Description Wood Release (木遁, Mokuton; English TV "Wood Style") techniques combine earth and water-based chakra to create wood. Wood Release techniques can be produced from anywhere, including the user's body, as the user's chakra is literally converted into a source of life. Hashirama Senju was the originator of this ability, evidenced by the fact that none of his relatives have been shown capable of using Wood Release. The First's ability to use these techniques was the reason for him being given the title of Hokage, and with Wood Release Secret Technique: Birth of Dense Woodland he was able to grow the trees that served as the foundation of Konohagakure. Orochimaru, in his quest to harvest the First's abilities, injected his DNA into 60 test subjects, and out of the 60 only Tenzo survived. This gave Tenzo the Wood Release abilities. However, he is not as masterful as Hashirama. A possibly unrelated technique, but unique to the First and Yamato, is the Hokage-style Sixty-year-old Technique - Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-bringing Hands. This technique produces a seal "sit" (座) on the user's hand that can suppress a tailed beast's influence over its host. This is done by producing wooden dragons from the ground that attach to the host and force the tailed beast's chakra to recede. The First Hokage's Necklace aids in this technique's execution, but its exact role is unclear.
Rules • To have this bloodline one must have both suiton and doton elements • Weaknesses is fire and lightning • The rate of the growth of wood varies with rank, the higher the rank, the faster the wood can be made and used. • As the user's rank grows, the density and overall strength of the wood grows with it • Techniques are stronger when around natural wood

Well right off the bat, this Bloodline is seriously lacking in description. Also, I'd like to bring up the point of classifying this as a Bloodline by itself or revamping it as the Senju Clan.
I've done some research into the Senju Clan and while they didn't have any clear cut jutsu they were the Uchiha's main competitor because they had some measure of skill in every facet of ninja skills.
Passive Skills: Enhanced Physical Ability [Perhaps an extra Taijutsu/Kenjutsu Slot or increasing the strength of their Taijutsu/Kenjutsu by a rank as opposed to bolstering Strength/Speed/ect by 1 rank] Reasoning - They are descended from the Sage's youngest son and inherited his physical enegy so maybe we can interpret that to mean better physical abilities.
Great Willpower :The ability to resist succumbing to mental distress, allowing them to utilize techniques that are extremely taxing on the mind with greater ease as.
Reasoning - Will of Fire? I thought it would be cool to throw something about that in here as that is something the Clan is pretty well known for.
Prodigious Ninja Skills: The ability to learn X amount of jutsu from 1 skill set they normally do not have access to up ever rank. Reasoning - They were the Uchiha's main competitors because of this ability. I have a similar skill in my custom bloodline I'm working on but it can nerfed for the sake of this Clan.
And then on top of these Skills they have access to Mokuton, maybe at like Chuunin rank since it seems like a really powerful technique in the manga/anime. We really just need to define the resiliency and rate of growth at every rank as well as show that it branches out from more than jutsu Wood Manipulation since the main premise is the user turning their chakra into life-force to influence local vegetation and stuff.

Seeing as it would be nothing more than a name change, I am neutral on whether to call it Senju or Mokuton. Both sound pretty cool already, though no matter what, we should still list this as a bloodline. Its one of the elemental combinations, and therefore, is a bloodline.
I dunno if those passive skills are really necessary. Sure, they're descended from the sage of six paths, but I don't think that grants them an automatic power boost both physically and mentally. Does it make sense historywise? I guess. Does it make sense RPwise? Not really, its just a random powerup in two major aspects for little reason.
Limiting Mokuton use to C rank? I can see limiting the powerful jutsu to C and up, but why not leave some basic techniques for the little guys?
Hikaro, as a mokuton user, what are your thoughts?

I have a major leaning towards making all elemental combinations C rank. Why? Simply put a genin with one of these bloodlines already has two elements, where more only have one. Why then do they also have the skill and power to combine them and achieve a third, before most are even developing the ability to use a second?
I vote yes on calling it Senju. Giving all of the bloodlines clan names improves them a lot I think, even if it is just aesthetic. I'd also rather like to drop the split between clans and bloodlines entirely. Sure, not all clans are considered a bloodline, but what's the real difference? They both get restricted jutsu, both get chakra boosts, and both get comparable boosts in ability. No real reason to separate them.

