When T'rel stepped onto the warm sands of Ista's Weyrbowl in the gray light of the predawn morning, the man's enthusiasm may have struck an observer as odd. The Weyrlingmaster wouldn't have cared if he'd known. He wasn't known for being an early riser; though it seemed he had been filled with a vigor previously unknown to him. He crossed the Weyrbowl with determination. He had been planning this lesson since Calith's clutch had hardened enough to permit the candidates to visit. It would prove enjoyable, he was sure of it.
"Zellie, call the Weyrlings?"
Weyrlings! Mine wishes for you to meet us in the Weyrbowl. You needn't bring anything but yourselves.
"You could have been kinder about waking them," T'rel began, grinning up at his bronze. Really, he should have expected that, he thought. Zelith was as impatient for the lesson to begin as he was.
Why waste time with a 'good morning', Mine? Thread will not. They must learn to be prepared at all times, Zelith's response was haughty, They had a comfortable time of it at the Feast. If they are always comfortable in lessons, they learn nothing.
T'rel shook his head, grinning. They waited in silence for the first Weyrlings to arrive. Then the lesson would begin. He had decided that instead of a rider-dragon bonding lesson, he would focus on the bonds between the weyrlings themselves the first lesson. They would be working together for turns to come; and who knew? Maybe this would help create friendships! Familarity that would certainly come in handy while dealing with the horrors of Thread.

Miiiiiine.
It was a quiet whisper in her dreaming mind, full of dragons and spiraling and flying in the blue skies. Oh, look at the group of firelizards, all rainbowy!
Kiezamiiiiiine.
What a bothersome sound. It was most certainly not the Weyrwoman's voice, that was for certain.
KIEZA!
"WHAT?!" The girl shot upward on her bed, and with a loud thunk! made contact with a hard-headed dragon skull. Falling backward, she clutched her head and groaned. "Nyyyxbath, you evil creature." She mumbled sleepily, her head pounding with the impact of her head against her dragon's. With a gangly flap of her oversized wings, the Green backed away from the bed, her tail lashing and a croon of delight sounding from her jaw. "Evil." Kieza mumbled once more, rubbing her head and then her sleep-stuck eyes. "Why are you waking me so sharding early?" She murmured, her green eyes now meeting the young dragon's swirling eyes. Zelith calls, Mine. The Weyrlingmaster is calling for us. It took Kieza a moment to register the light in the dim cavern before she yawned widely, realizing the dawn had already lit up the world outside. As much as she hated it, she knew that training a dragon and it's rider would take a lot of time. And sadly, it needed to begin early. So very sadly.
"Alright, alright, my dear Nyx. I'm up. Please grab my clothes from over there?" The girl pointed, and the dragon all the more leapt to the task, her tail wiggling. "Nyx! Careful, don't step on anyone!" She whispered hoarsely, standing up quickly in case her gangly partner decided to foot upon a fellow sleeping Weyrling.
The dragon squeaked softly, and carefully slowed her steps and began to pick her way through the sleeping cavern, making her way around them instead of bounding over them to reach the clothes and boots of her Rider. Lifting them in her mouth, she struggled so hard to keep her composure and not run back to Kieza to show the task completed.
Rubbing the dragon's lovely eyeridges, the girl took the clothes and slipped quickly into them, rolling the sleeves downward to help ward off the dawn air. "Come, we mustn't keep T'rel waiting. I fear to find out if he has a temper for lateness." She whispered, picking her way carefully to the entrance. Stretching, she yawned once more, feeling her blood finally awaken from lethargy. "Shall we race?" Kieza said, peering down at her ever energetic companion. Yes! Yes! Oh please, let's! The dragon let out a bugle of delight and raced forward, leaving her Rider behind. "Wait! I didn't say go!" Kieza shouted, racing after the Green.

