 Welcome to Team Aqua! If you like water Pokémon and taking over the world, then this is the place for you! With Archie as our malevolent leader, we plan to eventually achieve our goal of flooding the entire Pokémon world. However, word has reached us that a plan has formed to sabotage our plans. With the new power we've obtained, we'll crush our enemies soon enough and then nothing will stop us! Join today! Chapter One:After a mysterious turn of events, the original members of the good Team Aqua have been introduced to an entirely new universe where they are a part of a criminal Team Aqua under the rule of their main enemy; Archie. Everyone has lost their memories and the future is looking quite cloudy. Chapter Two:Archie and his new crew of Aquans have successfully cooled the magma in Mt.Chimney, allowing for the once active volcano to become a future habitat for Water Pokemon. However, to power the old meteorite machine, they had to use a strange-looking girl with weird powers... Chapter Three:Things seem to have taken a turn for the worst. Archie and Team Aqua raided Pacifidlog for an engine part of still-unknown function, and after damaging the integrity of the rafts that kept the very town safely afloat, Archie commanded Maddy to burn the town. Maddy refused but was tortured into obeying, and the rest of the Team watched in horror as her strange flames, unfaltering, put a quick end to the town. A rebellion is stirring in the hearts of the Aquans, and Matthias, the current executive rank, will lead them through it.

RP Rules
These rules govern your conduct within the RP, and include some general rules about Pokemon. They are subject to change with or without notice. It is your job to check them for updates.
1. No Spamming. This includes, but is not limited to, chatting about signatures, advertising websites, single word posts, using Chatspeak (ROFL, LOL, LMAO, ect.), posting anything not RP related in HQ, using the wrong sub-forum, double and triple posting, and OOC chat.
............Violation #1: Warning and post deleted.
............Violation #2: Suspended for 4 Days.
............Violation #3: Banned.
2. No Flaming. This includes, but is not limited to, caps lock, putting down every idea they have, being generally mean, hateful or disrespectful.

3. God-modding will not be tolerated! This includes, but is not limited to, having your Pokemon take on an impossible number of enemies with only taking minimal to no damage, using Character Powers to become invincible or take down 101 Neo Rocket Admins, etc.
............Violation: Handled on a case to case basis. If your are God-modding with powers, powers are taken away and not returned and the user is warned. If God-Modding with Pokemon, suspension, demotion and banning become more likely. With this rule, only 1 warning is given.
4. All Pokemon must be caught in a mission or RP. The only exception would be Pokemon Eggs, which are, in fact, not caught, but obtained.
............Violation: Pokemon taken away until a proper way to obtain is completed. Should the violator continually do this, more severe action may be taken.
5. All evolutions and egg hatching must be approved by someone in Tier 1. For the most part, Pokemon require 10 Evolution Points (Evo Points) to evolve. Eggs hatch after you've owned them for a certain number of days. See the Pokemon Rules for more information.
6. You must keep track of the evo point total of your Pokemon in your profile. Failure to do so will result in your Pokemon not being able to evolve. Tier 1s will check for this information every time a Pokemon is asked to be evolved. See the Pokemon Rules for more information concerning evolving.
............Violation: Pokemon not able to evolve. User notified. More serious action may result should it continue.
7. All trades must be approved by someone in Tier 1. Trading must be agreed upon by both people involved. Trading with an NPC is not allowed. Also, trades may not happen until both owners have had the Pokemon for at least 5 days. You may ask for trades in the Grand Aqua Bazaar sub-forum.
............Violation: Pokemon not traded. Users notified. More serious action may result should it continue.
8. Try your very best to be active. Yes, life happens, but we would still love for you to post at least once a week to let us know you haven't fallen off a cliff. Inactive member's profile will be moved to the Profile Archives, and depending on the situation, you could receive a rank down upon return. To participate in contests, you must post in HQ at least 3 times each week during the contest dates. Should you wish to terminate membership, please notify a Tier 1 member.
9. All members must create a profile in the Profile Subforum. The profile must follow the guidelines post within the Subforum.
............Violation: If a member is active in the RP for a few days but is yet to create a profile, they will lose rights to participate in the RP until a profile is created. We understand that profiles may take a few days to set up properly.
10. All posts should be kept PG-13. So no excessively vulgar language, sexual content, excessive violence, or any other unacceptable materials should be seen in a post.
............Violation: Handled on a case to case basis. Usual procedure: Post edited, or deleted and person warned. Should the behavior continue, more severe actions may occur.
11. Above all, we are a Team. This means that no members should be added to another member's "Ignore" list on Gaia. If you have a problem with someone, please talk it over in PMs, but under NO circumstances should you completely ignore someone. This causes serious problems as you cannot see "Ignored" user's posts which could cause issues if something plot oriented is going on.
............Violation: Ignoring user asked to remove ignored user from Ignored list. Should Ignoring continue, banning or suspension of Ignoring user may occur and all future attempts to join Aqua will be ignored.
12. Training Role-Play Missions may be hosted by anyone in Tier 4 and higher. People below Tier 1 can only host 1 per week, but may participate in as many as they like. A Training RP (TRP for short) is an exploratory mission, with at least one other person, that gives you the chance to battle wild Pokemon and strengthen your team. The Pokemon you can catch during a TRP depends on your rank.
............Tier 5: Only Baby- or Basic-stage Pokemon. No Legendaries.
............Tier 4: Only Baby- or Basic-stage. No Legendaries.
............Tier 3: Anything up to 1st-stage, except Legendaries.
............Tier 2: Anything except Legendaries.
............Tier 1: Anything except Legendaries.
13. Concerning people who lead RPs/TRPs. After you host an RP/TRP, it is your responsibility as host to compile a list of which users in the RP caught what Pokemon and, if you are allowed and gave out a rank-up, to list who ranked up to what and from what. It will then be your job to either edit these changes into the Rank and Pokemon List or PM the list to a Tier 1 so they can do it. This may sound confusing, so feel free to send Maddymage a PM for a more in-depth explanation and a template to follow.
............Violation: Rights to host RPs/TRPs temporarily taken away. If the problem persists, rights to host are permanently removed.
14. This is a Pokemon RP. No one is allowed to be any species other than human or have any magic powers/strange weapons and the like. This RP takes place in the Pokemon Universe. We live with Pokemon and we fight using our Pokemon. At this time, hybrids (Pokemon human crossbreeds) are not allowed unless you're Tier 2 or higher. If you have any concerns, message a Tier 1 member.
............Violation: You will be asked to change whatever is not Pokemon-related about your character. Failure to do so will result in not being allowed to participate in the RP until changes are made or a possible banning.

