The Art Subforum Rules
* All thread titles must include [SA], [GA] or [MA] at the beginning of the title.
~ SA stands for Staff Artist, this is only for artist threads of those actually employed by the shop. GA stands for Guest Artist - those who only handle certain characters or specials with the art when they feel like it. MA stands for Member Artist - this person does not do official art but is still welcome to sell their art for either shop points or gaia gold and items. Staff threads and Guest threads will be stickied.
* All thread titles must include some note of current status
~ All thread titles in this subforum must include at the end that they have Open Slots, are Closed atm, Growths Only, or Under Construction or something.
* Each staff artist has slots for things. Please only post when those are open unless told otherwise.
~ Each staff artist will have slots for growths that they usually handle, for just for fun pieces, for finishing or improving pieces, for linearts, et cetera. They will also have a specific fee attached to each of those based on how much work or hassle doing that task is for them - this fee is added onto general point costs. They are not required to open slots for certain things all the time, or at all. If a staff artist doesn't want to offer colorings or linearts they do not have to. Please only post their specific form when their slots are open. This saves everyone hassle. Each artist has a specific form of what they'd like a general idea of and personal rules they will include in their artist thread.
* Be Polite!
~ Each artist is going to run their slots the way they want to - some may go on a first come first serve basis, and others may go on a which they want to draw basis. If the artist you want something from isn't offering slots now, you are welcome to show interest at some point, but DO NOT hassle them or bother them about it. If you are making someone uncomfortable, the staff will be informed and you will receive a minor warning.
* Know the difference between Temporary Art and Full Time Art
~ So you got a Just for Fun piece or a "Temporary Different Artist" Piece from someone. You may have even made that your official piece for the stage. But that does NOT make them your new official artist, unless you went for the Permanent Different Artist route, which needs everyone's approval to do. This means if you just wanna get some fun or experimental stuff from another shop artist, that's ok and you don't use your regular slot.
* Replacement Art/Artists are Free
~ Was something MAJORLY screwed up this stage or did your artist vanish off the face of the earth? Did you plead your case politely to the shop staff without just exploding at us? You are likely not going to have to pay more points to get a new artist or to get the piece redrawn. Mind you, sometimes you might get a different artist for the redraw if the previous artist is having trouble, but that can be worked out.
* Special Note About Art
~ Anyone can start up their own art thread, either free or for points (though the point prices must be discussed since it's a point transfer and people will have to use the point transfer thread for this) so long as it's not sticky. However, it should be noted that in shop, all art is to be of shop characters, concepts, guardians, or related things. If you're making pets to sell in-universe or whatever, that is fine and dandy we'd love it. If you're making accessories, also great. But don't sell art of say someone from another shop or completely off gaia and never going to be a guardian, for shop points. That is kinda taking advantage of the system. That also goes for shop staff artists. :3