It had been something he had been dreading for awhile now, weryling lessons. Not that the young man didn't think he and his dragon could do it, quite the opposite his bonded Potamphith was quite a large blue and he figured that the dragon would have no troubles with lessons at all. It was more..
Mine, I do not wish us to go.
Potamphith was..lazy. He was a lazy dragon who wished nothing more than to lay around their sleeping quarters or when the sun was out in full force go out and find a nice rock and lay there...far...away ..from everyone besides his own.
"You know we can't do that.." Ly'dor began already getting his boots on and his gear ready for the trials of the day. He had become inventive and created padded arm guards to protect himself when he needed to come between Potamphith and...well...everyone else. The young man figured it was probably his fault, he hardly spent time with others so it was...hard to get the big blue to get use to people and their dragons. Ly'dor wondered just how he was going to get the blue to ..get along with everyone.
You are nervous Mine. The blue commented his swirling eyes watching him as he moved about.
"Yes, I am." Ly'dor replied honestly
I can do anything they ask of me. The dragon stated a snort of annoyance in his tone.
"I know you can. You just...why ...?" The blue rider was left wondering the best way to not offend his dragon.
I do not trust them.
"You don't need to ...worry no one is out to hurt you or me. And if you don't attack them they won't have reason to attack us." Ly'dor explained the blue giving a rumble of annoyance deep in his chest, obvious that he still didn't think this was a good idea, even as he hauled himself up onto his feet his head butting into the back of his rider as if to state he watch what he say.
"Come on Potamphith, I am sure we are keeping everyone waiting.." The young man reached up to scratch the blue's eyeridge and his annoyed rumble turned into a pleased one. "Just...don't over react, I am here and I won't let anyone hurt you Potamphith."
I am..more worried about you Mine. Came the blue's response as they moved there was to the training grounds.
Upon arriving he was surprised to discover only the teacher of the lesson and one rider with their green. Getting there had already been slow going, though Ly'dor had learned the routes that were less traveled to allow his dragon to relax. Potamphith was already on edge when he spotted the green dragon and Ly'dor had to put a hand on his neck to reassure him.

Ashlyn
Ashlyn was sleeping peacefully in her bunk, so much so that the blue dragon sleeping next to her did not want to disturb her. Unfortunately, he knew she would be upset if she was late for lessons, so Gyafrith took a deep breath before nuzzling the sleeping girl.
"Five more minutes, Mama,"Ashlyn mumbled sleepily without opening her eyes.
Ashlyn mine, I would hate to wake you, but Zelith just contacted us, time for lessons. You do not want to be late on your first day, do you?Gyafrith asked gently, but firmly. When he mentioned being late, Ashlyn's eyes snapped open and she bolted our of bed.
"No, mustn't late for class. I would never forgive myself if I did,"Ashlyn responded, before she quickly got changed. Once she was dressed, she looked like she might fall over, so Gyafrith nosed her back up and gave her a soft push.
Ashlyn mine, why are you so out of it today? All that excitement leading up to today?the blue dragon asked, his rider nodding her head. She went to splash water on her face, then she headed for the Weyrbowl with her dragon. When they entered, they looked around to see there was only a couple of the other pairs here.

"Bah, as though I would wake mine from her pleasant dreams at the behest of some old man." The muttering words that drew Ameleia forth from her sleep. As she turned to look over a the beautiful gold that was laying near to her, eyes whirling a displeased color, she couldn't help but to wonder what it was that she meant or who she was talking about.
"Mmm... what old man, Tacutath?" She asked in a half asleep manner, noticing that some of the others around her were shifting as well, getting up, apparently being called out by the same 'old man'... though Ameleia couldn't say that she had heard anyone calling for them to get up for a lesson or anything. How weird. Sitting up slowly she set to rubbing at her eyes to try to rouse herself, "Did someone call for us?" If she missed it, if she was late for her first lesson, she was certain that she was going to go down in history as the worst queen rider ever... not the sort reputation that she wanted, not in the least bit.
As though sensing these thoughts Tacutath gave a very unladylike snort, "Never going to happen, Mine. You will be remembered well, you have the most magnificent of queens after all at your side." Egotistical or not the gold felt it and saw no reason why she wasn't the best. She would be so soft queen sitting off to one side, playing word games and allowing the men all of the fun. No, they would right in there! So she supposed that this meant that she would need to pass along the old man's message, didn't it? So that they wouldn't be too late or fall behind the foolish boys. She had to make sure that hers was the best after all, certain that it would help Ameleia to feel that way in turn, "The old man is calling for us, saying that we are to meet him in the Weyrbowl, that we need nothing but ourselves." Something that caused her to puff up a bit, certain that if it was only themselves needed then she would shine.
Ameleia gave a bit of a chuckle, reaching a hand out to scratch Tacutath under the chin, "Alright, Tacutath. We should get ready then." She said, climbing out of her cot, quickly making it, before pulling on fresh clothing for the day. She really was curious to see who the 'old man' was that was wanting to meet with them. So much so that she was pulling her hair into a braid as the two of them hurried for the meeting spot. Upon reaching it she found herself spotting T'rel and his bronze Zelith and her eyes went rather wide, "W-Wait... them? Those are your old men?" She asked in a hushed tone to Tacutath who instantly burst out in peels of draconic laughter, a version of it that was very obviously hers. If they had been missed already everyone was likely to notice them now. Cheeks red Ameleia walked over to join the others, "Good morning." She said, wishing to hush Tacutath's laughter but knew it was impossible when the Gold thought that she had made the best joke ever and as much as she hated to admit it Tacutath had pulled a fast one on her.
"Oh... the look on your face Mine, it was so priceless..." She said, chuckling happily, finding the surprise and embarrassment on Ameleia's face to be quite amusing. When she finally got her laughter under control she looked around a moment, taking in those around her. There was of course the old man, a couple of blues including the fat, grumpy one, and then... ah-ha! As luck would have it a green. Shifting herself to that side of Ameleia she sat near to her sister, favoring her over the rest, more the sort that wanted to be among the girls instead of the males, seeing little use for them at her age.

