(This is pretty much an rp for anyone who is with the Nava/Umi pack that is no longer in existence.) Sugar was decorating the area selected for the Umi and Nava reunion. Toshi told her about the stories of what happened to their family and how it all happened. She felt a bit sad listening to him at the time, but this was supposed to be a joyous occasion hopefully and she couldn't let anyone down. Sugar went up on a ladder to hang some streamers, but she lost her balance. She started falling. "Help!" She yelped as she started to fall.
Toshi was nearby and quickly dove to catch her. "You really need to watch yourself Sugar. I don't want to have my mate in the hospital before the reunion starts." He smiled lightly before getting up. "Here I'll help a bit." It took some time but the both of them pulled it off. "There...now we only need the guests. I'm hoping they all come, but if not that's ok too."

Saiyoko couldn't be more nervous or happy as she padded into the room. A family reunion? She was grateful that Brutus had told her about it. Still, though she was nervous. About seeing her brother and her family. She had dreamed of this day, and hoped sincerely about seeing her parents. It would be very good for her pups, as well. Only, she worried about Lena. How would she respond to so many different colored wolves, none of them white like her? Hopefully, Markus's story about his mother had done enough. She spotted Toshi, and rushed over to him with a nuzzle. "Brother, I've missed you! Thank you for putting the time to put this together! I'd like you to meet my family. This is Kaito, his twin Yui, and this is Lena. This is her brother Brutus. Of course, you know Markus." she remarked, gesturing a paw to her children, smiling when she referenced her mate."It's nice to see you, Sugar." She had wondered where he final pup, Lara, was. Although she had hope, she wondered if her other little girl was okay, and missed her dearly. Though, she wouldn't voice her concern; this was a happy occasion!Kaito walked behind his mother with confidence. A family reunion - what good did that do him? Where were the girls for him? It didn't matter, this was a chance to be the spotlight! "Hi! he raced around to each of the participants, jubilantly introducing himself.Trotting shyly behind her mother, Lena tried to keep her head up. This was an opportunity to not feel left out - to meet people like her. People that, obviously, wanted to see her. Through obligation of family or not, she tried to be confident, but couldn't bring herself to meet eyes with Toshi or his mate, "H-hello. Nice to...meet you...?" she sounded quite unsure of herself, and what would happen, but Saiyoko rested a comforting flank against her, a supportive smile, and she returned the gesture.

((Shii told me to rp in here so I guess this is it.)) Shizuna, a wolf that was pure white except for her blue sun marking on her flank walked in next to her mate Neo. She hadn't seen the family in ages and a lot had changed with her. She was originally the one who was given away and never got to see her mom and dad. "It's good to see you and your families brother and sister." She blushed a bit before looking over at her mate Neo. "This is my mate." Shizuna had been through a lot too, but today was supposed to be a good day and she wanted to make the day the best she could no matter what. "You have cute children Saiyoko."Neo made his way over and gave a polite nod and bow. "A pleasure to meet you all. I've heard great stories about you from Shizuna and Brutus." He gave a wink at Brutus. It had been a while since they had talked, but thanks to Neo he kind of helped Brutus out of his troubling state of acting like a jerk through approaching him as a friend.

Markus made a small nod towards the group as well. "Indeed. It is nice to finally see the whole family. Saiyoko told me about you as well." It was nice to be able to see the family and see them together.Yui looked at her dad with a bored look then looked at Kaito before going over. "Want to wrestle?" She was normally girly, but today she was full of energy and was up for just about anything.Brutus winked back at Neo and then at Toshi. He had been in touch with both of them in hopes that he could get at least most of the family.Toshi smiled content that most seemed to make it although some were still missing. Hopefully they would show up as time went on.

