Yes, yes – Nirvani Island, after so many years, finally found people willing to fund it's very own television station, headed by their very own star reporter – Neil Murrow! Feeling that the residents of the island were probably all illiterate (the drop out rate of the schoolhouse spiked up a lot ever since a certain someone took control..), everyone in the old newspaper crew felt that the best way to get the news out to the world was through TELEVISION! Once the building was erected, however, a whole new slew of television series who were kicked off any reputable network came into their hands to up the viewers and entertain the most bored of watchers! There isn't much variety and, sure, the quality of it all could be better, but when you have some loosely related acquaintance over, why should one bother forcing small talk when they can turn this trash television on instead? Not to mention, anyone who can't afford daycare (or the daycare workers themselves) can always just flip a switch and get a free mechanical babysitter for their pesky children! So, without further ado, sit back and take a look at the TV guide to plan out your lifeless days!

xoxoxoSummer is in full swing, which means that those cool days of spring are long behind us! For the next few days, expect the weather to get hotter! Mornings and evenings will be cool, but make sure you pack water and sunscreen, because the afternoons will be hot. Expect sunny, cloudless days this next week, but don't worry, there will be a bit of a breeze to give you a break from this heat. Be careful out there!

xoxoxoPhew! That week sure dragged on, didn't it? I thought I was gonna melt. I ate so much ice cream and watermelon I got a terrible stomachache! Maybe we should start investing in air conditioners... Anyway, you'll be happy to know that the next week will be much cooler! Expect cloudy skies, with on-and-off rain showers throughout the week. There may even be some light afternoon thunderstorms if we're lucky! But don't think that just because it'll be raining that you should break out your autumn clothes just yet! It'll still be warm, just wet.

xoxoxoIT'S TIME FOR THIS WEEK'S WEATHER REPORT
xoxoxoAhhhh Fall at last! Goddess almighty, it is Fall at last! I don't know about you, but I was getting sooooo tired of all of that heat! Not that it isn't still lingering it's stupid head around, but we have a lot that we can look forward to! Oh, I just love the Fall! As far as your weather goes, the skies will be cloudy with the remnants of all of the rain we've been getting still lingering about. Don't fret just yet! The skies will start to clear up by the end of the week. The winds are a completely other story, however, and you should expect to see some heavy winds throughout the week. You might want to start thinking about dropping all of those shorts and covering up a little!

xoxoxo Remember when I said that the sky would be clearing up? Well, obviously Mother Nature didn't checked our Twitter, because it's raining again! URGH. The pain. And I spent all morning straightening my hair too. Boooo. Isn't that just so unfair? Like, helloooo Nature. *sigh* On the good side of it all, the temperature is just the same, if slightly colder due to that stupid water falling from above, but it'll barely be noticeable. Hey! I just remembered! I have a really cute ducky umbrella I could use....not. With those very strong wind, it would just be shred to pieces! Oh Goddess, gracious! I wonder if that means we'll have a thunderstorm soon.... I hope not!

xoxoxo Oh goodness me. I'm quite sorry that we have not been able to reach your lovely airwaves for so long. Our facilities have been under severe quarantine for the past few seasons. All of our employees have been under watchful eyes for the spreading of a serious virus that one of our very own doctors contracted. Thankfully, we have gotten the green light that we are all clear and are now able to bring you all of your disease related news. As I'm sure many of you know, Fall is not a very good time for health. We are currently observing some cases of Bronchitis across our viewing area. The names of these citizens will follow the report. Bronchitis is a special type of lung illness where the mucus membrane becomes inflamed. Cautionary signs of the illness include long-lasting coughs that may bring up mucus, low fevers, and fatigue. In order to combat this illness, please drink plenty of fluids and obtain cough syrup from your local clinic as necessary. All current cases of Bronchitis are acute and will have worked their way out within the next week or two. Make sure you keep away from these people as Bronchitis is very contagious. xoxoxo Thankfully, we have made it through a great majority of Fall and Winter is directly around the corner. Although it would be our deepest desire to tell you that there are no illnesses currently, that is not the case. The bronchitis outbreak has been successfully contained and was not able to reach epidemic status and those poor souls that were affected are now safe to be around once again! However, we are currently observing some cases of Seasonal Influenza across our viewing area. The names of these citizens will follow the report. Seasonal Influenza is a contagious respiratory illness that can oftentimes come on suddenly. Cautionary signs of the illness include fever or feverish chills, coughing, sore throat, muscle or body ache, and fatigue. In order to combat this illness, please drink plenty of fluids, remain well rested and obtain cough syrup or antiviral medication from your local clinic as necessary. All current cases of Seasonal Influenza are acute and will have worked their way out within the next two weeks with proper care. However, failing to adhere to precautions can cause this illness to worsen into pneumonia. That's all for this round of Quarantine Wednesday! Stay clean and healthy! See you next time!

xoxoxoEek! Sorry guys! I know we're late, but its totally not our fault! The last hurricane knocked our antenna and someone insisted on repaired it themselves and URGH. It was a mess. Oops! I shouldn't talk about it if I was to keep my job... ANYHOW, so the weather is like, totally sunny guys! Woo! Big sun in the sky! Which is a good thing, because its getting quite cold! I wouldn't be surprised if it started snowing soon....but not this week! Yay! But seriously, you guys, if you don't have a good coat, now is the time to get one before its too late.

xoxoxoWelcome, one and all, to your weekly weather report! Sadly, winter has begun. I know some of you may be excited, but I really wish that we could just go back to Fall or speed up to Spring! I'm not too fond of it being so cold! Speaking of which, it's most definitely time for you to bust out those lovely sweaters and big coats! As predicted, we are seeing some snow this week. Although it's only light flurries and will be off and on throughout the week, it's certainly nothing to stay cooped inside for! xoxoxo Hello once again! Thank you for returning for our newest edition of Quarantine Wednesdays. We are glad to relay that the influenza outbreak has been successfully contained and was not able to reach epidemic status and those poor souls that were affected are now safe to be around once again! Unfortunately, there is a new disease sweeping over the viewing area. Currently, Viral Conjunctivitis, or "pink eye" as it is commonly known, has been diagnosed in several patients. The names of these citizens will follow the report. Conjunctivitis is a contagious viral infection of the eyes. Cautionary signs of the virus include red, swollen eyes and a crusty feel upon waking up. In order to prevent catching this virus, stay very hygienic and avoid sharing towels, pillow cases, and other such items with those that may be infected. Unfortunately, Viral Conjunctivitis does not have any concrete form of treatment. However, we advise you to keep the surface clean in order to prevent further spreading. All current cases of Viral Conjunctivitis will most likely have worked their way out within the next two weeks with proper care. That's all for this round of Quarantine Wednesday! xoxoxoWelcome, one and all, to your weekly weather report! It just keeps getting colder and colder around here! I really, really hope that you all are safe and sound in your homes and not out in the elements. Currently, we are observing a large cold front moving in and expect a large storm towards the end of the week and beginning of next week. I really hope that you enjoyed the small flurries we had last week, because this week will have much larger amounts of snowfall. We do not expect any hail or other such violent conditions, but with the dropping temperatures we also don't advise you spend much time outside. Even more snow has accompanied these cold temperatures and we are currently looking at a full blown blizzard heading directly for us. This storm also appears to be one of the biggest that we have seen in a long time and will stay for most, if not all, of the week. Please stay bundled up and warm at home.
