"Alex let go of my hand," Willow managed to say in between sobs. Even though her mom had told her to remain calm she was a good deal shaken up by all of this.

Alison frowned, Alex was such a trouble maker are times. She gave Willow's hand a good squeeze. "I've got you," she smiled reassuringly.

Willow sniffled and returned the squeeze. She was doing her best to dry it up but just about EVERYTHING made her cry.

"Do you know when she let go of your hand?" Victoria tried to keep the worry out of her voice. Normally she was fine with the group getting separate but at this particular moment- not so much fine with it.

Willow shook her head.

"Auden I want you to take your sisters the rest of the way to the park and wait for me there. I'm going to backtrack and try and find Alex."

Auden nodded his head and opened his mouth to speak when he was cut off by his mother raising her hand.

"I'm giving each and every one of you permission to do what's necessary to keep yourselves safe." Victoria kissed her three children on the forehead and walked away.

Victoria and her children had been at the grocery store they frequented when all this went down and that is where she would start her search.

Auden tugged on Alison. "Come on. It won't do us any good standing around in the street. Let's do as told and get to the park and wait for her there."

Alison nodded her head in agreement. "Willow everything will be just fine." She squeezed her sisters hand for reassurance.

Willow nodded her head.

Alison pulled a blanket from her bag and spread it out on the grass. "Are you two hungry?" She was trying to keep the day flowing in a normal as possible way. "Mom fixed and packed us some sandwiches and cups of fruit."

Willow sat down on the blanket and pulled her knees to her chest. She was still all sniffles and trying to calm herself down. "I'd like some grapes please. I know she packed some green ones."

Alison hummed softly as she searched the bag for the green grapes. She was completely shaken up by all of this but she refused to show it for the sake of Willow. Even if her sister was not verbally expressing it her body language gave it away just how scared she was.

"You two stay here. I want to give this place a once over." With that Auden went to poke around the park. After looking inside a couple of sides he noticed someone else approaching the park.

Auden went towards the pair of people and squinted to get a better look. He couldn't make out faces but he could make out body shapes. He recognized Xander almost immediately. "Hey!" He called out and waved his arms to get their attention. Boy did it feel good to see someone you knew amongst all the chaos.

For a brief moment Auden watched as Xander struggled. He knew what it felt like to struggle. He was lucky to have the ability to create a pair of legs even if they were that of a horse.

Determined to be of some help he trotted down the hill. "I've never attempted to carry anyone on my backside but I'm willing to try for a friend," he offered once they were in earshot.

"I'm going to do my best to not drop you. But I haven't ever done this before," he paused and glanced back up the hill, "not even for my sisters. So no promises." He looked back at Xander and grinned.

He glanced at Cass when he heard her question him. "Yeah my sisters are just up that hill." He was not entirely sure how much help they would be but he knew they would offer to help regardless.

"Alison! Willow!" He called out to get their attention.

Alison couldn't see anything for the playground equipment however she didn't panic because it didn't sound like her brother was in trouble. "Come on Willow let's go see what he wants."

Willow frowned as she sat her grapes down. "Okay, lets go."

With that the two headed down the hill to meet up with their brother. It was about mid way down when Alison recognized the pair with her brother. "Xander!"

Alison and Willow took one side while Cass took the other. It all started out fine. They at least had the boy centered on Auden's back. Now came the fun part, trying to stand up.

"Ready," Alison said as she moved around to her brother's rear and Willow moved to the front. They were both ready to push him into a standing position and steady him until he had it.

Auden nodded his head. He attempted with his front legs first. Forcing his back to arch and all the weight to slide to where human met horse. He groaned as he found himself forced downwards. He was not going to give it up.

"Come on you can do it," Willow encouraged.

Auden tried one more. This time he forced his back legs up at the same time he used his front ones. His back sagged making it appear he was putty.

Alison and Willow both turned around and put there backs into it. They both grunted as they tried to heave there brother into a standing position.

Auden managed to straighten his back to were he looked normal. For a second all was normal. But then Xander started to wobble. And as he wobbled Auden wobbled.

He lifted a hoof and forced it into the ground to steady himself. When that didn't work he forced a second front hoof into the ground.