How about we just mandate people to the rules we have already: 2nd element at chuunin, 3rd at jounin, and Elemental Combo element whenever they reach a rank applicable with one of it's jutsu. I know what you're gonna say, "if they can use the elements separately yet they can't use them in combination!", but its the combined element that they're going for, so restricting what they applied for to C rank doesn't make sense RPwise.

Senju Clan rename: I disagree, there was only person. ever, who could use Mokuton naturally (The hokage). it wasn't exactly central to the clan. Not to mention the fact that the bloodline completely died off before it was rebooted by Orochimaru. Any ties to the Senju clan name would be very very thin. I also kind of like the idea of the bloodline not being tied to a clan name, like a rogue bloodline without a huge central society like most Clans have. I'm not sure why they need a boost to anything. As I said before, the "line" is very loosely connected to the original user, so even if he got some Senju benefit I'm not sure why modern users would. Plus again, I'm not sure it's really necessary.
Physical ability: a rank boost I think is totally misplaced here, wouldnt fit in very well, and is unnecessary. We are trying to bring such boosts under control, which means not handing them out like candy.
Willpower: Again I'm not entirely sure where this fits in, and i'm also not sure it would apply in RP really. It certainly would need to be better defined.
Prodigious Ninja Skills: Again it seems odd. They get full access to an three elements right off the bat (though they must unlock Mokuton). Giving them more jutsu they do nor have access to seems odd.
C Rank unlock: No I disagree again, sorry I tend to do that. Mokuton should just scale normally, and be treated normally. This is why we have ranked jutsu, so strong jutsu cannot be thrown about by anyone. Just keep the jutsu ranked properly and this should not be a problem at all. It also kind of ruins the fun in having the bloodline if you dont even get to use it until you reach a higher rank. From a more practical level, just imagine how many members we will lose or fail to get. Simply requiring a life and death dilemna should be plenty. It ensures people don't just get it for free, but don't need to wait forever for it. I'm not against limiting their access to the second element used. This solves the three element problem but doesnt cut them off from the bloodline. It wouldnt be hard to explain either, they have a natural affinity for one half of the mix, get access to Mokuton, and then have to learn to seperate the secondary element and use it alone. We could even make the bloodline element the only one originally available, not require unlocking it, and have them learn how to seperate both elements later, but I don't think we should do this unless the mixed element has a good set of jutsu. For instance Mokuton really doesn't have enough for it to match the other elements on it's own. I think the mixed element and a primary element should be available to Genin. We should still require unlocking the bl element. The third can then be given at Chuunin, or if really necessary Jounin.
Bloodline vs Clan: I agree with Hinote on just merging the two rather than trying to draw a line between the two. First, it's not necessary since they are both treated exactly the same. Second, the line is blurred and will continue to be blurred. Uchiha for instance are from a clan, but can also get a bloodline. I'm not against giving them the ability to manipulate other plants beyond just wood, but think wood should definitely remain the central and larger portion of their skills. -------------------------------- My own ideas: We may want to discuss whether or not to go with the Demon control end of the ability. It is tied into Cannon pretty strongly, and could prove very interesting in RP. To create a bloodline with the ability to contain a Demons forms. This would make Mokuton users very useful without actually giving them a significant power boost and making them OP.The basic concept would probably be raising the requirements needed for a Demon to advance stages more than anything. Though we could also attempt to allow them to push a Jinchuuriki backwards through the stages. Hinote would be a huge help if we chose to do this. I do not think this should be easy or even fast, and would definitely only possible for A+ users or even S.

That seems like a good way of putting it. It just seems to me like it flows a bit better than all of a sudden Yamatano develops this clan out of nowhere. It also avoids the awkward issue with the Uchiha and Hyuuga with explaining the spread of their bloodline. It skips most of the awkward bits in the description, makes it so it isn't just a snippet of a character Bio, and gives it some POTS originality.

Although I will definitely look at them as closely as any other jutsu. Mokuton Bunshin: These were created before the C rank for Solid clones was declared and need to be updated. The basic version should be C rank, and the advanced B or A rank. Note that I seperated the tracking seed from the bunshin because... it should be a seperate jutsu.
Random Side Note: Every time I look at the bloodline it cracks me up how Contradictory I made Masaki (though I did so intentionally to make things interesting). If I had designed him more straightforward he would be a member of a more offensive bloodline/clan and be a tai or weapon specialist.