Mei
She'd felt the excited quaver within her mind, a gut wrenching excitement laced with anxiety. There was a persistence there, a calling that didn't quite form a word but had meaning all the same, beating upon the side of her mind like a drum with an intensity that made her jolt awake.
Mei? Tesrinth's nose lowered to set her chin upon Mei's arm, staring into her eyes with quickly whirling, anxious eyes. I am so sorry to wake you but Zelith.. wishes for us to meet them in the weyrbowl. We… needn't bring anything but ourselves.' her suddenly slow manner of mind-speaking told that she was trying to recall the directions exactly.
Mei groaned and swung her legs over the side, resting one hand on Tesrinth's head as she got her bearings. The green hummed pleasantly at the contact. Already, the other girls around her were getting themselves together, completely engrossed in themselves and their dragons as they shrugged on tunics and pants and headed out the door.
"It's sharding early.." Mei huffed as she pulled a set of working slacks and tunic from the footlocker by her cot. Even during a work day, she usually wasn't up until the sun was already risen and the wherries were chattering.
Maybe it is so we can eat. Tesrinth said hopefully, plastering herself along Mei's leg and nearly hindering the girl from putting on her pair shoes.
"Possibly, are you hungry?"
I'm not full. Tesrinth offered meekly.
"Hungry, in other words." Mei reached down and pat the little green's flank, brow furrowing just a bit. Had she grown overnight? She felt a hair bigger around, a touch taller. "Well then, let's follow the others and see what today has in store for us, hmm?"
She and her green walked casually behind the main throng of weyrlings, not minding the quiet morning reflection to herself. A thunderous, plodding sound caught her attention, as well as the huffing of a rather exasperated sounding young man.
Hennory
"Are we late??" Hennory huffed, practically pushing his nonplussed, chubby blue along. "I woke up and everyone on my row had already left."
He let out a sigh of relief at Mei's smirk and shake of her head.
There was no need to hurry, or worry. You were sleeping very deeply. The dragon's completely unapologetic tone made it unnecessary for his flustered companion to placate him. Instead, the young man merely sighed and fell into stride with the rather short woman. They'd not had time to talk really; a few words had been exchanged at the feast but nothing really of substance. She'd been whisked off by his family for most of the night, and Mei by hers. He'd opened his mouth to say something, but thought better of it as they drew closer to the large bronze and his rider that would be their Weyrlingmaster.

