Kazuma rode the train to a town called Magnolia. From the distance it look like the city him and his team and or friends came to play on the beach. Pushing those thoughts deep inside his mind as he simply sat there watching the city growing ever so closer. A part of him was excited and happy to be some where new. Thinking back he never stayed in a town and or village longer than a month or so before moving to a new location. He wondered why he was always constantly on the move. Probably for there benefit most likely.
The train slowly came to a stop as a happy noise could be herd followed by a person voice telling them they had arrived. As they spoke the doors opened up. Everyone, including Kazuma got up and exited the train. As they exited people squeezed by to get inside the train. Kazuma wondered why everyone was in such a hurry. Shrugging it off he walk off spreading apart from the group and exploded the town a bit. Finding himself in the market he eyed candy the food till he found meat buns and paid the worker happily for two meat buns. With his left hand inside his right arms sleeve as he was munching on the meat bun in his right hand. Smiling happily as he explored the market seeing familiar items he saw as a kid and or traveling around.
The smell of different foods and his meat buns made his mouth water as he sat down at a table. Remembering the nice people in a uncharted town he actually stumbled upon three months ago was pretty nice. Reminded him of his old home to a degree, thankfully no bad memory's along with it. Finishing up on the one meat bun he stood up as a kid ball passed him. Watching it roll by he smiled happily as he chased after the ball with a meat bun in his mouth. Catching up with the ball and placing it on his foot and bouncing it on each knee as he hoped in one place. Laughing all the while as the kids watch as he passed the ball to them. Kazuma now joined the fray of the kick ball game! Chasing around long past the life span of his meat bun as he placed for what seemed like minutes but quickly turned into hours.
On the final score Kazuma fell on his a** and had a shocked look as the ten kids beat one grown man in a simple childish game of kick ball. Placing his hand on the side of his head as he gave out a hearty laugh. Speaking in a kind tone "Good game kids. Good game. Be proud you beat a man in his twenty's who was giving it his all!" He exclaimed happily towards them as he hoped up on his feet and did a cliche martial arts pose as he gave a playful growl towards the kids. The kids just mimic him and quickly bolted at him. "Oh dear god why!" He shouted as the ten kids dog piled on him. After a few minutes of squirming around he manage to get away from the kids. Bowing to them respectively as they ran off. Most likely to have more fun or back home. Once the kids were out of sight his gentle warm smile slowly faded and became a lonely expression as he turned around and continued to walk in random directions.
Finding himself at a hot spring. Placing his right hand on his left shoulder and stretching his body a bit. His body was a bit stiff and he could use a good soaking. So he thought what the hell and decided to walk in. As he got his bucket and a correct sizing towel he walk towards the changing room. Passing him were three older woman as he smiled sweetly at them and gave them a playful wink. The three woman just smiled and covered there mouths with there hands as they giggled at the young man. Smiling happily since he wanted everyone to feel a tad bit special.
As he undressed till he was naked and wrapping a towel around his waist he exited the changing room and headed into the out door bath room for the males. It was surrounded by a bamboo forest and behind that a rock wall with no gaps. He could hear woman talking and spoke excitedly in a happy tone "Hey sexy woman! Whoo hoo!" Chuckling a bit as all he herd was them laughing at him and probably imaging him doing something stupid. Slowly walking into the water. Slowly adjusting his body to the mild warm water that quickly became extremely hot. But his body adjusted so he was perfectly fine after a few seconds. Sitting down and leaning his head back as he sighed happily as he drifted off into sleep in the water. He was perfectly fine with sleeping in water since the moment water would hit his face stopping him from breathing his body, like everyone else would instantly wake up. So, with that in mind he fell asleep as his body unwind a bit since all that traveling made his body sore.