I don't think giving this any attachment to the Senju clan is a good idea. It's a genetic offshoot, nothing more and nothing less. It simply took one characteristic of one Senju and singled it out in order to create the bloodline. Which would mean of course, that none of the other Senju traits they may have had came in the package. I mean, there's canon proof that Mokuton doesn't alter any other abilities of the shinobi. Honestly, even just by looking at the Mokuton bloodline on the Wiki page, the scale of powerful techniques this bloodline has is pretty huge, especially considering an offshoot of the bloodline seems to be chakra suppression in both shinobi and demons. I'd say that's a pretty hefty bloodline in itself.
Bl vs. Cl: The only true reason to separate the two is based on in game purposes. Clans tend to hold more inner-village political and social control than someone with just a bloodline. Other than that though, it doesn't hold much weight.
I know there are offshoots of their wood abilities that exist like this, as well as this. Basically, anything that deals with a natural forest seems plausible for them. Based on what I'm seeing from the bloodline, I would gather that if they were going to manipulate other types of plants, those jutsu would be what comprised most of the D-rank jutsu, as well as a few C-ranks as well. The bloodline is said to be able to manipulate and create other aspects of trees such as seeds or flowering plants, so it's certainly plausible.
As far as the demon suppression, I think it should definitely be tied into the bloodline. I mean, basically the only thing in this guild currently that can contend with a demon is another demon. It would be interesting to see shinobi in the RP designed specifically to take down jinchuuriki, or even on a smaller scale easily dispatch enemies by sapping or even suppressing their chakra. Things like the four-pillar prison technique could have higher ranking versions that suppress chakra at certain ranks to detain people, etc etc. It just seems like a really interesting concept to intermingle with the bloodline. I mean, creating wood is cool, but the quickness of it as well as the fact that the user's own chakra is converted into source of life capable of sapping chakra like the roots of trees sap water out of the ground is pretty cool. I'd say run with it.
I'd honestly take a look a look here for new jutsu. They definitely exist, and I'm sure a large number could be tailored to fit the guild. I will say a great few will probably need to determine CP deducted by post, but that isn't difficult.
Thank you Luo, I kind of wanted some outside opinion on that idea before running with it.
I'll see about making a larger list of jutsu, your resources should certainly help. Now that I think about it we already have one jutsu with draining ability, however I think it would be better to focus on suppression jutsu rather than draining jutsu since that is kind of infringing on Aburame. Maybe one or two high level jutsu can drain still though.
I'll post new jutsu candidates when I get a chance.
If anyone else has input, especially regarding the content in my last post, please chime in.

As for the Senju/Mokuton thing, personally I'd say you should split it. It's been shown in the naruto universe that Senju don't work with wood, they work with charka manipulation; they are considered to be one of the best ninja in the naruto world. We have Tsunade and her incredible healing abilities, which can be considered pure chakra manipulation, the Second Hokage and his crafting of the Edo Tensei and such. I'd make the Senju clan a Clan of just that, ninja that are expert at Chakra manipulation/crafting, because that's what they are in the end. The three most prominent Senju have been able to break the set when it comes to manipulating chakra, there's no reason to slap the clan with Wood Release; it wouldn't make sense. A way to go about it is to limit the Senju to three members and allowing them to bend the rules a little in the subject of chakra use/control [ High Chakra Reserves and their own set of Jutsu ] because lets face it, RP wise, there is no guild that has captured the true essence of the Senju, and I think that we should be the first. I honestly don't know what a good example would truly be for this, since the first thing that comes to mind is the Shinra and Bansho Tensei; just the push and pull, not the Chibaku Tensei, which is my personal favorite. None the less, this is an example of something of the sorts. To be fair, it would be easy to abuse of something like this, but it wouldn't all together. It would take a hell of an RPer to come up with a good enough concept for this to be pulled off, though I'd go for the two Tensei techniques because Deva Path Pein is amazing.
I would disagree with having elemental combinations being C rank; maybe the main element, but not C rank. Though I agree that they shouldn't have all three elements in one rank, I do not think that they should wait to be C rank to get the element. I'd do it as such: First element being the bloodline, Secondary one of the two, and the third well the other one.
Well if I were you, I'd stick the draining ability to only demons or Jinchuuriki then. That way, it doesn't infringe on Aburame for the sheer fact that an Aburame could never hope to produce enough insects to effectively and quickly drain a demon's chakra. Hell, it may even be poisonous to the insects.