As the Weyrlings began to arrive, T'rel flashed a bright smile. He couldn't remember looking forward to drills like he had this lesson. "Ly'dor and Kieza, isn't it? You two are the--Ashlyn!" He chuckled, shaking his head. He hadn't expected them to react so well to his summons, let alone obey them without question the first time around. "Good morning," he greeted the three weyrlings with another smile. "The Weyrleader has allowed me to fly with you, for a short time. That won't be happening for some time, though."
"Good morning, Ame," he flashed then goldrider a grin. "And a good morning to you as well, Tacutath," he bowed slightly, "She seems to have found something amusing. Mind sharing?" He paused and looked over his shoulder. "We'll wait a while for the lesson to begin," he said. "Did anyone see if your fellows were coming? I'd hate to hand out extra chores your first sevenday as riders."
"Oh, there you are, Mei," he greeted the girl with a smile, "I thought you and -- your friend would be late!" His gaze fell onto Hennory, and added, "I don't think I got your name. Don't worry, though! By the end of this lesson, everyone will know each others names,. I am going to assume most of you know each other from candidancy; so we're going to play a game." He handed each candidate a piece of parchment and writing utensil. "Think of it like a scavenger hunt. I want each of you to find two things you didn't know before about each person here, including myself. Then you'll share your findings with the rest of us. Remember that the majority of you will be in the same Wing one day. You will have to learn to trust your wingmates as you do yourself."

Ashlyn
Ashlyn smiled softly to the Weyrlingmaster when he greeted her, though not sure how he already knew her name.
Perhaps he figured it out after your wonderful display of being a leader yesterday during the hatching. Little hard not to be known when you shine like that, Ashlyn mine,Gyafrith suggested to her mental question. Ashlyn looked down at her blue partner and smiled softly, he had such high hopes for her and she hoped she could live up to them.
"Maybe, guess we will have to wait and see,"Ashlyn said softly to him. Then she turned back around and listened as he explained their first assignment and fear filled her.
Ashlyn mine, you will do fine, you can handle this. You have me, I will help you communicate with your fellow riders. You want to have friends, right?Gyafrith asked, his rider nodding her head.
Alright, then trust yourself and be willing to get to know them,Gyafrith added.

The young man felt his heart sink and grow tight in his chest. Though T'rel was warm and welcoming he felt that this day was going to end in a disaster. Especially when given the task of learning about his wingmates. Sighing he took parchment in hand and glanced between the gold rider and the green rider. The easy part being that he didn't know anything about either of them, so anything he learned would be new. The hard part would be...
What a ridiculous task. came the annoyed tone of Potamphith already uneasy with the presence of the green and the addition of the gold wasn't helping matters. The the other two candidates had shown up and it was purely willpower keeping the blue dragon in place.
"We are only asking questions...calm down." Ly'dor whispered to his blue who was looking two and fro between the gold and green before settling down in an agitated state. TAil lashing to and fro like a cat anticipating an attack from a kitten. Sighing he went to approach the closest person to him the gold rider. At least he would learn names today.
Potamphith didn't move but was watching the gold and the girl out of the corner of his eyes. There was a lot about the blue that made him seem aloof and not dangerous. But he was waiting and watching, any sudden movement I. His direction did not go unnoticed and any hostile attempts on his Mine would result in an explosion of aggression from him.

Mei
"Typically I'm punctual for most things." Mei stated matter of factly, brows furrowing as she accepted the parchment and writing stick. She wasn't keen on having such a task before breakfast, but she tactfully bit the inside of her mouth and kept her thoughts very much to herself. The agitated state of Potamphith had little Tesrinth on edge, hiding from the blue's sight by using Mei's legs as a barrier.
She looked towards T'rel expectantly for further instruction. Were they to just.. start talking to one another now, or was there some particular rules they had to follow? Mei opted to merely stand there looking confused instead of speaking out; it was never fun speaking up then getting made fun of by a teacher.
Hennory
Hennory merely nodded as he accepted the items from T'rel, assuming the extension of his name was not yet necessary since the statement had not been a request. He spun the writing stick idly between his fingers as he glanced around at the other weyrlings that had gathered.
So we only need to talk to the others? This is an easy assignment. Halusilth remarked smugly, having already sprawled out on the ground in an attempt to soak up any heat from the sun that was soon to come up.
"Agreed.." Hennory muttered out loud, kneeling down to pat his blue's ample sides.

