Personality ⇒ Aia has the carefree-ness and curiosity of a child. She is kind but kind of a tomboy and isn't afraid to get dirty. She loves to fight, seeming at her happiest when in battle. She has more of a connection with her zanpaktou than most, so she has constant conversations with it(because its her brother) and sometimes it seems like she is talking to herself. Even though she always seems happy, she truly wishes to someday be able to touch her brother's hand again.
Biography ⇒ When alive:
Aia and her brother, who was strangely named Maru, were national champs in samurai competitions(Kendo?). They had been interested in the ways of the samurai since they discovered what Maru's name ment( its usually a common ending for a samurai) They were called "The Maru's" among the other competitors. PS even though they seem they did, Aia and Maru never swore to the code of the samurai, bushido, because they were the youngest in the competitions and clubs(groups) and too young to swear to it.
How she died:
One evening in a park Aia and Maru were just about to head home when a hollow attacked and killed them. The hollow attacked the two because they had abnormally high spiritual presser for humans.(and yes they could see ghosts) The two's souls where saved by a soul reaper who jumped in and killed the hollow before it could eat them.(is it alright if the soul reaper is the captain of squad 13?) That soul reaper looked into the children's eyes and saw much potential in them and promised to find them in the soul society and then preformed a konsoul.
In the soul society:
When Aia and Maru arrived in the soul society they had no memory of when they were living(isn't that how it is with everyone?) besides there names and the fact that they are siblings. They wandered around a lot because no matter where they went, they couldn't fit in. For some reason Aia already had a zanpaktou with her but Maru didn't(they didn't know it was a zanpaktou then) As they wandered from district to district they wandered into a shady part of a district. All of the sudden a bunch of thugs surrounded them and they were holding knives and daggers. The thugs wanted Aia's sword. Feeling a strange bound to the sword Aia, of course, refused. The thugs, pissed off about this, lunged at the twins. Maru, fearing for his sister's life, jumped in front of her to protect her. Unable to escape and not wanting her brother to die Aia, for the first time, drew her sword. There was a flash of blinding light, then Aia blacked out. When she woke all of the thugs were lying on the ground bleeding. She didn't understand why they were like that until she looked down at her sword. It was covered in blood. Freaked out a little, Aia began to look around for her brother. He had disappeared. Some more thugs appeared and saw their buddies on the ground and the blood covered sword in Aia's hands. Not hesitating, the newer thugs lunged towards Aia prepared to avenge their fallen comrades. Aia stood there for a second then attacked them shouting "Where is my brother?! Where is he?!" in an angry voice. Aia sliced down the thugs with precision and ease, until there was only one left. She asked again "Where is my brother?" The man, being quite big, didn't answer. Aia lunged and attacked the large thug. The thug had some skill too so Aia had a lot of trouble attacking him. Just as the thug was about to cut Aia in two, time seemed to stop for a moment. Aia was no longer facing the large thug. She looked around confused. That's when she saw it. She saw here brother. Aia ran towards him but he said stop. Maru started to explain that he was gone but not gone. Aia didn't understand at first but then realized, Maru's soul was fused with her sword. Once she realized this she was back facing the large thug. She looked up at the thug and whispered "Maru" Aia's sword began to glow and change shape. Then before she knew it the large thug was dead.
Some time passed. Aia was sitting outside an banded shack tired, hungry, and bleeding(her arms were bleeding because she hugged her zanpaktou while it was unsheathed) Someone walked up to her and offered some food. Aia looked up and it was the soul reaper who saved her and her brother before. The soul reaper offered her a chance to be a soul reaper too.(she accepted)

Close range: Ketatamshii(Piercing) When it strikes a foe while rotating it causes great damage and makes a hole where it strikes(stabs) Limit on close range is 10

Far range: Ketatamshii-kaze(piercing wind)Because of its speed, wind accumulates around it and makes a tornado around the blades. Aia can aim that at a foe and blow them away. There is a limit of 4 for the far range.

If Aia's zanpaktou is knocked out of her hands she can use the gauntlet. It can be used at a close or far range attack. Its basically an energy blast, but Has a limit of 2 blasts and causes strain on her hand causing it to bleed.
Bankai Ability: ⇒

The white wing stuns foes with a blinding light but effects all so allies must shield their eyes before she uses it.
2.- Unmou-kuro
The black wing shoots out feathers at such a fast rate they will pierce through almost any armor.(Aia sometimes takes some feathers and saves them for later)
Limits: The limit of use may vary depending on how much damage Aia has taken before releasing her bankai. The more damage she takes, the more times she can use her bankai abilities. Her bankai uses the energy that made her injuries. So use without damage only lets here use her bankai abilities twice each. Damage after bankai release does nothing for her abilities.
Other things about bankai: Aia's speed is increased and wounds are healed to an extent(not completely healed)
Aia can use bankai but she prefers to keep it a secret.
Only two people know about it and they are the head captain and the lieutenant of squad 13. The reason she doesn't let people know about her bankai is because she doesn't like to use it. Every time she strikes a foe or blocks an attack with here sword, she can see her brother's soul in pain

Aia isn't that good at kido. She can use some healing kido. She tries that fire kido(Sorry don't know names that well) but it comes out of her mouth instead of her hand and it burns her tong. So she doesn't use it much.

Agility:
Dash
A most basic technique that allows the user to throw him/herself to a certain direction using a certain angle of which way the the stance is directed and executed. Based on an individual's atributes, dashing can be quite a moderately fast move instead of running. Also depending on the distance, dashing can be quite useful if in closer range to the opponent. This technique is used by all ranks.