The idea I got from the seed idea probably wont actually work. I was thinking it would be cool to allow a user to put a jutsu in seed form, to activate later. However there would be issues. You could put a limit on how long they last before they are useless, so the user doesnt just get free jutsu out of it, but then there is still the issue it allows them to make two actions in a post (activating the seed and something else). Or if it doesnt allow that then it just does nothing at all.

Kind of throwing ideas out there right now, I have little doubt that a few will have to be removed.
I think the chakra tree is fine, its an expensive jutsu and not nearly as flexible as aburame bugs. However I will not add any more unless they are really good.
I will finalize and format them once I get some opinions. Anything I would add before finalizing, such as more detailed descriptions or format, will not change the general concepts behind them.
Regarding all demon suppression jutsu: I think the drawbacks from using any suppression technique are plenty to make them work. Essentially the mokuton user cannot do anything for themselves, Containment allows them to dodge but that is it. The other two are pretty much impossible to use without a strong team to protect you.
Demon Containment: I said that it cannot be broken by strength, basically it cant be broken just from the demon moving around and/or pulling on it. If that were allowed the jutsu would break as soon as the demon made any attempts to move. So I said that it must be directly attacked to be broken. The 50 foot rule restriction doesnt really seem to do much, that is plenty space for most situations. I just wanted to avoid an issue where the demon runs halfway across the country and still has pillars wrapped around it. Didn't want to make them break at 50 feet because that would make it too easy to escape.
Mokuton Jutsu:
AS: Tree Talk: By pouring a small amount of chakra into a plant, the user is able to manipulate it to a small extent. This allows them to bend branches or move sharp vines to clear a path, conceal themselves or can even help set up basic traps. Only works on still living plants.
Seed jutsu: creates normal tree seeds which grow twice as fast as normal trees. Allows a mokuton user to grow large forests with very little chakra usage if they are willing to wait a while.
Harmless Root: Causes up to three roots to grow out of the ground, usually used to trip people.
Sapling: Creates A tree up to 3” in diameter and 6 feet high. This jutsu is often the first jutsu a Mokuton user learns as it requires all the key components of higher rank Mokuton. This technique can also be used in combat to hinder an opponents movement. Almost any technique is capable of killing the tree. Tree grows just as a natural tree would, although the jutsu is not well suited to repopulating forests.
D:
Vines: Requires an existing wood source such as a tree or lumber. Creates up to three vine ropes, up to 20 feet long. If left attached these vines can then spread and grow naturally, assuming the climate is warm enough. This technique is often used in place of rope, as it is slightly stronger and can be created on demand.
Growth Spurt: A trivial jutsu in most combat circumstances, athough its uses outside of combat are numerous. By concentrating their chakra into an existing plant, the user can accellerate it's growth up to three times the natural period. This can be used for for helping a plant population, or even to grow herbs spices and poisons.
C: Tree of Detainment: The user creates a 5 foot pillar up to 1 foot in diameter. Anyone who gets pushed against the block will find themselves entangled by several very thick branches, as the block grows around them and forms a cross shaped tree. The target's head is left free, but all limbs are strongly held. While contained the target is unable to properly mold their chakra, making ninjutsu or genjutsu impossible. Takes up to B ranked strength to break free with brute force or they can break the chakra limitations (and escape the jutsu) by expelling a B ranks worth of chakra.
A: Four Pillars Containment: Prereq: Four Pillars Prison Creates a Solid box of wood around an area. Box can reach a maximum size of 15 feet (length width and height). Anyone contained within the box has extreme difficulty accessing their chakra reserves properly making all chakra costs one rank higher.
Demon Suppression: One of the most difficult and advanced abilities of a Mokuton user is the ability to contain and capture the Nine Tailed Beasts. Demon Supression is the simplest method for restraining a demons growth. The user first performs an extremely complicated and specialized set of seals before slamming both hands on the ground. Four Pilars with Dragons heads burst from the ground around the user, creating a Diamond shape, Each facing towards the North, South, east or West. These pillars are 4 feet tall, and can endure up to B ranks worth of damage before breaking. The user must then enter a trance, focusing his/her mind solely on the demon and the four Pillars. So long as the trance is unbroken, and all four heads are in tact, the targetted demon cannot advance to the next stage. The user can repair up to one head per post without breaking his trance. The main drawback of this technique is that the user is unable to move, and therefore cannot protect himself or the pillars. (Costs 4 chakra per turn and 10 chakra to repair a broken pillar.)