Definition of Spam/Chatting:
1. Sig requests, chatting about sigs and 'look at my sig' type posts are considered spam.
2. Advertising other threads or guilds or websites not directly related to Aqua is considered spam.
3. Single word posts such as hello, hi, or bye are not permissible and are classified as spam. Also, "LOL", "ROFL", "OMG", and the likes by themselves are not permitted.
4. Posting pictures that do not relate to the RP is also spam.
5. If your post contains no RP action in it then it is spam.
6. Out-of-Character chat (OOC) is considered spam when posted in the main RP thread.
If you want to say something in HQ try to make it a coherent sentence. That means it clearly outlines a reasonable thought. That thought should be related in some way to the Team.

Maddy awoke to a sharp knocking sound at her bedroom door.
"Maddy! Wake up! Please, something is wrong!" It was Kayla.
Maddy jumped out of bed and quickly pulled some clothes on, stumbling to the door and opening it. The girl standing in front of her was in a panick.
"Go look outside. Out over the ocean. There's this... thing. It's sucking in everything!" Kayla cried, her voice filled with distraught.
Maddy turned and ran over to her bedroom window. In the distance there seemed to be a hole of some sort floating above the ocean.
"What the Hell is that?!" She asked herself, punching the window and shattering it.
She threw herself out the window and with a flash of purple light her wings appeared and she took off into the sky, flying towards the "hole".
As she got closer, so felt a strong wind pulling her forwards and she could now see that the hole was more like a rift of some sort. It was slowly getting bigger and the wind coming from it was getting stronger.
"This... isn't good. I wonder if it's related to what happened with Brian and the others..."
Maddy turned around to head back to the castle and see what she could do, but as she did so another bigger rift opened up directly above the castle, tearing the structure apart and sending half of it flying into a dark abyss.
"N-No! Dark! The kids! I gotta--" Maddy was cut off as the bigger rift began to pull her in. The force was overwhelming, she was going to get sucked in if she didn't do something soon.
She took a deep breath and, her eyes burning with tears as she looked on at what remained of her home, she disappeared in a brilliant flash of light.
A few seconds passed and Maddy reappeared again in the human world. What she saw next did not please her at all. She was meant to be flying above Aquos Island, but nothing was there. Nothing at all. Right where Aquos was supposed to be was a rift about twice the size of the one that had just destroyed her castle. Looking around, she could see many rifts opening up all over the place, many far in the distance. The world, as she knew it, was not doing too well.
"What's... going to happen?" Maddy asked herself as she tried to take the whole situation in.
But she didn't have enough time to think. She was getting pulled into one of the rifts. She desperately began to fly away, but it was no good. She was only slowing the inevitable.
After a few moments of struggle, she sighed and closed her eyes.
"Everyone else... must be on the other side of those rifts."
She turned to face the rift that was sucking her in and ceased all wing movement.
"There's only one way to find out."
She held her breathe as she was drawn closer and closer to the rift. And then...
Maddy opened her eyes. She was floating in what seemed to be nothing, surrounded by darkness. Giratina and Reshiram appeared in front of her, glowing with a pale blue light.
"Guys... What are you--"
"It is time for us to go." Her two legendaries spoke in unison, their voices sounding inside Maddy's head.
"You do not need us anymore. The time for us to be tame by humans has ended."
"B-But... What about my other Pokemon? And Aqua? What's happening?!" Maddy shouted at them, she wasn't sure whether to be angry or afraid.
"Some will remain with you, but what happens here on out is clouded." They replied.
"Th-That doesn't expla--"
"Farewell."
There was a flash of white light and Maddy blacked out.
