Welcome my young students. This is the Courtyard where you can relax have fun and stuff. Haha but yes remember this maybe an academy but we take really good care of our students.

It reminded him of the foyer at the headquarters but less white and had less pure colours. He looked around quietly before locking onto Lathalia. "Do you mind if I stretch my wings while we walk? It's been a while since I've done so." ♦ And not to pull your halo down
Around your neck and tug you to the ground
But I'm more than just a little curious

༺‿༻ Lathalia Pena Aiko ༺‿༻ "No I don't mind. It's perfectly fine." Lathalia said smiling. She thought it was funny that she'd never been at the courtyard, it was such a beautiful place. Her eyes drifted over every inch of the courtyard, she loved how it looked. It was different than anything she'd ever seen.

Soft wings lay curled against his back for a brief second then snapped out, sending a few loose feathers floating to the ground. He glanced at Lathalia for a moment then sighed with a soft smile. Why did he feel so at ease with her? ♦ And not to pull your halo down

"They're magnificent." Lathalia said looking back at Ash. She glanced away and saw a feather fluttering down, she held out her hand and in landed in it softly. She giggled and held it, she twirled in a few times before showing Ash with a wide grin on her face. She kept walking and put the feather behind her ear, she was going to make it into something later, but she wouldn't say anything yet. She was a horrible procrastinater, but when she set her heart out she got creative with things.

Most demons began to curse when they saw his wings. There was more than a few occasions where someone even tried to rip them from his back. He eyed the feather in Lathalia's hand then smiled. "An angels feather gives divine protection to the bearer...What do you plan on doing with it?" ♦ And not to pull your halo down

༺‿༻ Lathalia Pena Aiko ༺‿༻"I don't know yet, I might make it into a necklace or something..." She said looking away and staring at the scenery. "What kind of protection?" She asked curiously. Lathalia thought that this was kind of intriguing, she's lived her whole life in isolation, never having anyone to talk to. Then the first person she meets has another person talk to her, who is very important to Lathalia. For her educational values, then takes her out for a stroll even though it was her idea. This was turning out to be one of the best days in Lathalia's life.

"Protection from anything deemed unholy. So curses, hexes, demons etcetera. If innocent blood is spilled on it though...The feather will turn black. Then you must burn it or it will draw in unwanted attention." He sighed softly, running his hands through his hair. It was weird letting a human keep one of his feathers. ♦ And not to pull your halo down

༺‿༻ Lathalia Pena Aiko ༺‿༻"Being in a school full of demons that seems very handy, thanks." She said giving Ash a warm smile. She found a small marble bench and quickly walked skipped over to it and sat down, watching Ash. She put a hand over her heart and looked at Ash sincerely, "I promise if anything bad happens to this feather I will burn it. I promise." She said before she held out her pinkie with the most serious look.

He watched her skip to the bench then followed after her, not sitting down however. He watched her hand shift to her heart then looked at her outstretched pinkie. What was she doing. "Promise? ༺‿༻ Lathalia Pena Aiko ༺‿༻"I know it's kind of childish, but it's a pinkie promise. It's something I do whenever I feel like it's a serious matter." Holding her serious face. She leaned toward Ash and held her pinkie out, giving a slight smile to Ash just in case he needed reassurance.

His wings shifted under the stare of Lathalia then he lightly spread them out to their 9 foot wingspan for a few breaths before folding them into a relaxed position once again. "So where did you learn about those types of promises. ♦ And not to pull your halo down

༺‿༻ Lathalia Pena Aiko ༺‿༻"I guess it was something I learned as a child. I hazily remember making one with someone when I was little, so it means something to me. Since I don't remember much of when I was a child." Lathalia said looking down at the ground. Lathalia saw a few teardrops land on her lap, she quickly wiped her eyes. Why was I crying? She quickly smiled at Ash, noticing he had folded his wings again.
