I'm asexual and I realized it at around the time I started high school, that I wasn't emotionally or sexually attracted to boys or girls. I like them both platonically. I had fictional/celebrity crushes but they were always short lived and I'm pretty sure I only liked them because they weren't real (or realistic). I've only been in 3 relationships in my entire life, 2 guys and 1 girl. They were wonderful and beautiful people but I felt absolutely nothing for them.
So that's basically my little story, and if you're anything other than straight, when did you realize it and how did you feel at first about it?

Hello, I am pansexual, meaning I am attracted to people mainly based on personality and not gender or appearance. So males, females, trans, etc. they're all beautiful.
Around this time last year I started not just having feelings for boys, but a number of different people with different images. I experimented. I began dating a girl I liked and I realized I like girls, so I was bisexual or just simply trying something new. Shortly after though, I realized it wasn't just guys and gals xD the range of people I was attracted to was very wide. I became pan. I've only ever been with boys or girls, (3 boys and 2 girls) so no friends of mine have been trying go convince me that I'm bi too but I'm pretty sure I'm pan. I like it. Feels right.
I wish however, I was a lot more confident and open with this.

Simply put, I am what I am.
I don't know what to label it, I've been called asexual and pansexual.
I don't see appearances. (Meaning not physically attracted to men, women,
trans, ect. Because of their looks.) I see people, black, white, girl, boy, as
people. Nothing more. Not ugly, pretty, cute, handsome, whatever.
But, I haven't been romantically interested in anyone for years.
Can't even remember what a crush feels like.
Every relationship I've been with, boy and girl, have only existed because
I can't say no and hurt someone.
I don't care what my label is, I like who I like.

Like Radiant Mercy, I started out straight, then became bi, and I'm not sure if I am pan or not, but I'm certainly more attracted to personality than anything else and I don't balk at the idea of dating someone trans* or anywhere else on the gender binary. I've dated two guys and a girl, had a couple of unrequited loves, and I'm looking forward to what the world tosses at me next ^_^.

Bi curious I guess? I've only ever dated guys but I find girls attractive. I don't think I would ever date one though.