Saiyoko's smile gleamed. "Thank you, Shizuna, you are too kind." she remarked at the comment about her children, "Lovely to meet the one who has made my sister so happy, Neo.". Wait, from Brutus? She grinned a little bit and glanced at her son. Oh, you little devil. Thank you... She didn't know if her son knew how much this meant to her. It was so great to see most of her family, and at risk of upsetting everyone, she asked, "How...is mother holding up?" she knew that the Moonlit wasn't taking the disappearance of her mate very well at all, and wanted nothing more than to comfort her. That's what children were for, right?
In response, Kaito only pounced on his sister to initiate the wrestling match, mouthing at her limbs and rolling on the floor, oblivious to any decorations or wolves he might have been slamming into in the process.
Lena's ears perked. So, Brutus had set this up. She was observant, and noticed the three-way-wink. Well, at least he cared for their mother. And...what was this? She found herself staring at Shizuna, an almost all white wolf, and her smile erupted. She wasn't alone in the family! Although, looking at her aunts and uncles, she realized one thing: Her mother was the runt, so far. How come she never said anything? She was like her mother. Looking at Saiyoko, Lena smiled. Such a good, happy mother, and she had more in common with her than her fur color suggested. "Hi..." she started, speaking to Shizuna. "I'm Lena. I thought I was the only one with white fur in the family..." while there was an undertone of sadness, she kept her smile on, and felt her chest swelling with happiness. Asher was right. Absolutely right! She had to tell him about this!

Neo smiled back at Saiyoko. "Thanks. She's a real kind moonlit like yourself. I can definitely tell you two are sisters." He watched the young ones wrestle. It was nice to see the younger generation. Even though the pups were grown up they still were adorable to him. The white one reminded him of Shizuna a bit, but she seemed more timid then her.
Shizuna paused when she heard the mention of mother. She turned her head towards Toshi expecting he would know something. "I honestly don't know." She then turned her head back towards Lena with a friendly smile. "Well hello there. Actually there was one other wolf that was white in the family. He was our dad, but he had red sun markings all over him." She paused for a second realizing that probably wasn't the best thing to bring up since he was considered taboo towards Toshi. She quickly snapped her head over to Toshi then at Saiyoko. "I'm sorry...I don't want to bring up his name since it's not pleasant, but color does not define who you are. It's the personality that counts."

Sugar looked at Toshi feeling a bit sad. She didn't know what to do since she never met Nava. Sugar went over and nuzzled Toshi hoping that would help him cheer up a bit. After all she wanted to do everything she could to make him feel relaxed and enjoy himself more. She knew what happened to Umi and was lucky enough to meet her as a wolf before the sudden transformation. Toshi raised an eyebrow when Nava was mentioned but sighed and shook his head. "Indeed it does not." He looked at Lena then Shizuna. "However, it doesn't make a difference whether his name is mentioned or not. Mother is not around and she hasn't been to well. If she heard his name she might burst into tears and be devastated." He looked down sad for a moment. "If only he wouldn't of left her and took our brothers with him. I briefly knew Kuno and Dingo and they were really good brothers." He looked at Saiyoko. "You have heard of what happened to mother right?" Toshi walked towards Saiyoko. "If you want to know I would rather say it in privacy just because I don't want too many to know." He glanced over as he noticed his aunt arriving.It had been a while since Kaname had had contact with any of her family. She knew what had happened to Umi and was completely disheartened by it. If anything it made her not want to get a mate even more. Toshi's invitation got to her and she wanted to try to at least make some conversation to make up for what their mother could not give them. Kaname walked closer before sitting down next to Brutus. "Sorry if I am late. I hope you wouldn't mind your aunt popping up Toshi, Shizuna, and Saiyoko. Sorry that I'm not your mother. I haven't seen her in such a time." Kaname had such a calm and relaxed expression on her face.

"I-I see..." Lena listened about their father. So she had heard, from various stories, about what had occurred, only to be confirmed moments later by Toshi. So, one was sweet, like her mother, and one was...well, everything the rumors had said. She was just about to come to the conclusion about personality when Shizuna had said it, backed up firmly by Toshi. She nodded, "I understand that, now." She felt so at home here, with so many of her family. And not only were they trying to cheer her, they were speaking as equals, even though she was the youngest.
Saiyoko watched Toshi sadly. "I regret to hear that she has not been doing well." She had said with a scowl. What happened? Oh no! No, she had not. She shook her head, "Something has happened?" the worry was clear in her expression, and she had just been about to follow him when her aunt had shown up. She gleamed, and immediately started a rebuttle, though maintained a level of respect while doing it. "Dearest Kaname, lateness is acceptable! We are so glad you are here. Do not be sorry for not being our mother - your company is enjoyed regardless." she had walked over and nuzzled her aunt swiftly. "Although, I shall be right back." turning to Toshi, she nodded, nervous about what this news about their mother could possibly be, and pulled him to the side.

