For the members who just might not know what to do once they join, here's a check list of things to do, and where to do them!

1 - Make your character's Profile

2 - Create a Journal if it's a boy or a Diary if it's a girl.

3 - Create a House for your character to live in. If you are staying at the INN, just have a character come into the Inn and ask for a room - one of the premade threads will be editted for the character. (It's also a good place to make your first post if this is the case! =D)

4 - Check in the Jobs for one that is free and then ask if you can have it. You can only have a job that is listed AND open. We do not want seventy five blacksmith, for example. Of course, certain jobs can have more than one person doing it, so if you really want one feel free to ask for it. You could also work with the person already doing that job. But once again, ask first. As a rule, only active members will be allowed to own a business. If you are new, you will have to wait at least three weeks before being allowed to own one. In the meanwhile, you can have your character perform one of the many part-time jobs. Or not! Bums are welcome too. =D

5 - Now that you have your job, it's time to make your Business. Create the workplace of your character (Clinic, Gym, Store, etc) if it doesn't already exist.

6 - You should post any relevant information about your character in the Big List of Everything. We like to know stuff like that. Helps us keep statistics too!

7 - You should go read the various threads of information, like the F.A.Q., the Pregnancy thread and the TV Station.

8 - You should be ready to post now! A good place to start would be either the Harbour (hey, you DO need to get to the island, eh?), a business (General Store Perhaps?) or a make / take up a request at the Request Board. It's up to you! Also, you should say hello to your fellow guild members in the OOC