She was unsure of how much time had passed, but when Maddy awoke again she was lying on the ground in a densely overgrown forest. Her head was pounding, she must have hit the ground hard. She struggled to her feet, and as she did so she felt her head getting lighter. Her memories were slowly fading, she couldn't recall what had happened. She tried to think of where she had come from, and she couldn't remember. Did she have friends? Family? Was this forest where she lived? She knew nothing. She could only remember her name.
"Maddy?" The name didn't come from her own mouth.
She whipped around and noticed a man standing behind her, his hands clasped behind his back.
"Wh-who are you? How do you know my name?" She asked him, startled. She wondered how long he had been standing there.
"My name is Archie. I know your name because you're a part of a team of criminals of which I am the leader of. Team Aqua." The man named Archie told her.
"Team... Aqua?" Something about it sounded familiar, but Maddy couldn't recall.
Suddenly, Archie jumped forward and pushed Maddy, sending her hard into a nearby tree. She caught a glimpse of a syringe shining with a golden liquid before it was jabbed into her neck. Archie smirked as the syringe emptied. Maddy fell to the ground, screaming in pain. She felt like her whole body was on fire. Blood trickled from her nostrils and her vision began to go blurry.
"Wh-what... was that... for?" She whimpered, beginning to black out from the pain.
"I know what you're capable of. I'll be making sure to keep those demon powers of yours tame. Take her away, boys, we'll lock her up nice and tight."
Something was placed over Maddy's head and she felt herself being lifted and carried away. She lost consciousness.
[Currently...]
A black-haired man by the name of Matthias walked in to the common room of Team Aqua's base in Lilycove City. He sat down on the couch with a relaxed sigh. It was quite bare in HQ at the moment, but he rather enjoyed the solitude.
"I wonder when Archie plans to start carrying out his plans..." He thought.
He wiped his hair out of his eyes, revealing that they were red and that he had black circular tribal tattoos on his temples.

"I've never been to Lilycove." a brunette haired male in a black shirt with a red 'R' across the chest stood outside the Pokemon Center. The townspeople kept giving him weird looks as he traveled the main street to the water. Glancing down at his map and then out to sea he smirked and stepped into the water, he had always been a good swimmer.
"Halt, who goes there?!" as voice yelled as Ginji stepped out of the water and into the Aqua Lilycove base. Without a word, he handed a piece of paper (that was miraculously unsoaked) to the guard and simply walked inside without a confirmation.
"Well... at least they didn't give me the usual runaround." he said before running his fingers through his hair and trying to find the person he was suppose to report to.

"Well that was surprisingly easy." A young man states as he walks down a hallway in the Aqua Base. "Answer a couple questions, swear loyalty and presto a full on member of Aqua. Gangs these days just don't know how to look after themselves." The man eyes a few security cameras and smirks. He looks down at the shiny Larvitar walking beside him. The Larvitar looks back up into his trainer's eyes. The trainer's eyes are two different colours, left being brown and right being blue.
"This won't be too bad, will it Blade?"
"Lar!" The Pokemon responds.
"Now we just gotta find our room..." He looks down at a slip of paper in his hands and up at the intersecting hallways where he stopped. "Huh..."

Nick wandered down the halls of the Aqua base. It was just his second day here and nothing much had happened yet. He felt as if he was forgetting to do something... It was a nagging feeling he just couldn't shake off. Shoving it to the back of his head, he continued to walk as a Totodile and a Pichu with a rather peculiar ear followed after him.
"To?" It asked, looking up to it's trainer.
"Nah, I still can't remember, Zero."
"Pichu! Pi pi!" The yellow Pokemon leaped up to it's trainer's head, pointing to another Aqua member further up ahead.
"Oh. Hey. You looking for something?" Nick approached Jeff at the four-way hallway intersection. Sometimes he felt this place was more complicated than the Sinnoh underground...