Scarlet walked into the spring, glad that it was empty. After she had left Sabertooth, she had regretted it. Her guildmaster left without a trace, and she wondered if she had pushed him over the top. She sighed, no point in thinking about it now, it was over now. She relaxed, at least no one was bugging her. Seriously, it was such a pain after all. She stretched her arms softly, the water felt really nice against her skin. She had been missing for a while now, not that anyone cared, and she rather liked that. She was free to do what she wanted without being followed. Crowley was annoying, she actually heard that he vanished. Good residence. She sunk lower into the water, part of her knew she needed to go back to Sabertooth, she was running low on Jewels after all. She had to work at some point, otherwise she'd run out of food money. She would rather avoid that if at all possible, plus she knew she was falling behind all the others. She strength was weaker now that she was slacking on training. She started at her reflection, maybe it was time to back into the swing of things. She had been gone for too long, it was time to return to her guild. She stood, stretched softly as hair plastered to her back. Then again, why rush things? She sat back down and rested, might as well enjoy herself for a little bit longer before she went back.

Kesshin's walk led him all the way to the Magnolia springs, he was still contemplating on cashing in that date he won. It was such a hassle to think about, to think that he would actually come around to meet a woman that he disliked, it seemed so unfathomable to him, comprehensible! "Man oh man, what a predicament I am in..." Kesshin mutter to himself. He realized somewhere he took a wrong turn and ended up in the hot springs but what he would find he would have never expected, a familiar fragrance was in the air, the smell of someone Kesshin once knew but again like the others, haven't seen in a long time due to his isolation from the world in the forest. Kesshin sniffed again, through the steam and water it was hard to tell where exactly it was, he searched around, trying to match name to scent. Kesshin closed his eyes, his life moving in reverse memory after memory unwinding backwards slowly then gaining speed until it all stopped and in the back of his mind he saw a woman with her back turned, a woman with red hair, and at that moment the scent matched with a name, "Scarlet?!" Kesshin shouted, the epiphany starting to finally set in.

Scarlet stood, was the water rolled down her delicate skin. There was a scar from the incident a while back, Geno had given it to her. She sighed, the scar was long, and ruined her back. Oh well, not like she was trying to impress anyone anyways. She yawned lightly, maybe she should get going. She had been here for a while after all so it wasn't like she needed to stay longer. She stretched her arms, however, her ears twitched lightly and she sniffed the air. She smelt something familiar, what that was, she wasn't quite sure. It was only when she heard her name did she understand who it was. She froze, immediately diving back into the water to cover her body. Her face flushed red, "Y... You idiot! W... What the hell do you think you're doing" she hissed, as she snatched her towel and wrapped it around her body. Once she knew she was completely covered, she stood, her arms crossed "Kesshin, how delightful of you... you better not have seen anything you weren't supposed to, otherwise I'll have to kill you" she snapped flustered. Great, just great. All she needed was for an old acquaintance to pop in and nearly see her naked.
She did notice how much stronger he got though. She was surprised at his progress, he was no doubt far ahead of her now. She sighed, running a hand through her now soaking hair, a hand on her hip "I see you've already left me behind huh?" she admitted. She'd catch up eventually, she wasn't about to be left behind. Sure she had been... missing for a while, but she came back to continue her training. She raised a brow "so whoo any girls to hit on while I was away?" she asked smirking, being a smart a**.

Kesshin heard her voice through the steam and turned to her, he was already beginning to realize as he turned that this was probably not a good idea, this was a hot spring after all and nobody gets into a hot spring unless they are..."Scarlet whoa!" Kesshin propelled so fast full circle it'd make anyone's head spin, he turned so fast he made sure he didn't get any kind of peak at Scarlet, though Kesshin could only assume that just like her hair, her body void of clothes was voluptuous and curvy. Kesshin held his left hand over his eyes his face a bit red in embarrassment, not once has he ever seen a woman's naked splendor, he even almost thought he heard a pleasant greeting or compliment from her but he must have heard wrong, instead he was about to get an ear full for seeing nothing, "No no no, it's against the code to see a woman's precious body unclothed, unless... well, you know... she's that special lady. Have you forgotten? Despite magnetic charm I am still a gentleman." Kesshin tried to explained. His eyes glued to the floor he turned around, slowly he brought his eyes up, hesitating, he brought them back down at her toweled lower body then finally brought them up in embarrassment, giving eye contact. Kesshin had almost forgotten just what drew him to this woman, "Her hair... I've always liked her hair." Kesshin thought to himself, a smile forming over his face unintentionally. She made a comment that Kesshin didn't understand at first, "left you behind?" Kesshin asked, then it clicked and his smile went away, "Oh... yeah, some things happened that day we went our separate ways for that mission. Things that made me reevaluate the strength I was always so confident in..." Kesshin said, he tried to not make the situation sound so depressing, more like casual but in truth he still wasn't fully over his blunder, even if it wasn't his fault, still, he felt responsible,"Besides I'm sure I'm not that ahead of you, you've still got incredible some skill." Kesshin said trying to pay her a compliment while moving away from that awkward situation, still, Kesshin knew that on that day something in him changed, something he wouldn't get back for a while.