Shizuna had her ears pinned down against her head sad, because Toshi already told her what happened, but she was the type to keep a secret to the grave. "I'll just stay here since I know what happened." She looked around the area. "I hate to pry, but is there any food?" She didn't want to interrupt anyone else's conversation going on so she thought a light snack would be the best at the time. She used to be so bouncy as a wolf before, but her years mellowed her out a bit to the point where she seemed almost introverted.
Neo looked at Brutus. "So I take it all went well with the plan and it's a success?" He looked over towards Kaname. "Nice to meet you Miss Kaname. I'm happy to meet Shizuna's Aunt. It's better to show up late than never anyways."

Kaname nodded her head as she watched the other two leave. "Thanks...I was worried that I would of been not accepted for not showing up for so long. I'm sorry I never really showed up when you all were pups." She looked at Shizuna and Lena. "I was actually wondering the same thing too."
Sugar came over with a tray full of tarts. "Well here are some fruit tarts if you would like to try them. They're rather delicious. Toshi was trying to help, but in the end I had to end up having Cinnamon help me on making them since he kept dropping the batter."
Toshi smiled at his aunt. "It is nice to see you aunt. I am happy that one of our oldest relatives made it." He then went with Saiyoko a good distance away from the others. Once they were near the woods he turned around. "First off what is the last recollection you have of mother. I'll fill you in from there on every detail possible."
Brutus nodded his head at Neo. "It is. I kind of wish Umi would show up, but I guess this is good enough. I'm just thankful for what we have right now. If anymore separation happens to this family then I'll make sure I can try to stop it." He tightened his paw to show he was strong enough to take it on. Most of the time he didn't show his tears or emotions much, but after apologizing to Lena it had kind of made him a bit more open. He still was a bit stoic and didn't say much, but he wouldn't avoid conversation as much as when he was younger.
Yui was still in the midst of wrestling with Kaito until she heard the mention of food. "Food?" She quickly darted over to the others before sitting down next to them begging for a tasty tart to devour.

"Dearest Kaname!" she couldn't help but laugh at her Aunt. "As long as you a part of this family, by blood or otherwise, you will be welcomed. We have all been busy." With that final word, she followed Toshi anxiously. "Dad left." she blurted, a little sad. "And took our brothers with him.." she felt a whine start in the back of her throat. "And mother was...shattered. What has happened?" she let her concern for her mother overpower her loss of a father and two brothers. She had what she had now, and Umi was still here. She could get her back. Right? Right?
Lena looked at her great aunt. She was so pretty! She couldn't help but feel at home; had she felt the same as Lena always had, outcasted? Feeling her conversation with Shizuna was over, she trotted over to her great aunt. "H-hello...I'm Lena. Saiyoko's daughter!" she felt so confident, so happy, and so...welcomed.
Kaito froze at the mention of food just like Yui did, forgetting about her just the same. He raced over to Sugar and snuffled up a tart quickly, practically inhaling the pastry. Then, he remembered his manners. "Oh, uh...Can I have one?" He blurted with a full mouth, showering crumbs everywhere. He glanced at Lena...just when did she mingle and get all the attention? He felt his chest puff with jealousy and he pouted.

Shizuna looked at the tarts that Sugar had put some time and effort into. "They look absolutely delicious! Would you mind if I have one?" It was nice to be able to associate with many moonlits since it had been some time since she had been able to.
Neo watched Brutus as he made that pose and listened to his words. He knew that Brutus was disappointed that Umi didn't show up, but he didn't mention it since he didn't want to irritate him or disappoint him. "Well I'm sure you will be able to stop that from happening although for your sake if you ever have any problems don't be afraid to ask anyone in the family for help. That's what families do after all."