S: Kajukai Kōrin (World of Flowering Trees): Taking advantage of the innate properties of Wood Release which allows the user to force trees to grow on any surface in an instant, the user creates a dense forest of flowering trees. The pollen produced by these flowers is then released into the atmosphere and when inhaled, renders any afflicted target unconscious within 2 posts of exposure. In order to counter the technique fully, either the trees themselves must be destroyed, the target must remain outside the range of the dispersed pollen or have some way of filtering their air supply (gas mask etc).
Calm Demon: Prereq: Demon Supression The more advanced form of Demon Supression, the user first performs an extremely complicated and specialized set of seals before slamming both hands on the ground. Four Pilars with Dragons heads burst from the ground around the user, creating a Diamond shape, Each facing towards the North, South, east or West. These pillars are 4 feet tall, and can endure up to B ranks worth of damage before breaking. The user is elevated on a fifth Pillar, 5 feet tall and 5 feet thick which appears to be another dragon Head staring straight up the user is sitting on its nose, so if the dragon opened its mouth he/she would be consumed. The user must then enter a trance, focusing his/her mind solely on the demon and the four Pillars. So long as the trance is unbroken, and all four heads are in tact, the targetted demon cannot advance to the next stage, instead they begin to reverse through the stages. Every third post the jutsu is active the targeted demon loses one stage. The user can repair up to one head per post without breaking his trance. The main drawback of this technique is that the user is unable to move, and therefore cannot protect himself or the pillars. (Costs 4 chakra per turn and 10 chakra to repair a broken pillar.)
Demon Containment: Prereq: Demon Supression Created to allow the user to restrain a demon without requiring a team, Demon Containment starts out very similar to Demon Supression. First the user performs a complicated sealset and slams their hands on the ground, then four pillars burst from the ground, surrounding the Demon in stead of the user. While they still sit as if on a compass, one towards North, South etc the dragons heads face inward and toward the Demon. As long as any part of the Demon is between the four pillars the user can then hold one simple activation seal, which causes all four pillars to extend and wrap around the Demon. The pillars then halt any progress the demon makes towards later stages, and holds it within 50 feet of the activation site. The pillars cannot be broken by strength alone, they must be directly attacked. The pillars are able to repair themselves actively, and move organically with the demon to prevent breakage from the demons movement. They can withstand up to an A ranks worth of damage before breaking. Because the jutsu does not drain chakra (beyond initial cost) until the activation seal is used, it can be set up ahead of time as a trap if a Demon battle is expected. Drains 4 chakra per post, and an extra 10 to replace a broken pillar. The user can repair up to one head per post. The demon cannot begin advancing stages until the post after being freed, allowing the user one post to repair the jutsu. The user is able to move and dodge normally, but any attempt to block or attack will break their trance as well as the jutsu itself.
Tree Talk: Other than a name I don't necessarily think fits with the jutsu, seems fine.
Seed Jutsu; Again, just name alteration. Although it seems you were just getting the idea down rather than worrying about the name.
Harmless Root: See above.
Sapling: If it grows just like a natural tree, wouldn't the progression to even being sapling sized be, well a long one?
Vines: I would say there would have to be plant life more so than wood in the area. Other than that, pretty good.
Growth Spurt: No complaints.
ToD: I like it.
FPC: I like it personally. The only thing is the prerequisite doesn't seem to exist yet.
DS: Should there be a cooldown to the suppression abilities, so you can't immediately try again? I'm honestly asking your opinion, I just think the strain would be too much to just turn around and try it again. Other than that nothing really strikes me as being out of hand.
Calm Demon: See above.
DC: See above.
WoFT: What's the range we're talkin' here? As in, how large of a forest is created? Just as well, wouldn't this require Nativity of a World of Trees? Also, Nativity of a Sea of Trees also seems to be missing, which in my opinion is basically the first true testament to their ability to create woodland fast.

