So clique, what do you think of feminism?
I'm pretty much up for anything that isn't taken to the extreme.
For instance, I won't call myself a feminist simply because when I do,
other women expect me to not defend men.
And I will.
I feel that justice has to be done on either side, and I try my best not to hold any prejudices.
I bring it up because today my teacher got charged with raping a girl in my class.
I think it's bogus. The girl (no names were given but I have a 95% mentality that I know who it is) in question is sleazy, obsessed with him, and batshit crazy.
To make matters worse, he was just about to get married.
He's the most trustworthy guy and I regularly study and take classes in rape behavior/murder behavior.
She shows no signs of being a rape victim. She reported it now? It happened weeks/months ago supposedly.
And now his life is over. Who will hire a supposed rapist as a teacher?
Who would marry him?
I feel so awful for him.
And I'm not usually one to victim blame.
And yet my friend (super feminist...not that I have had a problem with that until now) is still taking the victims side.
She has been studying rape statistics; women as victims for up to 6 years now.
She's giving me a lot of stats about reported rapes vs rapists out there...
but I feel that they don't add up.
I have a gut feeling that he's innocent.
I really do.
