Personality: When challenged with aggressive peers she is thick-skinned andpatient. Ill intentions or insults often leave her unfazed as if they never even happened at all. She is quick to forgive and rarely holds grudges, a feature which can put her in a vulnerable position. When it comes to conversation, Lucy doesn't enjoy wasting time with pointless banter or gossip. She is straightforward and to-the-point, even if it means unintentionally appearing rude or brutally honest. Interactions with this woman are often short unless one manages to provoke a thoughtful conversation. Lucy is eager to help anyone in a precarious position; friends and enemies alike. With her protective nature, she will do anything from nursing a wound to throwing herself in the face of danger for the sake of her comrades - regardless of who they are. There doesn't have to be danger or violence for Lucy leap to the rescue, she is more than willing to lend an ear to anyone with emotional turmoil as well. It's easy to assume Lucy is reckless when she jumps into a dangerous situation without a second thought. In reality, Lucy is well aware of the consequences of her actions, but has long believed that caution was a waste of time; even more so now that her life expectancy is significantly shorter than it was before she was recruited.
Becoming a Hunter: It was one of those rare father-daughter nights when she was attacked. Seeing the shadowy figures of monsters was nothing new, but in the past their presence had always evoked more curiosity than fear. The details of the attack were lost in the chaos of powerful emotions, but Keziah distinctly remembers waking up afterwards. She survived the attack... but her father didn't. When she was approached by the other hunters, it was easy to agree to join. With her father gone she had no one left. She also saw it as an opportunity to obtain the role of protector in a way no earthly career could ever compare.

Personality: Yoldevor is very serious and strict. He can bark orders and insults in the same "breath" while constantly retaining a sense of calm. Jokes are a waste of time and attempting to make him lighten up or laugh is downright insulting. Lucy affectionately calls him Sarge, (deriving from 'drill sergeant') a nickname which she believes suits his ruthlessly demanding behavior. Despite his relentless insults, the two work especially well together during the heat of battle.