Tree Talk and names: Yeah, I had an idea and it changed pretty quickly. Never changd the name. I'll think of something. I wasnt really concerned with names.
Sapling: After creation it grows at a normal rate. I wll correct the language.

Demon supression/Calm Demon: How about if their concentration breaks they must spend at least one post without using mokuton at all. Or possibly without using chakra. Or just 3 posts normal cooldown.

Mokuton users have the ability to blend earth (Doton) and water (Suiton), to create and manipulate wood and other simple organics (Plantlife) to a lesser extent. Wood masters often thrive in support roles, due to flexibility and resilience of it's separate elements. However the Mokuton user is not restricted to defensive roles and can pose deadly attacks. It is rumored that Mokuton users even gain the ability to suppress Demons, making them popular teammates for Jinchuuriki and not uncommon on sealing teams. Cannot gain fourth element without ninja type or profession benefits. 4. Bloodline element must be activated before use regardless of the rank. This can be done by finding a bloodline member to train you. OR A situation of high stress in which the bloodline is either the best, or only, method of removing the cause of said stress, it can be released in one violent jutsu in self defense. This can only occur once. 5. Jutsu are half (-.5)a rank slower than other Ninjutsu. 6. Fire is treated as one rank stronger against Mokuton 7. When around natural living wood (a forest) Mokuton jutsu gain .5 rank durability
History: The Mokuton Bloodline started and ended with the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju. With his death the bloodline ended, until Orochimaru managed to get some of his cells and duplicate them. Thousands of failed experiments and attempts to duplicate the bloodline failed before the birth of the shinobi Yamato of Konoha whose real name was lost to history. Due to it's unorthodox birth, the bloodline never formed the same rigid Clan structure used by other bloodlines such as the Uchiha and Hyuuga. Instead it's users spread and formed their own family names and ties, even moving beyond Konoha and to the other great villages. Due to the bloodline's lack of structure, users often appear seemingly at random across the country and it has become rare to find many users in any one place. However in recent times some families have chosen to reclaim the Senju surname in an attempt to tie themselves back to the "God of Shinobi" himself, and original bloodline bearer Hashirama.

Demon Suppression Rank: A Type: Ninjutsu | Suppression Description: One of the most difficult and advanced abilities of a Mokuton user is the ability to contain and capture the Nine Tailed Beasts. Demon Supression is the simplest method for restraining a demons growth. The user first performs an extremely complicated and specialized set of seals before slamming both hands on the ground. Four Pilars with Dragons heads burst from the ground around the user, creating a Diamond shape, Each facing towards the North, South, east or West. These pillars are 4 feet tall, and can endure up to B ranks worth of damage before breaking. The user must then enter a trance, focusing his/her mind solely on the demon and the four Pillars. So long as the trance is unbroken, and all four heads are in tact, the targetted demon cannot advance to the next stage. The user can repair up to one head per post without breaking his trance. The main drawback of this technique is that the user is unable to move, and therefore cannot protect himself or the pillars. (Costs 4 chakra per turn and 10 chakra to repair a broken pillar. It spend 2 posts without using Mokuton after failed attempt)

Four Pilars with Dragons heads burst from the ground around the user, creating a Diamond shape, Each facing towards the North, South, east or West. These pillars are 4 feet tall, and can endure up to B ranks worth of damage before breaking. The user must then enter a trance, focusing his/her mind solely on the demon and the four Pillars. So long as the trance is unbroken, and all four heads are in tact, the targetted demon cannot advance to the next stage. The user can repair up to one head per post without breaking his trance. The main drawback of this technique is that the user is unable to move, and therefore cannot protect himself or the pillars. (Costs 4 chakra per turn and 10 chakra to repair a broken pillar. It spend 2 posts without using Mokuton after failed attempt)

Changing Birth of Dense Woodland to Sea of trees, since allowing a forest t oactively move and try to kill someone seems too OP.
