i don't mean to be rude but the reason would be because it isn't an optimal place to showcase your artwork. for instance, i am not interested in your artwork. sorry.
however, there are plenty of forums, threads, and guilds made for people and your interests here on Gaia and all over the web. you just have to look around for them; unfortunately, since i have little interest in these, i only know about deviantart and Gaia but i'm sure there's plenty of other websites that offer a better platform to showcase your talents.

kay xD i was just curious if someone liked this cuz I've met at least three people who draw as well, and I am nervous about joining new guilds. I have gone looking for them but I always chicken out before joining

I don't actually see anything wrong with it. I don't think you're going to get a lot of crit for it, though, so it's almost a hidden blog of sorts. Maybe it'll be more relevant if you post images of things related to your writing, who knows? Or, it could serve as inspiration to others.
To be fair, though, I used to draw (last "major" drawing I did was, oh, four years ago? ) and I have a few images of Masako (the lead from Faux Start) lurking somewhere in the real world. I probably won't upload them for multiple reasons (one being that her original concept shows an injury that happens in the second part of her story - which is a spoiler), but it feels like it's worth mentioning.

xD I don't mind rambling.
I might just do some drawings for my story, Another Dance once I get a character profile from my friend eric. I was thinking of drawing my character marin sitting at a table and chatting with his character in the rain.
