The Rules These are the basic shop rules. They're pretty simple. Note, each subforum will have it's own rules or important threads. Please be aware of this.

General Rules 1. Follow Gaia ToS
2. Please do not steal the shop art, characters, etc.
3. This shop follows the  and would like you to do the same.
4. No excessive chat speak and leet speak. Just please don’t. It gets old after a while.
5. Please don't sell your kid or attempt to bribe an owner out of their kid. It's rude, dishonest, and unfair to others. If you no longer want your child, please request that it be rehomed or given to a friend or retired. Especially since we allow similar concepts, don’t go trying to take someone else’s.
6. Don’t harass the art staff, please. If you have a problem or a waiting issue, please discuss it with the owner or a manager. This also goes for if you are having a problem with another player – please contact a shop manager or the owner.
7. Please do not spam the thread with bumps or emote only posts. By the same virtue, too many gif posts or gigantic page stretchy post formats might be asked to chill on it a bit.
8. Don’t be scared to just talk. We don’t bite in an unfriendly manner. Talk about your day, ask how people are, talk about things going on, whatevers. If a discussion gets out of hand, the staff will let you know, but otherwise, just have fun.
~ 8a. A little note - there are plenty of people in this shop who may not get along. There may be drama from other shops or baggage or whatever. What I am going to emphasize is the following: Dreamery is a safe. zone. - Leave your conflicts at the door. If you don't want to rp with someone FINE, good for you, you do not have to. If you don't want to talk to them, you don't have to do that either. But we are not playing the let's walk on eggshells and send hushed whispers or nasty comments about each other games. We just aren't - cause that is just going to explode into drama later. If you have a problem with someone's existence - leave them alone. If you have a problem where someone is causing you trouble - report them privately to staff. Things will be handled fairly to the best of our abilities. Just try to play nice guys, we aren't 5, y'all shouldn't need to be put in separate corners because you can't be nice, and y'all shouldn't need to hide from things like streams or the shop thread because someone might not like you. If you have a problem, we will try to handle it. But seriously guys, just, take it easy.
9. In the case of trouble, you will receive 1 minor warning, 1 official private warning, 1 public in thread warning (which is when you will be grey listed), and finally banning if the behavior or trouble continues.
10. Beyond that, try to have a good time. The rules are for your benefit, as well as ours, and more may be added as needed.

Activity Rules 1. Try not to abandon us without notice - if you're going to have a sudden absence, please try to post a hiatus notice or have a friend post one. It's polite and keeps us from having to guess. But if you can’t or don’t, don’t sweat it.
2. If you go on hiatus, your front page icons go in the hiatus thread and journals go to the hiatus section. This is just for tidiness – you can still do things with those and have them moved back. This also happens if you vanish for 3 months or more without word. Still only for tidiness.
3. Your character will never be rehomed without permission – even if you end up becoming banned from the shop, your child will not be rehomed unless you say you want them to be..
4. You will not be hassled about activity. You just don’t get points for inactivity. Otherwise, hey, no sweat.

RP Rules 1. Please try to keep rp in 3rd person paragraph format, unless both partners agree to something else.
2. If you want points for things, please link them in your journals.
3. If you rp off gaia either make sure you can link to a publically viewable copy of the doc or a log, or make a log post in your journal or copy things to a thread.
4. The Points Thread lists the different types of roleplay and what they are worth. Please keep a tally of the points earned from that rp in the end of the journal posts logging it.
5. Please only rp characters you have in official capacity – you can rp your guardians, you can rp your kids that you have acquired, but you may not officially play characters you haven’t gotten yet. And don’t rp someone else’s character unless it is an NPC of some sort and you have their permission.
6. When posting a log, please color code or something so we can tell who separate posts are by (or if you decide to make a thread and do individual posts, that’s fine).
7. Don’t godmode and don’t go out of your partner’s comfort zone. No means no guys. Shop staff may be called in to handle issues if things get out of hand.
8. Pretty sure that’s about all we need here. Standard stuff. More rules added as needed.