"No no no," Willow ran around to the side the moment she felt Auden sway. She too planted her feet into the ground. With all her upper strength she tried to push Xander back onto Auden.

Alison jumped back the moment she heard a loud sickening pop. She tripped over a tuff of weeds and tumbled onto her butt. Her wings ruffled in the proccess. She watched helplessly as Auden collapsed.

"My joints," Willow whimpered. She was useless from the elbows down until she got them put back in place... That was if they could be found. Chances were they were under 400 pounds of horse and seal. She started to cry but not out of pain. She just cried to cry.

Auden's eyes rolled when he felt the pain run through his back. The pain was enough to break all concentration he had to keep this form. He suddenly felt himself shift. He helplessly flipped his siren tail.

From nearby, a girl shouted in alarm.
"Hey! Stay put! I've got a way to help!" she called to them as a brilliant idea struck.

She dashed away but there was soon a loud beeping and an engine noise as not ten minutes later, the girl arrived with one of the only motorized vehicles in the town - a sort of mini-forklift, which was kept at the hardware store but used by all the shops and the hatchery in moving and rearranging stock. The strange brown-haired girl pushed down the flat of it and carefully got it under the flopping siren and the poor seal boy, then made it lift them up.

Toxy had found the forklift VERY interesting and had wanted one but hadn't had a way to get it properly. So now here was a good excuse! It wasn't as fun as it'd looked but it was kinda fun. She sort of parked it and darted over to Cass and there girls. She pushed a bit at Auden and Xander from the front to check they were on the thing right and then picked up Willow's arms and her bag and handed the arms and joints to Alison, still holding the bag on her arm because she'd forgotten it and Alison couldn't hold that much.

"There! You guys get on the back and um." she pointed at Cass now. "You can drive! You're a grownup! Take them to the Hospital! It's over there! That's where you take sick people!" she flailed a little and put her hands on Willow's sides to help her onto the back of the forklift since she couldn't hold on.

"Get in, get in."

Cass pinched her nose between her thumb and forefinger, trying to stave off a migraine. Who the heck was this strange and where had them come from with heavy machinery? This whole damned realm was just a load of nonsense every time she came here.

There was nothing to be done though but to try and get everyone to the hospital was quickly as possible. Also as safely given that most of them couldn't take much more jostling about. That wasn't exactly easy given that Cass had never driven anything like this before and spent most of her time sailing not behind the wheel of motorized vehicle.

Xander was trying to curl in on himself, wanting very badly to just disappear right now. Auden's reassuring words were a small comfort though. At least the older boy didn't hate him for this accident. Trying to ignore the unexpected and unusual ride Xander focused instead on how much he wished he had proper legs and how this wouldn't have happened if he did. Not that he didn't like this form but it was so very often inconvenient.

Alison wrapped her arm around her sister and pulled her towards her. She made soft cooing noises. "Everything is going to be alright." She refused to admit otherwise.

Willow leaned into Alison and rested her head on her chest. Too worked up to speak she nodded her head as conformation. "What about mom?" She asked having a moment of thought. "She come back and we'll be gone."

Alison did her best to hide her surprise. "She's resourceful. If she can find Alex then I'm sure she can find us." She smiled and started to hum softly.

Auden was not exactly thrilled by this contraction and the way it moved. But it was caring the lot of them and for that he was thankful. He glanced over at Xander and realized how miserable he looked. He inwardly frowned. Wanting to help a friend had turned into a disaster.

He pondered for a moment what made things better. Then it dawned on him. Hugs! When any of them were feeling down mom hugged them. Despite the plan and scooted closer to Xander and gave him a hug.

Victoria with Alex in toe returned to the park. Looking for where her kids set up she scanned the park. She went pale and fear washed over her. She did not see them anywhere. She quickly made her way up the hill and saw that a blanket had been spread out and the lunch sack opened. From the looks of the area there did not appear to have been a struggle. What could have caused them to leave so quickly.

Alex felt guilty the moment she saw the look of panic in her moms eyes. She knew that if this was how she reacted with the other three missing then this was the way she reacted when she had gone missing.
