- Character Personality
Despite his very intimidating appearance, T'Challa is a stern and yet peaceful man of incredible conviction and dedication. He heavily believes in doing good and has a very high standard for morals. While he does not force these views upon his subordinates, he does offer them as sound pieces of advice or words of wisdom. In the eyes of many, he is a strict and harsh teacher, relentless in showing his subordinates "the art of killing". However, he is actually a very calm and reserved mentor when not in training, regarded as one of the wisest of the Captains in his generation. Despite his ways, deep down T'Challa is a lover of battle, and he excels in it. Though he is known for being a very violent fighter, his actions are seemingly well intended, and serve to benefit those around him. He is calm when assessing a situation however, and will try to analyze the battle while getting as much fun from the thrill from a strong opponent as he can. He has shown to be rather peaceful and direct when not in the battlefield, but he seems to carry the same attitude to other who do not know him. One of his most notable personality traits is his lack of compassion and remorse, it doesn't fuel his actions as he thinks of it as a weakness and liability in battle. This seems to stem from his decisive nature. When T'Challa decides something will be done, he will do it without fail, or die in the attempt. Though his views have change a bit on the subject, he use to have a very bleak outlook on the world, seeing the weak as stepping stones for the strong to climb over. He thinks that every weak individual should be crushed until there is nothing left, something the former members of his Division picked up and amplify towards new members of the division. This has change or been modified to so extent, but these tendencies show. His own personal philosophy is that a warrior should never bow to another warrior, as this in itself is weakness. In his eyes, respect, honor, loyalty and strength mean everything in the Shinigami world.

- Bio:
Tragedy of a King: Born in a small village in Africa, T'Challa was the son of a powerful warrior chief. Naturally he followed in his father's footsteps, starting at a very young age around when he was old enough to run and talk, he started his warrior training along side his older brothers with his father. He showed to have the most skill out of the three children, even was said to be a gift from the gods themselves for his blessed battle skills and endurance. In reality T'Challa was able to use his adrenalin glands on command, giving him short moments of superhuman strength by the means of flight or fight. During his teen years T'Challa was well known as the great warrior of his village. He along side his father and two brothers conquered many of the neighboring tribes, bringing fame, fortune, and peace to their own while leaving them with nothing. He father soon passed leaving his youngest son in charge of the village. This however was unheard of, but no one besides his older siblings questioned his judgment on the matter. During his reign as chief T'Challa gathered the tribes he had conquered and tried to set up some sort of peace between the leaders and territories in order to protect their lands from other invaders. This goal took him many years to get started, but through his efforts by the time he was in his late thirties a treaty was made with his manage to the daughter of another tribe leader who's military power rivaled his own. With him now leading the other tribes in the first unified system they were able to further their growth for the better and prosper happily, until one winter's night. On this night while hunting with his oldest brother, T'Challa was poisoned in his sleep the very night before his wedding with hopes of killing him. The attempt on his life failed, but weakened by the toxic coursing through his veins, he had no choice but to flee deep into the jungle as his brother returned to tell the news. Staggering for life, T'Challa struggled to breathe as the last sight to meet his gaze was a large black beast with a white mask.
Kindness from a Stranger: Dazed and confused, T'Challa erupted from what seemed like a long slumber in a strange new world. As he looked around to find himself in the middle of nowhere, and not in his territory anymore, he spotted what looked like to be houses in the distance. As he staggered towards them he was met by two rugged looking men with swords. In his state of mind for his past life he knew he was not fit to fight, but talking to them served no purpose either, the men spoke an entirely different language, without any means of communication the two suddenly attacked T'Challa only to be met with their own death by his hands. He was shocked to find his illness gone and decided to take one of the mens swords with him. With blood stained cloths and a sword drawn, he slowly walked into the village were me was viewed as a murderer by the people. His efforts to talk and understand them once again failed, he was only hearing gibberish and speaking it in return. His intimidating appearance only aided the means for the men of the village to attack him as an attempt to get him to leave, leaving him with the option to try and defend himself without killing, but one or two died that day before he fled the village with minor wounds on his body. Now finding shelter in the forest T'Challa was confronted with another stranger, but this one was different from any other he had meet. Even though T'Challa had his sword at the ready the man seemed to be more interested in communicating, as proof he set his sword away from him, T'Challa did the same seeing as his pride would not let him strike down an unarmed man and returned to his resting position. No matter how much he tried to ignore the man, he insisted on becoming friends day in and day out. Finally, T'Challa accepted his kindness and learned the language spoken in this new world and this man, the only one who would take the time to get to know this stranger in a new land, would become a close friend to T'Challa. The man by the name of Kenshi Hatake.
The Original Thirteen: Once T'Challa fully learned his new language, in a matter of a couple of days since they had nothing but time, he and Kenshi spent many days talking about their different culture and views before they ended up traveling together. Durning their travels Kenshi explained all he could about the new world and gave T'Challa an original zanpakuto and started to show him how to truly use it. This was also the time T'Challa adopted the name Leone, mainly because he was tired of Kenshi mispronouncing his original name all the time, and spoke of their similar goals of unity between their own kind. The two seemed like twins with all they had in common, leading to Kenshi to ask a favor of T'Challa. The favor was for T'Challa to help him by joining his idea of Thirteen powerful bodies that govern and protect the spirit king and his land along with the human world, the second part of the favor was a bit more simple, to help him find more members for his idea. T'Challa laughed at his friend's flawed dream but agreed on one condition, since he owed Kenshi more than he could ever repay, he would have to train with him to reach the level of bankai he once spoke of so he could carry his idea and allow him to adopt his dream as his own. The two friend agreed and set out on their journey to recruit new members. While traveling Kenshi decided to give T'Challa another nickname, since Leone worked so well when comparing him to a lion, and called him Saibankan. When asked why he simply replied because of your since of judgment in character and strong sense of justice, you are like a Judge. T'Challa could only laugh as he decided to give Kenshi a nickname of his own, he simply called him his foolish little brother.
From the Ashes Rises a New Life: Centuries past since the idea of the Thirteen started, now it was realized. Though busy with their own ideas the two still stayed close friends. While Kenshi worked on the school to train future generations, T'Challa was crafting the Central 46, a judiciary authority under the spirit king. While he did hold a seat as the seventh judge, mainly to keep from a stalemate innvirdicts, he still managed to preform as captain of the 13th squad and a direct line of communication and form the division around the idea. T'Challa was soon asked to join the royal guard, but temporally decline on the grounds that he still had a lot of work to do and suggested other captains for the job. The eve of the Ash War he noticed bad omens all around him, when the fighting broke out he was one of the first captains on the battlefield. Though difficult and suffering many wounds, he was able to defeat one of the mysterious enemies and rushed into another battle to allow other shinigami to escape whie he handled the other one. By the time he was done with his second battle he could barely move until he gained his second wind with news of Kenshi. He rushed to see his old friend sacrifice his own life in order to protect both worlds. T'Challa was able to have one last conversation with his old friend and approved of his replacement to carry on his dream. That following day T'Challa retired as a mender of the Thirteen and took up the role as "Judge of the King" in the Royal Court. He never told anyone but he felt responsible for the events that took place, thoughts of "if only I had join right then and there I could have protected the king and stopped everything or reasoned on behalf of Kushina Tsukuda" filled his head as he took up a new vow to protect the king in honor of his and Kenshi's dreams. None of the originals from the Thirteen has seen him since the war, but he still holds rank of head judge of the Central 46. It is rumored that he is also personally training two shinigami while serving under the king.
