Everyone who had posted on the signup sheet for Scario Kart Club would find themselves receiving a handwritten, scribbled note on each of their doors within a few days of signing up:
Quote: SCARIO KART CLUB MEETING
Where: Meet in the Common Room / Lounge on the first floor of the Monster Dorms When: Moonday, October 5th Why: Because we're awesome like that. Extra: TYBALT'S BRINGING SNACKS if there aren't any blame him.
When they arrived at the allocated spot, they would find a certain gryphon lounging on one of the wide couches, a few dozen pillows from his room scattered across the floor for people to sit on once they ran out of couch space, several trays of spookies and other such snacks (looks like he wasn't taking any chances with a certain black dog after all), as well as a very dopey looking dog, who was currently flopped across said gryphon's lap.
"WELCOME!" Ren boomed, spreading his arms wide and beaming and promptly dropping the dog onto the floor in the process. "So glad you all could make it to our first meeting!"
[ OOC: If you did not post in the Club Thread, you can still hop on into this rp if you want! Bring friends, bring yourself, bring minipets, whoever! This is just going to be a simple "get to know you" sort of thread so we can discuss some upcoming events that are (hopefully) going to be really fun! C: <3
If you are talking to Ren / have a question please quote me so I don't miss it!! ]

Mort was already there, because despite being a zombie, he was a zombie with a purpose. Anyone who had witnessed a hoard hunt a fleeing victim would know of the almost supernatural speed they could pick up when they really wanted something.
Plus, well, scheming with Ren was just too much fun. And he seriously needed fun in his life, because Insanity was just a super downer alright.
The zomboil was sprawled at the gryphon's left on a pillow, gnawing absentmindedly on a rather brainy piece of spookie he had brought for himself from a vending machine. Despite the calm demeanor, the idea of socializing still made him a little tense on the inside, moreso with whispers making him doubt the validity of his ideas. He hoped the sound of chewing would override that somehow, however brief.
"Dibs on leftovers if are any," he told Ren with a sidelong look and a grin.

Somehow Alexander was actually on time for something.
Maybe it was the promise of free snacks. More then likely, it was the fact that he already frequented the monster dorms anyways to visit Yin, and would have been there anyways. Whatever the reason, he was there, eyeing the pillows on the floor with small tilt of his head before honing in on a free space on a couch and shuffling his way over towards that to collapse himself into.
"Hey!" He greeted the gryphon boil, fairly certain that they had never met before, though he did look familiar.
"I'm Alexander." He grinned, leaning forward from his seat and extending his right hand, the one that was marked by the horsemen, though it was losing a lot of flesh now and the sigil was beginning to look a little mangled because of it.
His eyes might have been darting around a bit, searching for the snacks.
What he caught sight of, was spoookies. Sigh.
Mort got a wave with his free hand.

Ren turned his head towards Mort, giving the boil a grin and a wink.
"Gotcha."
Zippy made a vague attempt at trying to crawl back into Ren's lap, but considering that Ren was still standing, it wasn't a very successful attempt. The gryphon, meanwhile, was now smiling at the newcomer in the room, reaching out to take his (slightly degraded) hand.
"Alexander! I think I've seen you around before. Nice to meet you, I'm Ren." He waved an arm around at the various pillows and couches. "Feel free to have a seat anywhere; once people get settled, I'll start the meeting and we can talk about Things."
This last part was said with a certain kind of reverence, Ren's eyes practically glowing with anticipation.
"Oh, and if you guys have any ideas for our little club here, feel free to throw them my way!"

Alex gave the boil a nod. "Ya, I think so too..." Though again, he couldn't quite place where, and as soon as his hand was back, it was used to catch the flying treat that was hurtled towards his face by his zombro.
"Thanks." Mort got a grin as well, before Alex inspected what appeared to be a spookie in his hand, but smelt so delicious it had to be anything but. He shoved the whole thing into his mouth then relaxed back into the couch, hands lacing together and going behind the back of his head as he lounged in his seat, chilling like nobodies business.
Mismatched eyes landed on the new boil when he entered, and the zomboil frowned a little, thinking that he had definitely seen that boil somewhere before as well, maybe somewhere quite recently?
Well, whatever. He was sure if it was important, it would have come to him by now. For now he turned his attention back to Mort, and gave him a garbled answer from a mouthful of chewed up brain-too-good-to-be-a-spooky.
"In area. Boilfriend."
Good enough.

