Good work you did there, kid. You sure did clear that area. Good thing there's this nice fancy clearing here that's perfect bait for relief workers to be out in the open, a perfect view for anyone with less than good intent to survey the surrounding area.

Yeah, no. No one said that. The street was empty and gutted (good work Aandes!), and the troll himself sat woefully on a street bench. He'd taken off his sweaty hoodie and was sitting on it, shielding himself from whatever was previously on said bench. He hadn't worked so hard in a while... And the venture was hardly worth it. The kid had searched this street and found a few fancies -- Koalapops was taking care of his loot -- but nothing particularly striking. If only he'd been here a week before...! Or if he lived here... That may have been a jackpot. Aandes sighed. This whole trip was a bust. It just kept getting worse and worse. Time to back out.

Suddenly, the form of two trolls caught the young greenblood's eye -- relief workers. Maybe he'd pose as a friendly face? Certainly seemed like he could get out of here faster, as long as he hid his goods well enough. He got up from his resting spot and sidled over to get a better view of the two. A sharp-dressed yellowblooded kid the same age as he and an equally sharp greenblooded female. He certainly wouldn't mind schmoozing up to those two. Aandes raised his brows. He was about to decide whether to appear injured, frightened, helpful or lost, when a cloaked figure approached.

Aandes immediately receded, eyes wide with interest. So someone was taking advantage of his clear street after all. And she was definitely stylish as well. Aandes needed to consider his options. He smirked and retreated to an alleyway, out of the line of sight.

So far, Eostre's scavenging turned up very little. A few stray trinkets, too small to really be looked at made their way into her bag, a couple articles of clothing were picked up and tossed to the side with a grimace. She was at least above stealing nasty poor troll's clothing. She made her way out of the rubble, back to the surface of the street.

Eostre pulled her hood back up over her head, obscuring her face from proper view. She never really did like being seen as someone who'd loot and pillage if given the chance. Footsteps approaching put Eostre back on guard, tightening her grip on her signature knuckle dusters, staying silent. Stealth always gave her the upper hand.

She made her way behind the troll. Judging by her outfit, she was probably a relief worker. Not that that really mattered, either way, a fight was going to break out, and Eostre was going to start it. Rushing ahead, she punched the girl in the kidneys. Sneak attack!

Pyruet liked this kid. Didn't talk when he shouldn't. When he did, it wasn't the inane and pointless gibbering that most children his age never shut up with. Kind of a precocious little guy. Didn't stare at her scars. Also, he was a pretty smart dresser, and frankly, that always makes people more tolerable. So yeah, she didn't mind that they'd been assigned to relief work together. They'd even had pretty good luck with avoiding looters, except for the one that just decked Pyre in the back.

She exhaled hard and struggled to breathe back in, but whirled around nonetheless, backhanding Eostre in her spin and quickly distancing herself. A pain-induced coughing fit didn't stop her from drawing a revolver and centering it in Eostre's chest. She examined the petit opponent, eyes locking on the girl's fists. "Stupid." She straightened her back, cringing at the pain. ******** kidney-shots, she'd be pissing gore for a few days. "Stupid to bring knuckledusters to a gun fight." She bared her teeth at the girl, quietly growling, waiting on her to move in a hostile manner, waiting on an excuse to pull the trigger.

Eostre grinned, throwing a fine punch towards the other girl. "It looks like I don't need anything but my knuckledusters, here," she said. Nothing like a good fistfight, after all.

She was fast, that was for sure. One glance over to check on the kid, one instant of not keeping her eyes on the purpleblood, and suddenly Pyre was stopping a punch with her jaw. She grit her teeth, running her tongue over them to make sure none had been knocked out, and lashed out at Eostre with the revolver, pistol-whipping her, and following it up with a point-blank rubber bullet fired into her ribs.

A bullet to the ribs wasn't the greatest feeling in the world, but thankfully it wasn't lethal. A bit of a frown crossed Eostre's face before she decided her best defense was a great offense. Sucking down the pain, Eostre lunged forward for another punch at the greenblood's person.

"Quite," she grunted.

Pyruet snarled as Eostre's knuckles slammed into her forearm. Trying to block knuckledusters didn't result in much except changing where you got injured. She lashed out again, swinging heavily at the girl with the butt of the gun. No pulled punches, looters and thieves deserved every bit of pain they got.

Eostre gasped as the butt of the greenblood's gun jabbed her already bruising ribs. It winded her for a moment, but Eostre ground her teeth together and retaliated with another punch. Despite the pain, Eostre felt a familiar rush rising in her body. The thrill of the fight!

Pyre caught that punch, wincing as she once again failed to really block it, and shoved her gun back into its holster on her chest, slamming her elbow into Eostre in the same motion. She dug her nails into the back of the blueblood's hand before letting go and letting out a rather feral growl, curling her lips and baring her fangs. She wasn't experiencing any of the thrills or rush that Eostre was, but she was getting into the fight in her own way--her own weird, primal, rather animalistic way.

Eostre hissed as Pyruet dug her nails into her hands. She broke through the glove and into her flesh, breaking skin. God damn, this girl was almost as feral as Tierte! Eostre put her arms in a more guarded position this time as she punched the girl, not wanting anymore nasty surprises like that elbowing or getting her clothing ripped.

Pyruet grunted in pain as she felt her lips split, the newest punch hitting her pretty much square in the mouth. Her teeth were intact, but the blood running down her chin made the injury look a lot more serious than it probably was. She glared at Eostre and spat the blood that had quickly filled her mouth in the girl's face before throwing a retaliatory jab.

Eostre is taken aback by the greenblood's sudden new tactic - spitting gross as hell green blood into Eostre's face. "Ugh!" Eostre spits onto the ground to get the taste off of her mouth. Visibly disgusted, Eostre's hands fly to her face to try and wipe off the blood, and she attempts to take a swing at Pyruet, although she was still pretty ******** grossed out.