When the pair finally reached the Bowl... Kieza huffing as she tried to keep up with her wistful, wiry companion, they noticed others slowly arriving. All were sleepy-eyed, but awake and seeming ready for the day. Sort of. It was not shocking that many were tired. But they seemed unscathed - unlike herself. Kieza pouted slightly and rubbed the sore and probably bruised spot on her forehead, and then looked down at the dragon who was walking around her, crooning softly as they finally came to a stop. Nyxbath could clearly feel her Rider's nervousness, the girl was not a remarkably social person, and would at this moment be somewhere else, by herself with her Dragon. Instead, here she was.
Everything will be fine, Mine! Your Nyx will protect you from all evil!
At that moment, the small Queen dragon and her Rider came to stand beside Kieza. Letting out a bugle of delight and recognition, Nyxbath leapt at the Gold and wrapped her up in legs, wings and tail, long tongue flicking out in a merry way to lick at Tacutath's maw.
Oh, my sister! So happy to see you!
The Green crooned, delighted. Her Rider on the other hand, looked taken aback and a bit embarrassed, her face turning a deep shade of pink. Sometimes, Kieza wished she had her dragon's energy and easy nature.
When T'rel made his rounds handing out the supplies, Kieza ducked her head shyly and took the proffered things, trying hard to keep her face still. The task was getting to know the fellow Weyrlings... her heart sank. Oh dear.
Nyxbath continued to lick at Tacutath until she felt Kieza's apprehension mounting, her heart sinking. No no no. This would not do at all! The Green leapt away from her cutchmate and barreled into Kieza's legs, knocking her down to lay on her back in the sands.
Caaaaaalm, my lovely KiezaMine! Caaaaaalm. Nyxbath is here for yoooou! You mustn't fear!
She stared down into her Rider's eyes, crooning calmly, uncaring if her actions brought stares. This was her lovely, hers alone. She would protect her always! The gangly Green nuzzled Kieza's face lightly, talons lightly kneading at the girl's shoulders in semblance of a calming of tension. Kieza sighed, her eyes closing as she fought back laughter and a snort at Nyxbath's action. "I'm fine. Please. Let me up?" She murmured pleadingly.
Nope.
"But you're heavy."
Nope.
"Please? I'll feed you extra well?"
The Green considered this for a moment, before rolling off her Rider with a huff, eyes whirling as she let out a whistle.
I'll hold you to that~!
"Trickster." She mumbled, sitting up and shaking her hair of sand particles. She tried not to look around at how the others must be looking at her.

Ameleia glanced over at T'rel as he greeted her, giving a little wave in return, "Good morning." She said, then blinked a couple times as he asked if she minded sharing what it was that had Tacutath so amused, "Ummm... it... it's sort of an inside joke." She explained, hoping that would be all when it came to his curiosity over what Tacutath was laughing at. Last thing she wanted was for the two of them, T'rel and his bronze, to learn that the young gold had referred to them both as 'old men' since she didn't think that they were all that old at first glance. After giving each a looking over she gave a nod to herself as though to confirm it, not old at all. If Tacutath wanted old after all that would be T'dej's father she thought to herself.
It wasn't long before T'rel was explaining what it was that they would be doing today, it was a strange sort of thing but in the long run she supposed that it made sense. One had to know everyone around them if they were going to be in the same Wing... though as she thought that she found herself wondering how exactly she played in here. Tacutath wasn't allowed to do the same things as some of the others after all, she was Gold, and had different duties. Nevertheless it was probably a good idea to get to know everyone regardless. These were the people who were riders to Tacutath's siblings after all and that made them important to Ameleia for that reason and that reason alone.
"Mmm, an interesting assignment. I think that you should meet with them first, Mine." Tacutath instructed as she pointed at her green sister and her rider, then to Ashlyn but completely left out her dragon since he was male and not as important, then gave a nod, "Those three will suffice for now and..." Whatever she might have been about to say was cut off as her enthusiastic green scaled sister was suddenly pouncing on her, showing her much affection, and Ameleia had to lift her hands up to smother some giggles. Well, at least they were meeting with one of those that Tacutath had pointed out she thought to herself before she noticed someone approaching her, the one that had impressed a rather thick Blue.
"Good morning." She greeting him sweetly, he seemed a little on the shy side, didn't he? How cute! Kind of reminded him a bit of T'dej, "My name is Ameleia, and that is Tacutath." She introduced herself and the Gold that was getting loved on by the green.
"It is good to see you again, dear sister, I am glad to see you are well." The Gold said, able to deal with the affection from the green due to her being what she was, one of her sisters. Was one of the others to attempt such a thing though she wouldn't be nearly as amiable about it. As though she wanted some boy doing such a thing, best that they kept themselves at a polite distance from her. A moment later the green was bouncing away from her, off to tackle her rider instead. Tacutath watched a moment before turning back to Ameleia, giving a sigh as she did so, "Wrong one, Mine... Speak with that one perhaps, not the jittery rider of that fat blue!" She scolded, giving her a nudge as though to get Ameleia to speak with another like her instead of this boy that had come out of no where to bother hers. Not something she cared for in the least, the look she gave Ly'dor speaking volumes about that.
Ameleia glanced over at her, lifting a hand to rest it lightly on the top of her head, fingertips rubbing against it in a gentle manner, "Now, now, Tacutath. We need to make friends with everyone, not just those you deem worthy." She told her in a tsking manner. Being too choosey would make them seem standoffish, not something that Ameleia cared for, "We will talk with everyone in turn." Or at least that wanted to talk with them that was.

