being made, but the large fireball expelling from his lips was enough for him to figure out which jutsu he was using. Scaring me from this tree is not an option. His final thoughts within his head, as he too began weaving hand seals just as the fireball was beginning to make its advancement towards him. With the final seal, he placed his hand along the side of his mouth, letting the chakra mold itself deep within, and build up into his lungs, until being released out of his mouth, mimicking the element of intense flames, forming into a fireball. He found it odd that this shinobi's fire element was white, but there was no time to comment on such a eye-catching display. Letting his fireball form before him, soon it was expelled, clashing with the fireball created by the other Shinobi. Despite the technique being the same, Kiteko's fireball was much larger and more powerful than the other shinobi's, for he possessed stronger Katon chakra. His fireball easily overpowered the shinobi's practically devouring it, before continuing forward, heading straight for the shinobi. Kiteko managed to protect the tree he was in, and the ones surrounding, but he couldn't stay in this spot for long. Taking advantage of the massive fireball obstructing the shinobi's view of him, he leaped across several branches, into different trees, further down into the forest.

Technique Used: C Rank - Katon: Gokakyu no Jutsu [Fireball Jutsu]
After Kesshō created his Fireball, his opponent created another Fireball in response to it. Kesshō's fireball was overpowered by his opponent's fireball. In his head, Kesshō thought to himself and said, "Tsk, I'll show him how a real fireball looks!" But he didn't want to reveal a technique of such power yet so he placed both his already charged arms outwards and created two large shields of spiraling light, one behind the other, to defend himself against the the fireball. The fire would hit the shield, and start to spiral until the flames were eventually put out. Kesshō would deactivate the shields after the flames subsided. After the flames would subside, the leftover fire would ignite the forest, causing it to burn.

MEEP! Even though this is just an OOC battle, I'm just trying to keep things realistic, since mostly, it applies to the guild rules. Despite the technique you just used being a defensive move, the technique itself in rank is weaker compared to the attack you are clashing with. As stated in the rules, in a jutsu clash, the jutsu of higher ranking would overpower the lower ranking one. So in reality (say, if this were a real match) you'd receive some damage from the fireball, and would possibly severely burn your arm, if not devour your entire body afterwards. I just thought I'd point this out to you before we continue. You are free to change your post, or we can just continue as is considering this is only an OOC match. Just let me know, and then we shall continue.

● Puraton would always outclass regular Katon and Raiton of the same Rank. ...and how did you completely overpower my Katon? White Flames are second hottest flames. My Plasma Release Bloodline makes my Katon attacks stronger.
