As day began to fade into the unknown of night, young and wild types were frantic to find their way to either a date or some engagement. The wind rustled into what seemed like a good, stormy night to have on such a night where activities were lively. Tipene, who did not mind the wild settings of dinner, relaxed in a distant spot, the wind ruffling his fur; he was close enough to all the hustle and bustle, but enough to be on his own should he feel like it. The lion's lazy, but interested gaze softened upon the groups who had not decided where to go or what to do, precisely. His blue eyes gazing upon one curious dragon who seemed to be enjoying himself. Part of Tipene longed to be as free as the other seemed, naturally unsure his true persona. While he liked being a free spirit of sorts, he seemed to fall back, unsure of actually taking the plunge towards the way of life he envied. As his depressing thoughts began to swirl into his mentality, he scratched under his chin and turned away, watching another passing group with a few gawkers towards the lion.

The night was young, and Polly had so much to do. What he would do? He didn't know. Not yet. But this was one of those nights where things were bound to happen. Adventure at every corner. Lovely ladies to court. And no babysitters... Yes, he was growing quite tired of his assistants lately, never letting him out of site. Sure, he may not do what was asked of him most of the time, and he did run away nearly every day, but what else could they expect. They all need to loosen up a notch. Especially 69...
But he wouldn't be all alone tonight. He had only a few hours off, so 42 was bound to come looking for him eventually. He didn't mind though. Not at all. It only meant he'd have someone to drag with him into freedom. But a question echoed his mind. What shall I do until he gets here?
Now, any decent guy would've thought of doing those things his friend might not be so fond of, but Polly decided to save just those things for when he got there. In his eyes, torture was the best way to show affection. Or so it seemed. But of course, this meant he had no idea what to do for the next couple of hours. I need to find me a toy...

Mustering all he could, strength and the like to visibly mingle with other beings around, the male lifted himself and began walking towards a wider location, dinner being served everywhere. The smells that appealed to Tipene made his stomach growl as he passed by colorful beings, a seemingly dashing red catching his blue eyes before he turned his attention away. He prepared to start to get some dinner, although his attention wavered towards the other male he saw, staring for a bit of time before turning away. As intriguing the male was, he would not give the time of day to really make contact, more interested in getting a bite to eat than some happy-go-lucky type. Tipene snorted a bit at the mere thought of someone like himself talking freely to someone like the red-colored creature. It was not impossible to, he knew, but felt very improbable with so many being out tonight, feeling a bit dull in comparison to someone brighter, more attractive to the eyes. Unlike him, many beings of activity and blissful interactions were much more concerned with the appearance of someone they were with. Ignoring more negativity, he began to eat his meal, mainly meat and nothing really specially made.

As he walked through the streets, Polly kept his eyes towards the stars, appearing on the sky one by one as the sun went down so gently. As crowded as it was, he felt absent to the rest. Most of the time, a stranger was simply someone who hadn't had the pleasure to play with him yet. But tonight, none catched his eye. Until suddenly, there he was.
It was something about the bright blue colours that lured him in. Somehow he felt that he should hate that colour, that of his stuck up brother, but instead he felt drawn to it. The rush of conquering someone with the innocent blues, proving himself superiour to his brother somehow. It didn't make sense, and it didn't have to. He just knew that guy with the alluring eyes would be his for the night.
Polly slide in closer, like a graceful feline on the hunt, a snake in the grass. The beautiful Lion before him was so busy with his dinner that he didn't seem to notice the sudden company. Carefully leaning in towards his ears, he spoke with a gentle, yet unnerving tone of voice. "What adventures will you roam on tonight, pretty boy?"