"Ah," T'rel flashed a smile at Ameleia. "You'll have plenty of those, I'm sure. Zellie likes telling me how we should celebrate his existance every once in a while. Especially during gathers," he smirked at the memory. "Seems to dislike the noise, unless the noise is for him. He certainly doesn't appreciate when I remind him that we've already celebrated his presence." Zelith had informed him once that the celebration in question had been one for all, and naturally, he deserved one of his own.
He began to mingle among the Weyrlings, pausing once in a while to listen. He had been hoping this would be a good introduction to further lessons. "After this lesson," he began, "We will work on feeding and oiling your dragons. Remember that though the focus on our lesson today is getting to know each other, your dragons are the reason we're here. You will learn how to cut meat to size so they don't choke--or get their heads stuck in buckets," he grinned at the memory. "Your Weyrleader got his dragon's stuck in a bucket once," he informed them. "He hadn't prepared the meat at a pace Gereth thought proper. Though this story has an amusing ending--yours may not," the smile faded. "Left to fend for themselves, your hatchings will look for something to eat. They may get stuck. Injured, burnt--attacked by tunnelsnakes, angry whers. You have to be prepared at all times."
He paused, and smile back in place, went to Mei's side. "Why don't you start with me?" he asked. "Go ahead. You can ask me two questions."

Mei (Response to T'rel)
Mei had been strangely attentive for how early it was in the morning, stylus and parchment in hand and eyes following T'rel with a hawklike intensity. No way she was going to be made an arse of on first day of class. She was making a concentrated effort to remain attentive and maintain eye contact. When T'rel turned her way, she was not hesitant to lock eyes to read his intent. Her eyebrow had only given the slightest of quirks when he actually began walking her way, but was quick to wipe it off her face.
Luckily, any of Mei's 'first day of lessons' jitters were alleviated since she'd previously spoken with T'rel, but that didn't necessarily mean she was too casual. She put on a business-like face and nodded when the Weyrlingmaster approached her. Perhaps it was a little hilarious to see her act that way without being behind a counter. Regardless, she pointedly placed her stylus to the parchment and scrawled T'rel's name in neat scripting.
Tesrinth's clunky head snaked around from behind Mei to stare up at the Weyrlingmaster, as if unsure of what to think of this whole situation. Curling close to her partner, she looked from T'rel and back to her rider as she watched the exchange.
"Alright. What is your most unfavorite, 'can't even eat it' food? Second question, what is your biggest pet peeve?" She busily scrawled little annotations on which questions she had asked, spacing them accordingly and punctuating each with a neat little bullet.
Hennory (Tag Ly'dor)
It hadn't surprised T'rel that he'd gravited towards Mei first. With how attentive she'd become, and direct with her eye contact, Hennory wondered if perhaps the Weyrlingmaster had felt some sort of obligation to oblige her with a first interview. His back straightened and he smoothed out his clothes with his free hand, a casual gesture to most people who may have been watching, but with a person begin attentive enough to where his attention had been, it was a bit more obvious that he was rerouting his original destination, which had been to interview Mei.
He quickly surveyed the other candidates, trying to ascertain just who was not paired up yet with another weyrling.
This should not be a hard decision. Halusilth said with a soft yawn, pulling his bulk up off the ground before scuttling in the direction of an unoccupied group. Hennory followed along, matching the blue's stride easily as they moved towards Ly'dor. The stocky blue slunk back down onto the ground just out of lunging distance of the wound-up Potamphith, with Hennory very quickly-and a touch conveniently- stood in front of his dragon to address his fellow weyrling. "Well then, I hope you don't mind if I pair up with you first. Ly'dor, is it? Would you like to go first, or shall I?"