Kaname looked down at Lena. She was so adorable to her. It reminded her of when Saiyoko was younger. "Well it's nice to meet you Lena. " She looked at the variety of tarts then at Lena. "So which type do you like? I've never had one before to tell you the truth." Kaname was normally a serious wolf, but today she did feel a bit awkward since she had never really gotten to know anyone in her family, besides their mother well.
Sugar giggled at Kaito's response and looked at Yui too. "You're both welcome to have as much as you want. There's more in the house that I can get, although I think I might need some help with getting the punch ready." She sat the tarts down on a table that they all could reach.
Toshi bit his lip for a bit then shut his eyes disappointed before sighing. "Well actually it's quite simple, but still it's not good or at least not to Umi it is." He looked back up at Umi. "Mother grew so depressed over the months that Nava left her. I should of went to visit her more often, but I was caught up in finding my own family and settling down." He paused for a moment. "After some time mother got a bit of a daredevil streak kind of like what happened to Shizuna at one point too. However, mother in the end ended up drinking this weird potion on a bet with other moonlits and ended up turning into a squirrel as wild as that might sound. It's the truth." He paused yet again to let Saiyoko take that part in before continuing. "She doesn't want to show her face most of the time because she feels she would be an embarrassment if others found out our mama got turned into a squirrel." Toshi looked sad but calmed down. "Personally I wouldn't care if my mother was a squirrel. Just so long as I can see her again. I do know that she is trying to fit in though in the squirrel community. I'm not sure if this rumor is true or not since other squirrels can be big talkers with no truth sometimes, but I heard she might end up falling in love with another squirrel too."
Brutus looked at Neo with a half hearted smile. "Thanks, but I wouldn't want to be a burden to anyone. Like I said to my family, if I can't protect them then I wouldn't be of much worth to them."

"I really like blackberries." Lena smiled, "and apples! Oooh, and Sugar, were there any pomegranate ones?" Lena truly did have exotic tastes sometimes, she was just finding out, but she still enjoyed the company. She looked at Kaname curiously: she was very quiet, but Lena could tell she was trying, and searched for some way to show that appreciation. Then, she caught what Brutus had been saying and frowned. "Excuse me..." Lena said, a little detached, and approached her brother.
"Brutus, you can only control your own actions and the way you feel, and you are of a lot of worth...whether or not you can protect us." She began. The two had had a similar conversation before, but she was quite stubborn on the matter, "You won't be any more of a burden than I am." Lena felt a little sad at her own words - was she really a burden? "He's right: talk to us. That's what family is for." She cast yet another sad glance at him, "You were there for me, and I will be here for you." she felt her chest puff up with determination.
Kaito nodded and continued to chew the tart he had just slurped up, glancing at Sugar and flashing her a charming grin, albeit with fruit spread all over his teeth, "Thanks" he hummed and thumped his tail.
Saiyoko listened on the edge of her seat and nodded. She then felt slightly ashamed herself, "I should have visited as well.." she cast a glance at Lena, could Umi have felt the same abandonment that Lena had? "How could we be so ignorant, so selfish..." she started, listening once more to her brother. Now, wait a second, her mother was a squirrel? She wasn't sure how to feel about that, but an amused smile filtered onto her face. Then, she felt bad again for the smile, "I would be proud to have my mother, whatever way she is, squirrel or not. We have our family, and whatever other wolves say, that is all we need." Saiyoko blurted passionately, "I would love to see her again, however she is. I wish...I wish she would try to fit into this community, still." she laied down briefly and put her paws over her muzzle, whining "I just want my mama back...I can't lose her, too..." she put in happily at the final statement, "Well...at least if she falls in love, that will be good for her...Help her feel less alone, even though..she never really was."

Shizuna took a tart and ate it. She used to be so bold and outgoing, but the years had mellowed her out a little and after going through so many turmoils and hardships it had made her more content. "They taste really good Sugar!" She looked over at Kaname. "Hey Aunt Kaname, I heard stories of the water wolf pack from mom, but she never went into full description of them. I hate to bug you, but could you tell us any stories?"
Neo was sad to hear Brutus talk and was about to say something until his sister stepped in. He smiled happy that she was able to talk some sense into him. Hopefully those two would get a long better now that they had discussed their problems with each other.
