xxxAND SO... Let me take you a journey back in time to the beginning of the Tale of Yuu, Takiko…
The young woman in this story, originally known as Seika, Takiko, was born in the only village that she has ever called home, Kumogakure. Three months before she was born, both of her parents ended their shinobi lives in order to focus on their daughter that was soon to be. A month after her birth, her parents opened up a miniature flower shop and garden sanctuary. At the age of four, she learned various techniques for flower cutting and arrangements. You could say that learning all of this helped her to gain a more peaceful centered nature during times of overwhelming problems. What problems? She has a tendency to, shall we say, unnecessarily blow things up or set things on fire. A pyro maniac could be a way to describe her “condition”, yet she chooses to view it as the very nature of her bloodline. During these first few years she did not partake in very much “shinobi” like activities unless you wish to count attaching exploding tags to her parents left over kunai.
At the age of five she was placed into the Amegakure Academy to give her a bit more focus, however it was the tradition anyway so any other reason does not really matter. A prankster by profession, Takiko set traps all around the Academy in her playful and coy way. It was her way of “training” her fellow students to deal with the surprises of life and others. She did get into trouble frequently, but at the same time she was in the top of her class. Her true strength showed in her trapping abilities once she learned to incorporate her bloodline’s abilities and became an approved Genin. As the years went by during her genin years she became more responsible when it came to setting off multiple explosion. You could attribute this to her constantly having to pay for things she destroyed, or her gaining maturity, or her nearly blowing up her then teammate Kai Yuu. Who really knows which one it was? However, after that incident it was evident that Takiko and Kai were spending more time around each other as she did what she could to help his injuries. Still, these two would not end up dating until they both became Chunnin when she was 14 and he was 16.
Her years as a Chunnin seemed to be the most stable of her life when it came to her own personality and abilities. Missions were completed, jutsu were learned and fairly mastered, and a love bloomed between Takiko and Kai. By age 19, the two were married in her parents’ lily garden late in the fall. A year after their wedding both Takiko and Kai were promoted to the rank of Jounin in accordance with the recommendation of their sensei and the approval of the village. A few months later Takiko gave birth to a son, named Aki. During the time that she raised him she was also in charge of her own squad. From there she trained her students in her often unconventional means. Despite this they still came out successful and went on to higher ranks.