Scarlet proceeded to ask another question Kesshin wasn't quite prepared for, taken aback even, "Hmm. well not as of late, you could say I was off my game for a while, strictly doing business." Kesshin said. Then he came up with an idea, "Well I could always try to woo you again, though that didn't get me far if I recall correctly back in the old days. There is something about you I've always liked, besides the pretty hair and the fact that we are both Dragon Slayers. If I remember correctly, you govern the skies." Kesshin paused for a moment then he remembered, "Oh wait you didn't really know I am a Dragon Slayer did you?" Kesshin asked. Not many people knew, primarily because it was none of their business and Kesshin never revealed his roar to anyone, not even the ones in his guild though the veteran members knew what he was. Kesshin scratched his cheek where his old patch used to be, under his right eye, where is Raven Tail mark stood, "Well I guess now you do, but don't go telling everybody okay? It can be a secret among Dragon Slayers." Kesshin laughed. Now that he thought about it, Kesshin figured Scarlet owed him a solid for carrying her all the way to her designated mission those few months back, "Anyway, what do you say to me treating you, anywhere you want to go?" Kesshin asked, "You do owe me from that time way back when, when I carried you and that other guy Geno to your mission site." Kesshin continued, he never got so much as a thank you from Geno, he would just assume he had forgotten because Kesshin was gone those few months, but Kesshin would never pass up a chance to take out a 10/10 voluptuous hunny who at least half-appreciated him... maybe, a 10/10 breath-taking beauty who didn't think him a sleaze bag... hopefully... a 10/10 hotty hot hotty who at least thought he was an okay guy... probably...

Scarlet rolled her eyes, he was embarrassed, it should be the other way around. She heard him talk about still being a "gentlemen" and she laughed. That was right wasn't it? He did go on about that in the past, at least he didn't see anything otherwise she would have blown him away in an instant. She crossed her arms once more, her concentration on him, he seemed to be hinting at something that had happened during the mission. To be honest, she never told anyone, but she almost didn't make it. She barely made it back alive, and part of the reason she vanished was because of those horrible nightmares. Of course she's finally gotten over the, that's part of the reason she came back. She did remember hearing about on of the members death, and her eyes grew sad. Maybe she was someone close to Kesshin? She didn't want to pry, she knew all to well not to butt into something that wasn't her business anyways. She laughed "I highly doubt that, you're I used to be the quickest... I've lost that right now though. You could beat me with one punch I bet, I think my skills are dull" she admitted. She hadn't done much over these past weeks. She was lacking in resolution. It was only now that she found something to hang onto, only one thing though. That was to find her missing parent. That was it, she had nothing else really. Scarlet wasn't stupid, even she could sense that he had changed, for better or for worse, she didn't know. If he ever strayed from the correct path though, Scarlet would be sure to beat the crap out of him until he went on the right path that was for sure.
