The ground shakes and fractures; out of the fissure rises a large palace made of crisp alabaster. The outlying guard house opens up into a grand courtyard. In the middle of it lies an expansive reflecting pool lined with palms. Ahead, the sheen on the door glints gold. The palace's majestic dome shines as pristine as the crystal clear sky. As you approach the doors, they were much larger than you were expecting.
You walk up the steps to take in the view from the entrance. The guardhouse was gone and the reflecting pool a somber memory. Were they even there to begin with? Was this some sick mirage and you were just severely dehydrated?
Suddenly a deep voice booms, "Incantation!"
You shudder at the thunderous demand. Your eyes rest on the door and you realize the glittering designs were actually letters spread about it. The wind whips at your feet and you jump back to the last step.
On the ground before the door lays a series of lines indented in the sand. Perhaps it's a clue?

How to Play Starting Jun 23, 2013, I will open sign-ups. Like with Easter, I will have you PM me your forms. I'm looking for 10 able-body medaria to participate.
I will leave the sign-ups open until I get 10 players or a week lapses, whichever comes first. When sign-ups close, the first round will begin. So if everyone enters early on a round, I will close that week early. A master will be chosen, and the next round will be on the next start date.
Ah, you saw I mentioned "Master," yes, well, I have accumulated a number of Genies or Djinns (some get persnickety about their title). Unfortunately, they broke free and have run amok inside this palace. They won't listen to me, so it's your turn to tame them.
So how this works… Each week, a Genie/Djinn will present you with a task. If you meet the requirements, you will have a chance to own that one. However, if you don't, you will be transported back to the main hall to wait the next round. IF no one reaches the requirement at the end of the week, I will select (RNG) a master.
Now… when you are given a request, it must be RPed by your pet entered. How does your medaria react to the situation? How does it approach the task? So on, so forth...
If you win a Genie/Djinn, I kindly ask you to leave and participate in other events. As you have become a master of one of these creatures. OR you have the option to pass on 1 winning. However, that will then go to the next person in line and they cannot pass.

This event will run for 7 weeks.
The more you play the more you get! Prompts start every Sunday @ 5PM Only if there is an emergency will it be postponed
RP Points Entry is 5 pts Daily point rounds are worth 2 pts Otherwise it will be 10 pts
These will be given out at the end of the event.
And of course your hand at a Genie/Djinn!

The first drape rises and you all rush in the first room. You see the genie cursing at something on the alabaster floor. He swipes up what you make out to be as dice. You hear the familiar rattle of dice and then you see him throw them down again.
Finally his gaze meets the group and he scowls. He points a shaky interrogating paw in your direction. "I'd like to see you try and best me!" he roared. You all exchange glances as to what he could possibly mean. "You see these dice?" he smirked, "Time for a game of chance."
This task is simple. Roll 5 6d. Goal 1: Roll 5 6's - instant win Goal 2: Roll 5 3's will get you onto the short list at the end of the round Goal 3: Have a mixture of 3's with other numbers? Take the amount of 3's out and re-roll the remainder. If you do not get any more 3's in the next roll; stop and count up that roll of their face values. Do this for the rest of the week; add up your Daily Totals and the final score you want to be "low man." Now if you do re-roll and get another 3, repeat. You're goal is to get on the short-list. (five 3's) You want the lowest amount possible.
Now, you may try daily for the instant win. However, if you do, keep in mind Goal 3.
If there is no instant win, or short list. Low man wins. I will be keeping track. Just have fun!
Now, if there is an instant winner, the round will immediately end and Round 2 will start on the following Sunday.
Turbo sauntered into the room, and soon became aware of the other competitors, already vying for the attention of a handsome young genie. Snorting, she shoved her way closer and stared daggers into his back until he finally turned to acknowledge them. As he spoke, she greedily eyed his golden accessories, and only half listened to his words as her attention was drawn to his genie's lamp.... He was the ultimate prize, and it was her goal to do whatever it took to gain his loyalty.
When the dice were offered to her, she grinned wickedly and snatched some up in her paws; she was nothing if not lucky. "This one is for my reputation as a treasure hunter."
Daja isn't about the let Turbo win this, no, he has to take the attentions of this genie from her! He snatches up the dice after the lady goes first, giving a glance to the genie before letting them roll.
"Come on...." He breathes, watching them settle upon the ground.
He scoffed at the dice, having lost rather poorly. At the least he had 18 points.
Turbo picked up the dice with the number 3 showing and gripping it tightly in her hand, then she snatched four more from the large pot of dice and started to shake them wildly in her other hand. This was serious business, she had to get as many 3s as possible, more than this other female at the very least. "Come on, one more try!" she said in a low voice, letting the dice fall where they may.
The young femme smirked in satisfaction and picked up another 3, placing it in her paw with the first. This was it, she just had to keep rolling until her luck ran out. "And again!" The dice spilled out of her paw, her eyes watching them eagerly.
Edit: "Damn!" she cried. "I guess I'm left with 8 points."

UPDATE Seeing as I changed this from a one-time deal to a daily thing, you'll get counted for daily participation.
Now, I'll worry about the time frame... but if you're interested it's 5-5PM (that 24 hr cycle) I'll keep track, if I mess up, please point it out to me XD
