It turns out that what Nel sought the entire time was redemption for his kingdom, when in fact it was not his kingdom that needed redemption, but himself.
She tried to save the world from the grasp of an evil empire, but as it happens, the "evil" empire Lera so despised was in fact the only protection between her people and an ancient evil.
Although Mallar began his quest as any other mercenary job, it turns out that he would himself hold the keys to the kingdom, the very future of the world he cared so little for was in his hands, and it was then that he realized he cared.
Although Claudio was seeking vengeance and freedom, it turns out his enemy was doing the same. He felt as if the enemy was too ruthless and violent, but he didn't realize that he himself was just as vile and they. Do the ends really justify the means?

If you simply want to share it for feedback, then by all means, share it. it's a little unpolished, but the basic idea is this Harry has spent a week on Demonreach Island, now he's in Arctis Tor and he's with Molly, who may be able to get the parasite out of his head before it explodes. Mab has accepted Molly but she's quite depressed about the loss of her daughters, Maeve and Sarissa. One dead and the other living in Summer lands. She has a new task for Harry, he has to find and bring to her a group of people. She hasn't told him who these people are, only that he'd know them by sight. The purpose of this? She needs some of their blood to power a spell that will strengthen the defenses at the Outer Gates... I might post it up in the fanfics subforum here in the guild but I'm mostly doing this for the sheer enjoyment, as well as practice.