She blinked, off his game "Oy, seriously?" she asked, surprised. This was the lady killer we were talking about here, how was he not picking up girls every chance he got? She ran a hand through her hair once more "well I see you're not out of shape, considering you're trying to "whoo" me" she said, smirking. She blinked again, blushing ever-so-slightly at his comment "uh... my hairs not that appealing..." she whispered. Why did he always say he liked her hair? It wasn't that pretty... she often got made fun of for it, so she wasn't very fond of it in the past. Now she just didn't care. It was then that he said she governed the skys and she pursed her lips "Maybe once, however, I lost my wings... the skys out of my reach" she said, lifting her hand up to the sky. Ah, the sky that once welcomed her, embraced her. Now it was nothing but pain, and rejection. She lightly touched the scar on her back, before tilting her head to the side. She looked at him 'wait both dragon slayers?' she thought. She she was right! She smiled "Oh? So I was right, I knew you were similar to us" she said.
She rolled her eyes "I had my suspicions, but even I know not to jump the gun when it comes to things like that. Relax I won't tell anyone, as long as you do that same for me... I'd rather not draw attention to myself" she said, shrugging. He did smell of earth "you a dragon slayer of earth? You have this earthy smell to you" she said. She walked over to him and sniffed him, "hmm... maybe swamp?" she questioned, unsure. She sighed, maybe she'd give him a break. He did still seem shaken up, "it's a promise then, our lips are sealed" she said, as she quickly wrapped her pinky around his "Pinky Promise" she said, before letting go. Yes, it was childish, but hey why the hell not? Scarlet could do whatever the hell she wanted to after all. She then stretched her arms "don't go thinking we're buddy-buddy after this either, this is an alliance of sorts between dragon slayers, nothing else" she added. Can't have him think he had a chance now could she? She had to keep him on his toes, it was way more entertaining that way. She then walked past him, she had softened just a bit towards Kesshin. She knew he was often misunderstood, however, that didn't mean she'd fall for him. She was a lone wolf, she didn't like the idea of companionship, it was only a burden after all. Nothing good comes out of it after all, they'll just leave you in the end.
Her eyes looked back at him dully, "look I appreciate the favor you did, but isn't our promise payment enough?" she questioned. She didn't really want to go into town at the moment. However, she did feel bad, he had helped her. She grumbled contemplating the idea. She threw her arms up when she saw how he looked at her "oh for gods sake! Fine, but we're going strictly as acquaintances, I'm simply repaying a favor got it... go wait over there or something I'll be back" she said, shaking her head. She then turned, her back towards him. Her wet strand of hair stuck to her back, hopefully he didn't see that nasty scar on her back. With that, she went inside to change. She slipped on her clothing quickly, running a towel over her head drying it in the process. She then tidied herself up quickly, and jumped down from the window. She then looked around for Kesshin, and when she found him she stood next to him "com'mon lover boy, let's get this over with" she said, as she began to walk, her hand on her hip.

Kesshin smiled a heartfelt genuine smile, the thought of the pinky promise was cute of her, to still old on to something so childishly sacred as oinky promise, that childish wonder. Kesshin always enjoyed seeing Scarlet's soft side though she always seemed to try and push people away; maybe she didn't want to get her, maybe she didn't want to be the one to do the hurting, or maybe being alone was all she knew, either way it'd be hard for her to rid herself of him even if she wasn't the woman Kesshin was taught to search for in the Casanova Code and Gazeel's teachings, he lived to help woman so he'd always be there for her in tight pinches. Kesshin figured he should have been a superhero rather than a Raven Tail wizard, the way his thoughts were going on. When that little moment was over he put on a big cheesy grin when she accepted his proposal, he wasn't entirely holding the fact that he carried her to her mission, it was actually no problem for him at all despite one other tag along he had to carry. He did what he was told, but first he was going admit to her that he was just joking around and didn't want to force her to want to go out based on a small favor he did for both Geno and her, so he turned around but was stopped when he saw the scar on her back. He was quite perplexed as to where she received it, it would be a nice conversation to bring up when they go to the place Kesshin was taking them. It wasn't anywhere fancy or anything though Kesshin had the jewel to make it happen he figured that would give off a date like feel that would most definitely make Scarlet flip out. Scarlet called out to him and like her slave without a word he did as she commanded.
