Nothing did, I just couldn't afford to blow every bill in my wallet in one go haha. It's my next thing to buy for sure aside from a controller charger, I like to look into games before I get them ^^

I look at tons of gameplay footage and then contemplate on the purchase I end up knowing way to much about some games even if I don't have the right system xD But with BlazeBlue I was a little unsure about going for the newer game. Seems like they have a lot of story put into it's predecessors. And there's a TON of characters, it's a lot to just "read up on" and be okay...

Blazblue: Continuum Shift Extended.... It has a special story arc that explains very clearly what went down in the previous game. You can think of that arc as kind of like a sotry narration, since it doesn't have TOO many fights, but you get into the action, since it still has the important fights. You ARE welcome to play Calamity Trigger, but when you try to lear ALL the stories, you're going to spend an eternity.

I mean, it's giving you a huge recap of the events of calamity trigger, without the confusion.... But in terms of content, it has everything you will ever need.

Has anyone ever tried to complete the character specific trohpies?
I think the hardest trohpie of them all was with Ragna's "Power of the Azure" Trophy; where you needed to perform a 90+ hit combo with Ragna.

but back to your topic, i think it's lost its appeal since guilty gear is making a comeback. i know, totally different games, but they are developed by the same company, right? i might be wrong.

if you know street fighter characters, i play a lot of abel and dictator If it's about that set, you want Ragna. Although his damage is average, his combos rate is incredibly high. I don't think I've ever faced a Ragna who HASN'T pressured me. Although, there is another option. Hakumen. His drive, if landed, is all about pressure. It's a combo starter. I try not to rely on it, though, since alot of people KNOW what might happen if they can't defend against Hakumen <3
