A goth music collection isn't complete without three things (in my opinion anyway) - 80's bands, a cat, and Projekt.
I've seen two threads at least with a band each from this record label and I think that it would be a blast to stick all of the Projekt mavens and fans in one thread and see what happens.
Projekt Record Label Offical Site
If you've never before heard of them *le gasp eek * then you might want to start by checking out some of their samplers. I also have access to several legal Mp3's from the different bands. And there's always the Projekt Podkast if you want things in easy to manage packages.
A little Bio from their site -
Projekt.com
Projekt -- America's premier ethereal / gothic / ambient label -- has been releasing great music since 1983! In 1993, we established the Projekt: darkwave mailorder branch, and this website (started approx. 1995) is now our main avenue of communication with our fans. We're glad you've discovered our site and hope you join us and become part of the Projekt family. Sam and Lisa keep in touch with fans through this site and the projekt email list. Look around and discover more about the music on Projekt Records.

The founder of this record label is Sam Rosenthal who originally created it to release his own music without some a**l label making him jump through hoops.

Here is a list of all the bands currently signed to Projekt -
With their official sites, when available.
Alio Die - In both Italian and English, might I add. Ambient.
Android Lust - The latest love child of Projekt. Industrial.
Arcana - Wonderfully deep, you would think there were vocals it's so un-ambient. Ambient.
Audra - Two brothers and a drummer friend. Rock.
Autumn's Grey Solace - Ethereal female vocals and creative guitar/drums. Ethereal.
Black Tape for a Blue Girl - Sam Rosenthal's band, A.K.A. the reason for the label. Darkwave.
Dark Sanctuary - For all you Frenchies. Dark Atmospheric.
Fear Falls Burning - Vintage guitar drones. Ambient.
Human Drama - Their official site is under construction... Rock?
Loveliescrushing - No official site... The scumbags... But they manage with a 4 track, voice, guitar and effects. Shoegazer.
Mira - Wonderful, I could gush for hours. Shoegazer.
Steve Roach - Constructs soundworlds for a living. Ambient.
Sam Rosenthal - The Almighty Sam Himself. Electronica.
Soulwhirlingsomewhere - Lazy bums haven't updated their site in a couple of years by the looks of it. Ethereal.
Unto Ashes - These guys are so totally cool, just look at the genre! Neo-Medieval dirge.
Vidna Obmana - Contemporary harmonic and very awsome. Ambient.
Voltaire - Happy goth music paradox existational proof. Folk/Goth.

If anyone has a particular band that they want more information on, I would be happy to post a list of their albums and all the legal Mp3's I can get my slimy hands on (can I do that? or do I have to PM them to people...).

Something wicked this way comes. Direct from the underground New York Goth scene comes this strange brew of gypsy violins, driving rhythms, sardonic wit and turn-of-the-century mayhem. Combining beautiful old-world melodies with viciously sarcastic lyrics, Wagnerian bravado with Brechtian allure, Voltaire has crafted songs of love, loss, revenge and dismemberment sure to bring a smile to even the darkest of souls.
