Hey guys sorry I havent checked in for a few days. My current job/ tittle has me working from ~8am to ~10pm with virtually no downtime (unless you count eating meals with a group within a specific time period). Any breaks I have from running stuff are taken by paper work and planning/organising. There is a lot of planning since I am running 4 areas with 3 fully qualified staff 2 junior staff (aka 17 year olds) and a couple Counselors in training. Luckily I only need to run two areas at a time which can be done with only 2-3 staff in each (Depending on the activity). But the non fully qualified need to be supervised by the fully qualified as they still do what they need to do which means I have to stack staff to balance things out. It is a 7 day a week program, but staff do get a day off, which I need to balance with the program needs (Which realistically I am understaffed because even though I have the 17 and younger kids...since they are holding campers lifes in thier hands (Not kidding I am running ropes courses/walls/ziplines...and mistakes...well just cant happen because if they do they are always major).
But in short after working a 14 hour day, Im still usually behind on what I need to get done....and as such have very little if any time to get online (Which can only be done from one building when its working, if not too many people are already on the connection). Hopefully in another few nights I will be on top enough to be able to not use the periods of non physical working to have to do my paper work and such.
Also at the end of the day between 10pm and midnight sometimes us headstaff need to help run staff activitys (Since staff are allowed away from thier cabins/children between 10pm and 12:30am as they are monitored by a person on duty watching to make sure kids dont sneak out). So sometimes that 14 hour day is longer.
Hopefully there will be more down time soon.
TLDR....I just have no time to really get online atm. Hopefully I will within a few days or so. And if none of this makes sense...my brain is kinda fried as well
