First chance to update since getting to camp. Been pretty good so far mainly just prep at this stage. Wont have kids for another week. Been asked to be head of ropes for summer, so guess thats cool. Been trained on Level 2 ropes (Canadian standards). Last night was the first night out of camp (most people went drinking, though since I didnt have a day off today like most I basically just hung out). I found out today that I hooked up after the night out, I couldnt find out who with, will be interesting when I hear the full rumour.

Hope all is well with you guys. All is well here but pretty tiring so far.

You found out that you hooked up with someone? Is this something that actually happened, or s**t's just flying around about it? What's this rope stuff about anyway?

Yep the next evening someone came up to me before dinner and was like "heard you had a good night last night" I was like "Yeah, it wasnt bad?" and they were like "Yeah that you hooked up" I was like "Did I?, you sure it was me?" and they were like "yeah of course" I asked more about it but they didnt know who. But after I posted that I ended up talking to someone and finding out who it was apparently with. Its a nice girl, someone who I wouldnt mind getting to know a bit better at least, but not necessarily in that way. But yeah not sure exactly how it started, we had chatted a fair bit before the night out, and on the night out...but not at all that nigh after returning to camp.



Not really some schools are like that, but I doubt it was all, there are always the type who just dont have sex for various reasons, but yeah there are schools where most girls are pretty slutty, in NZ they are known as Catholic schools.

Yeah camp....just like cruise ships....is a different world than the real one.

I thought you said it had turned out to be untrue Sage? Ah well. Glad you're having a jolly good time and you'll be able to rope the children soon. With no injuries even though standards are dangerous >_>

Yeah its untrue. Yep should be able to this next week or if not the one after. The standards are okay enough in the short term. But "okay enough" shouldnt really be the main practice. I will keep a close eye on it though.

Ropes course, climbing walls, ziplines etc

I love high ropes.

But I worked running a high ropes course at a camp in NJ before I was even on gaia, and worked on one in OH and CA in 09/10 respectivly. So yeah something I have quite a bit of experience with.
