The thread where users who don't actively post here in the guild, because I'm interested in why you prefer to go elsewhere. Quote: 1) Why?
2) Would competitions, with and without prizes, get you to be more active?
3) Are there too many worlds to choose from? To few?
4) If not a competition, what would you enjoy doing in the guild?
EDIT: Those who have at least one post from three months or less can put their results in the other thread. This one is more related to those who haven't posted for 6 months to a year to...never. sweatdrop

Quite honestly, it's a few issues.
1) I can't keep up with the storyline. I have no idea what is going on and no matter how many times Javier tries to explain it to me, it comes out as gobble-de-gook to me.
2) I can't seem to keep Doctor and Capt. Jack rp-ers. I don't understand why.
3) I like the worlds but few hold interest for me admittedly. Is the Kingdom Hearts world ever going to get going? That one is just dead.
And 4) I have not been posting in the last year or so due to having university commitments and work to attend to. These took priority over everything else, online and real life.

1) I have to agree with Alpha above me. I have tried on many occasions to start Roleplaying in this guild but have been stopped by the fact that it confused me greatly.
2) I feel limited in the fandoms i cod be Roleplaying in. It seems as if there are only seven fandoms are available and the only ones that are actually active are fandoms I'm currently not a part of. And the active ones aren't all that active either.
3) I have seen writing forums in other guilds where they can free write, or be given a promt and they seem to be a hit. I would personally love to see more of these.

1) Why? well,Right now my time is limited and don't have time in a guild.
2) Would competitions, with and without prizes, get you to be more active? Sure.If they talk about things that interesting..
3) Are there too many worlds to choose from? To few? well,I can't explain how many.
4) If not a competition, what would you enjoy doing in the guild? Sure. If you explain how to re-play.

1) I was offered the chance to be in this guild so I took it
2)Yeah that would be cool...
3) That's a hard one honestly there might be a few too many but, at the same time there should be as many as we want
4) Personally I can't think of anything off hand

1) I joined back when the TSF was still big because I enjoyed talking to the folks there and Javier invited me to join, but I don't really RP.
2) Probably not, it might be cool though.
3)I really don't know what's going on in any of the worlds here and don't know where or how to jump in.
4)I don't know.

1) It's intimidating - I have no idea where to jump in or how to jump in. Or... yeah yeah I think you get my point.
2) Likely not.
3) I don't think so. I just can't figure out how to join in one.
4) Not that I can think of.... but then again I'm exhausted at the moment.

1. I'm busy mostly. I'm currently a college student in the middle of attempting to transfer schools and set up an internship-- tie this in with trying to get a job on top of the Summer classes I'm taking, and free time isn't exactly a copious thing I have. crying
2. Possibly is the best answer I can give for this one. It depends entirely on what they're on-- whether they hold my interests or not-- and whether I can squeeze it in time wise.
3. There are quite a few to choose from, so that makes it hard, I admit. I'm the sort who reads the plot and rules etc. thoroughly before jumping in, so with so many different areas to choose from, that's a lot to read-- and I already mentioned the whole lack of free time. Plus, it's hard to tell whether the areas I'd want to join would be active or not if I did, while others that I know are active I'm just not too keen on (nothing personal to the fandom of course!).
I think a good solution to this would be to keep the areas that are active, but maybe archive the ones that aren't active? Hear me out here. Having so many areas to post is great in theory, however, if a large portion of series' areas are empty, then it could be argued that they're taking up space, and undoubtedly said they're intimidating those trying to browse around the guild. Archiving the inactive areas will make the guild tidier, and encourage newbies, as well as us inactive members, to look around without overwhelming them with information.
Polls or threads could be used to determine which series and such people would like to see added as a new area to post in-- and threads could be either unarchived or made anew from there. This would help to encourage more activity in the guild.
4. Hmmm... Well, if I could find a fandom I really liked, I'd like to post in the RP, even with my tight schedule. A Professor Layton area would be a dream! XD Beyond that, I like posting art, and if there was a games section of the forums, those are always fun to post around...
Hope that helps! OAO

UPDATE: ALL above posts have been read so far. Thank you so much. We do have something a games area, but it's in Alliance games, stress relief, and OOC offices. *8th down, below Chitchat, above Lower elements Police* I understand. :3 Ah. Your interested lied with people. :3 Will definitely attempt a few competitions. Roleplaying? There should an updated mini guide to it. I've been working on expanding that, but I'm the only one apparently. sweatdrop Convoluted storyline..gotcha. Convoluted storyline, lack of dedicated RP'ers. Thank you all so much! While I do understand your concerns, only a few of them are definitely quick fixes. Others, like the storyline, are a tangled collection that require serious overhaul. I'll see if I can nix some of those untouched worlds or least have someone who was directly involved in the plot explain them. You've all been of immense help, and I thank you for your time in participating in this survey. I'd tip you all, but I can't tip in a guild. heart

1) a) I am starting college in a few weeks and I have a new job where I am currently working several hours a day on an irregular schedule. b) I have been in this guild for a long time, and when I left it, it was in bad shape. There were few active members, and the ones who were were for the most part either very difficult for me to understand (no one's fault), outright offensive, passive-aggressive bullies, or all of the above. c) I have considered quitting several times, but unfortunately I've found that some threads that I originally posted are still used. If I were to quit, I would delete all of my old posts first, but I also do not wish to destroy foundations that others use.
2) I cannot imagine a likely scenario where they would, but I recognize the general strategy as a good one.
3) I stopped counting after our dear Captain deleted the guides I put hours of work into when he decided to change the subforums without warning or notice.
4) I would enjoy RPing but only at the semi-lit level. I'd like to be more flexible, but semi-lit is the only thing that does not give me headaches trying to comprehend. I also would enjoy recruitment and activity brainstorming and hosting RP events, but only if I were given some reason to believe my efforts would not be wasted.