Although he was more little brother and less Scario Kart Club member, Jove showed up to participate in the gryphon's meeting. A written invite had not been necessary. When someone had a brother who was as talkative as Ren, and who was preparing spookies without giving their little brother some, it was clear the small ghost would know what was going on ahead of time.
Ren was the only one who might recognize the dapper young student on the spot as he wandered into the monster lounge. He appeared to be a young man of about sixteen, slight of build, yet with an enormously fluffy tail peeking out from under his ruffled, well-fitted jacket. Event those who had seen him around campus in his child's form might have reason to doubt his identity, even amongst the ghostly students, it was rare to have such a dramatic growth spurt.
The pup eyed the spookies, and he lifted his chin ever so slightly to scent the air, but resisted and wandered over to where his brother chatted with a few students who had already gathered. His natural silence wasn't helping his appearance, he could have posed as a new snot who was just too shy to speak up.

Zippy just slobbered happily on Mort's foot.
Ren, meanwhile, was bouncing up and down on the heels of his shiny black and white shoes, his wings flapping noisily behind his back. He gave the zomboil a mischievous grin, clapping his hands together.
"Yes," he said. "Yes, and we'll be talking about that idea very soon."
It was clear from his tone that Ren was very, very excited about said idea, and Alex was the recipient of a bright smile, and a curious tilt of the head. "Boilfriend?" he asked. "Who's your boilfriend, maybe I know him!"
Without missing a beat, an arm was slung around Andrew's shoulders as Ren bounced towards the boil, hovering in midair for a moment before landing beside him.
"Welcome, welcome," he said cheerfully. "My name's Ren - welcome to Scario Kart - aha - "
In a flurry of feathers and fur, Ren took off again, flying across the room to land right in front of someone who might have passed as his little brother, except was oddly too tall and who looked strangely older than said little brother.
Except nothing could fool Ren's Little Brother Radar.
"Jove!" he called delightedly, and promptly threw his arms around the boil's shoulders, dragging him into a crushing hug that probably squashed the air out of him (not that Jove even needed to breathe). "Lookit you in your new form, all grown up - "
He should probably duck at any moment Jove was probably going to smack him.

Getting the note on her door had positively delighted Olivia. This was an invitation. To play video games, which she had always wanted to play but never could. And it was going to be in the Monster's dorm which she had never ever gotten to go to (well, she never went to the other one either). So much in one day, she couldn't be happier.
The ghoul arrived at the common room in her usual quiet demeanor, pleased she had managed to find it on her own with little to no trouble (usually she would have liked to have followed someone, but Willow didn't seem to be around just yet). For the occasion she had decided to wear something a little nicer, which honestly... was pretty much what she always wore but just with a little less wear and tear. There was at least a wide smile on her face as she still found herself in the doorway, watching as Ren made his rounds to all the boils (huh, she seemed to be the only ghoul here so far).
Oh, there seemed to be a cute dog as well, slobbering everywhere and.... and Andrew. Olivia found her blue eyes instantly on him as he meandered his way away from the others. Should she go up to him, she wondered? He had told her to forget about him, but that was never an option for the wight. And she had his phone, something she had came upon by random happenstance in the library.
Hm. What to do. Honestly, she wasn't sure, so for the time being she pulled her eyes off him and made her way a little more into the room to watch the others for now.

Settle down, everyone, Jack was here.
Or that's what he was thinking, an amused little chortle rolling out of his throat as he meandered in to the room, already seeing a fairly sized group of people intermingling and talking - his eyes immediately were trained on a familiar zomboil, going towards him and curling up in a spot near Alexander, smiling to him lazily.
"Hall~o Alexander, pleasure seeing you again~." He chirruped to him, before turning to Ren and giving the club owner a welcoming grin - a fellow cat in his eyes (wings were just an addition.)
--------------
Secretly he hadn't had time to sign his name on the sheet, having come and learning about this club a little late - but games were something Eldrid had secretly adore since a puppy. Hand-eye co-ordination and the like. Clearing his throat, he looked in to the room and perched in a small corner, kind of lighting it up by just existing.
"I hope you don't mind another prospect member." He murmured to the one he considered the lead, giving the older boil a keen smile.

Olivia. He stared back at her, and then looked away tail curling back up into his lap. No he wasn't going to reduce his fire for her, she would either have to avoid him, or get over it. He came to play games and make some friends, not to brood over her.
He munched on his spookies feeling the bad mood take him over against his will, as his mind wandered back to the meeting with Jerry and Jordan and their weapons back in the haunted house. In his brooding he got very quiet, like he didn't really want to be there anymore. He debated leaving, there was a dog and something that looked like a fox, which was about close enough to a dog, and his space had already been invaded. But, the thought of games made him stay. He wanted to be able to do one of the few things he was good at.
